The saying goes "if I could give 0 stars, I would". This also goes for this restaurants service, food, and drinks. However, the only positive about this whole experience was the chips and salsa. I ordered a mango margarita and beef tacos. The beef tacos looked similar to something like"taco day" in high school and tasted worse. They looked like cafeteria lunch and tasted like "hurry up and leave so we can fill your table". I did not eat them, I just waited for my margarita which came about 20 min late because they had forgotten. Why did they forget... because no one checked to see if I was enjoying my meal, if I needed something extra... nothing. I then got my margarita... as I am sipping it right now I am pretty sure they skipped the alcohol and gave me margarita mix. I have to pay 13.34 ... and tip out of respect. This place is a waste.

Great food, great service,great drinks, great prices. we used to go to Don Pablos and after it closed we had no place local to go out for Mexican food. Let me tell you that we no longer miss Don Pablos. The service was excellent as well as the food and drinks. They recently got a liquor liscense and that was the only thing they needed to make this a perfect place to go to dinner. The food was delivered very fast and was very good. We even got appetisers to go for the kids that were delivered very fast. The menue was extensive andd maybe needs to be scaled down a little , but that really isnt a bad thing. We will definitely be back and next time we will bring friends. We got to Cancun about 5:30 on Fri. and it wasnt crowded but by the time we left at 6:15 it had filled up. I guess the word is getting out about them.

Food was very fresh and had a distinctive lightness" to it. You dont have to worry about feeling gut-busted, which I always do when leaving On The Border. Then again, I find myself wanting to eat again after two hours, so it is a bit of a dilemma. One might say their portions are small, but I think its the recipe. Its no larger or smaller than OTB, but definitely a different recipe. Service was good, and yes the decor is colorful and upbeat. On another site I saw a lot complaints about the guacamole... absolute nonsense. This is the best restaurant guacamole Ive ever had. Maybe they responded to the complaints by changing it, who knows. I just know it was tasty.

Cancun Mexican restaurant does a great job at bringing decent Mexican food to our area. The basket of chips were thin and super crispy. The salsa was tasty with a little "zing" and the food was well prepared and an exceptional value. I got a dinner combination of chile relleno and chicken enchilada that came with rice and beans for $10. The basket of chips were free and came with a small carafe of salsa. I did think it odd that it seemed like they used American cheese on the dishes. And the relleno wasnt battered and fried like the others Ive had. In spite of those things, I found it all to be quite tasty. Id go back again.

I give it a 3, only for the decor. The food was, ok. I find it was very salty. I got a tamale and an enchilada with rice and beans. The margaritas were very weak. The only drink they offer is a margarita. They dont have a full bar. The service was ok. I had to keep calling the waiter over. I got a sopapillia for desert. The first one was not fresh, it had been sitting so it became chewy. I sent it back and got a fresh one which was better but over cooked. We chose Cancun because the place down the road, "Margaritas" had bad reviews. We wont be going back.

Not very good. Have been there b4 but the food has gone down the last few times. After last night I wont be back. The tacos look like slop and very soggy bc they are in foil. Burritos are nasty and most other dishes look like stuff you would see on the show restaurant impossible. My 2yr old got a pizza off the kids menu and it looked like an uncooked piece of circular bread with cheese on it. I get its not Mexican food and on a kids menu but how hard can it be to make it fresh? Will not be back there again, no way.

Great atmosphere, and a massive list of affordable lunch specials. I had a platter which name a cant remember, that included grilled shrimp with queso sauce, tortillas, and greens with avacado along with rice. It was delicious and I couldnt believe the inexpensive price! Great atmosphere too. There is booth seating, and the table seating arrangements feature festive Mexicana chairs-- including a few Philadelphia Eagles themed ones. They should make more of these and put them up for sale!

Ive been here several times and I never had a problem until tonight. I placed an order for pickup and was told it would take 40 minutes for the order to be ready. I arrived 40 minutes after I placed my order and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my order to be brought out. I got home and my order was wrong, its not worth the aggravation of going back there to straighten it out. Unfortunately, I wont be returning again and will gladly take my business elsewhere.

Very polite service. Place was bright,colorful, & clean . Had a lunch special take-out. Only reason for a frown on value; could have had more meat. Food was fresh and well prepared. Other people I talked to while waiting all said they enjoyed there meals. Ill give more stars after a few more visits, which there will be. I would have liked to seen there kitchen, and I should have checked out the bathroom. Those are major tell tales of any restaurant.

Real real Mexican. Been all over the us all continental 48 states. This is authentic. Great service by host , waiter, and manager. Food was great. Rice was good too. And even the cheesecake. Drinks were on point. We went to their competitor margaritas yesterday... And they were disgusting. Bland food dry old rice had to track down waitress margarita resembled old dirty bath water... But this place is fantastic. Fair prices too.

We happen to go during dinner rush, so we waited maybe 30 mins or so for a table. It took a little for someone to come over to order drinks. Then after we had ordered we get told that half of our tables drink were unavailable. Fine. Then the food was brought out, one was missing, sides were wrong and everyones plate looked like they were made for kids. This was suppose to be an early mothers day dinner. Never again.

We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite before an event at Barnes & Nobles and I found Cancun online. The 3 of us were all very happy with our experience. Chips and salsa were tasty, soda was not watered down, service was efficient, food was tasty and of decent portion size. I hit the restroom before I left and it was clean and had a floral smell. We will definitely be going back again soon.

Staff was okay, not bad but not great. The food was good, again not bad but not great. The thing that stands out though is my husband doesnt eat red meat at all, by choice, and ordered a chicken burrito. He specifically checks his food to make sure there is no red meat or pork, and right in the middle of the burrito was a hunk of beef. For ethical or religious reasons thats a big problem.
