Went with family and overall experience was so-so. Staff is great.. food is good on few but not so great others.. its expensive for the food quality and taste. Tilapia was good.. chimichanga was not at all good and is sub par compared any mexican restaurant we tried so far.. it tasted microwaved / oven re-heated frozen chimichanga which we did not expect from a restaurant on dinner setting on that price. same is the case with kids chicken fingers.. although we can expect that it will be re-heated frozen fingers but its sub quality. Fajita was OK but again not great for the price. Atmosphere is good and better than expected.

I thought I wrote a review on this place. First time trying out this place on Friday (July 28th) and it was awesome !! The service was excellent, the host was very friendly, the waiter was great, the guacamole was fresh made to order in front of you, they ask want you want in it (tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeños, fresh squeezed lime, etc), the food was fresh, tasted delicious, and overall I enjoyed everything ! I will be going back soon since Im not far from this place.

BEWARE! Just ordered delivery from here tonight. They charged my card 4 times- about $160- for two meals and a kids chicken finger. They would not refund the money claiming they charged the card just once. I offered to show my bank statements and they still would not refund. I had to call my bank and dispute the charges. I would stay far far away but if you do decide to eat here use cash! Terrible business I will be contacting Better Business as well

The food is amazing, but the service can be hit or miss. Two times we have gone there and had to ask for more water two or three times before anybody brings it. The most recent time we finally went up to the hostess and asked for water and then someone brought some. The food is definitely worth it so we will come back, but we do hesitate sometimes because we know the service can be lacking.

As Mexican food is awful, honestly I prefer chipotle thousand times, a saucer $ 20.00 $ 16.50 rap soda $ 3.50 a dog ami I do not mind the price but k teden good service and food but would pay very badly, disappointed. This place has good vegetarian options.. We ordered a couple of vegetarian dishes, the veg chimichanga was delicious.. But the enchiladas wasnt that good, it came out bland and soggy.. The place doesnt serve alcohol but its BYOB (liquor store down the block)... There is some parking in the back.. The service was great and place was clean..

Dont waste your time. We ordered dinner for 5 to be delivered. First; they overcharged us 8.45 more than what the website says. Second; there is a 4 dollar delivery fee that is not on the website. Third; They got the order wrong for one of my guests. Big Fail...Sorry Mariachis, if the food was great I might cut you a brake,never again.

Very Mexican decorated! I love the chairs and table handmade imported from Mexico. Good Mexican food...fresh homemade( right in front of your eyes) guacamole. Staff was great ! Good atmosphere! A little expensive for the type of food but the good service compensate it. No 5 stars because has no bar...this is a BYOB Restaurant.

Great atmosphere. Good portions. Byob with multiple liquor stores within walking distance. The guacamole is the best Ive had outside of Mexico. Excluding a few bottles of wine, I just spent 100 bucks for 5 adults and 3 kids. You simply cant beat that.

A nice addition to the scene in downtown Metuchen, Marachi brings the goods if youre looking for authentic Oaxacan fare. Spicy, Tex-Mex it isnt, but the entrees are fresh and well-prepared. Service was fast and efficient.
