If i could give this dump negative stars i would!!I ate dinner there last night and this most definately has to be the worst food and service I have gotten at ANY restaurant anywhere . I ordered steak and shrimp I asked the waiter who couldnt understand english let alone speak it , If I could switch the vegetables for a salad and his response was flat out NO you cannot the medium rare steak I asked for was VERY WELL done and over half of the steak was fat my stepdaughter got a taco salad and it was VERY SOGGY and the shell tasted like old dirty grease . Whatever you do DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY at this disgusting horrible so called mexican restaurant!!!!!! What a waste of $45.00!!!!

We love going to Los Potrillos! We always get prompt service and the food is always piping hot and tasty when it quickly arrives at the table. Chips are a little bland, but I love their salsa. I know it sounds weird, but they have some of the best sweet iced tea around, which isnt one of the main reasons I patronize this restaurant, but it helps when a restaurant is at the top of their iced tea game :) Ive never had a bad meal here and I love the queso fresco cheese they use in their dishes. One of our favorite Mexican restaurants around!

EXCELLENT! The staff are always friendly, helpful, and efficient. We have never had a bad experience here. The food is always good no matter what we order. The only negative for me is that I would rather not have a distracting TV screen in the area while Im eating such an otherwise great meal. I wonder if the negative reviews here werent written by competitors! The food at Los Potrillos is anything but bland and the portions anything but small. But....some people cant be pleased no matter what. And yes, this is my real name!

This place is god awful!!!!!! Went there last night waited almost an hour for my food. Finally got my food and the plate was extremely hot but my food was ice cold. How does that happen? They took it back and heated it up brought it back out and it was just disgusting. The food looked dry and old!!! They need to either step their game up or close down and let someone take over that knows how to run a good Mexican restaurant!!! That place has went down hill so bad!!!

For local fare the food is pretty good. The ambiance is nice and the seating is comfortable, and the service is friendly. There is a wide variety of food including many low cost options. There is a kids menu and it includes Mac and cheese which is just fabulous. They also offer free kids meals on Wednesday with purchase of a regular entree. They do serve alcohol, a bud bottle is 2.95 which isnt terrible.

This establishment is the absolute best in the area that I have visited. The food is amazing, my husband and I both love the place. The service is wonderful, we have been there several times and havent had a problem with the waiter yet. The margaritas are pretty good too. I would recommend this place to anyone...our favorite.

Had an amazing experience there! We have an energetic two year old. Sometimes restaurant can feel unwelcoming to families with small children. It was the absolute opposite. All the staff treated gave him high fives and generally were very attentive to our table. The food and beer were excellent too.

Food is incredible!... Cant believe its so affordable and the portions are so large! If you want to see for yourself, try the Mexican Burritos... One huge carnitas burrito and one huge carne asada burrito... More than enough for two people, and the flavor is fantastic!... You have to try this place.

I ordered polo asado and the chicken wasnt cooked, told them I wanted it well done, well they bring me the same plate of food, I was like omg really, so I ordered something different, because the chicken still wasnt cooked, the health department will hear about this one.

To me its a generic Mexican food place. Food is not bad but I was expecting something more. Service was ok. To me it was just another place to grab something to it. I will change my mind perhaps in the future if things there change a bit.

Wow... Dont trust the reviews. This is by far the most mediocre Mexican food in any area. The salsa is like ketchup, the guacamole and caso are weak and the portions are very small. If you want something bland give it a try.

Our family loves to eat here and try all the different foods. We love the Burrito Grande , the fajitas and the enchiladas. Prices are also pretty decent and they have some great specials on different nights.

Los Potrillos is your typical Mexican joint. Everything youd expect on the menu. Large portions, strong margaritas, and polite service...usually with a smile. Expect to spend approx $20 person for dinner.

Had a chorizo quesadilla and a shredded beef quesadilla with sour cream and guacamole. Delicious. Waitress was a little slow on the water refills but all in all a good experience.
