Eating here is one of the highlights of our trips to the beach. Most of the Hispanic population where we live is from Central America, so good Mexican food is very hard to find. The chiles rellenos here are the only decent ones Ive had on the east coast. Quesadillas are mundane, but the shrimp ones here are just in a different league. La Tonalteca has become very popular, so try to dine early or have lunch. Oh, and last trip we had lunch on our way out of town, most of us ordered the kids menus or lunch specials, and the bill for six people came to less than $50 before tip! And the service is great! If I won the lottery, Id try to get the owners to open a branch in our area.

One of the best places to eat in Rehoboth, hands down. The food is fantastic and it gets to your table so fast that you barely have time to try their amazing salsa. The servings are HUGE so I like to come for lunch, as the portions are much more manageable (I dont like to reheat their food). Its always crowded here and can get noisy but you wont notice once you start to eat!

Very crowded spot at dinner but no wait. Food was amazing but our waitress was a bit slow. She was a foreign student from Russia so the language barrier was pretty bad but she was trying her best. Large portions for what you pay for. Only 4 stars because the queso dip was probably out of a jar.

Atmosphere was great. Food was disappointing... Ordered guacamole as an app. and received a tiny bowl of guacamole paste... Nothing resembling a true Mexican guacamole.. food did not have taste. No sour cream or salsa accompanying main courses.. place was packed, but we will never be back.

Good Mexican food restaurant with full bar. Really cool hand carved and paintee tables and chairs in bright colors and scenes add to the ambiance. Servers are always quick and courteous and our large group is always seated quickly. The frozen toasted almond is delightful! Food is decent.

Im never certain about what is Authentic Mexican food, but my wife and I loved the food we got. By no means is this a disappointing place. Awesome salsa is a good sign of good Mexican. Plus there are great lunch specials that can get you two meals for about $15. You cant beat that.

First time here and I was not impressed at all. They got are food wrong 3 different time. There ground beef was not that good at all. I have been to many different Mexican place and I have to say this was the worsed one I have been to. I will never go back here again.

Really great festive colorful authentic Mexican restaurant. Food was amazing. Ask for the homemade green sauce, it was delicious. Tortilla shells were perfectly done. Lots of tables full of Mexican patrons so thats a good sign. Everything was great and inexpensive.

Cheap and fast. Not the best or most creative/authentic Mexican food in town (it ISA chain) but they are consistent. Good fast service and big margaritas! Great for families and groups, or quick dinner before the movies.
