For all crying about bland flavor im sorry. Go back to New York city and get your fancy "chinese cuisine" you snob knob suckers. Place is not a dump. Great food, sorry if you order in and sit at the table while your food sits on the table for 30+min of course your food will be bland. Cooks do excellent job with getting food out fast and fresh, and everything ive ordered has been superb. Ive ate at over 35 chinese places from upstate New York to Florida, almost all over the east coast. Golden Wok rates top 3 and that is amazing. Anyone who thinks it is poor-fair can go suck down youre tea and crackers while you stick your nose so high up you choke on the smug entitlement you oh so deserve right? Please... if it is not good enough for you than there is something dearly incorrect with your genetics and or taste buds. Good day ;) Oh and delivery is always at least 30 min at most, even if you live 20 minutes away. Pretty damn amazing if you ask me, maybe if you tipped they wouldnt take an hour. Youre own damn fault, "Oh it took over an hour!!!!! hmmm last time I ordered I tipped zero dollars!!!! and I still live over 15 miles away from the Wok, hmmmm I guess gas is free?!?!?!?!" Youre food should have taken two hours fool.

Excellent overall--understood my order and replied in good English. Staff is attentive and knows their business. Phone was answered promptly. My take-out order was completed in 8 minutes at 4:30PM on Friday. Quart-size (large) servings range from $5.95 to $6.50 and you WILL have leftovers. Food was excellent quality. Plenty of seating, too, with spacious TABLES, not booths. Music was quiet, but loud enough to keep others conversations somewhat private. Large, very clean mens restroom. Sufficient parking. Nice corner location and easy-to-see sign. I navigated with Google maps on droid, though I recommend taking I-79 exiting 26th St. for out-of-town people. I have been to Chinese restaurants in many cities and this was the best one Ive seen in the lower price range--a good trade.

Food has always been good any time my mom has brought me here while I was home visiting. This time my mom tried the hibachi chicken though when she normally goes for the chicken and snow peas. She wasnt impressed with it, but she was also looking for something more along what you would get at Hibachi on 12th street. I tasted it and it was okay. I ordered the chicken and snow peas that she usually gets and it was very good. I usually get vegetable chow mei fun, which is always good. We also tried the crab rangoon. They were good as well. Every time we have gone though the wait staff was only sub par. Drinks will not get refilled and we have to ask for them to be refilled regularly. The food though is great.

I thought this was one of the worst Chinese Restaurants I have ever had food from. First the order takes an hour to arrive when they were 8 miles away. Also when they finally arrived the driver demanded more money because of how long the drive took? It was 8 miles and that should not take an hour to drive unless you drive 8mph. Finally, when I ate the food it tasted bland and none tasteful. The chicken did not look very appetizing either. Possibly the only good review I would say about the order is the rice, but that doesnt really mean anything in comparison to the $72 my friends and I spent ordering for ourselves. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Excellent local Chinese food. Egg rolls were crispy and exactly like egg rolls across America in these good, local places. Hot & Sour soup was truly hot and sour with a good mixture of veggies and pork - plus the perfect thick soup noodles are exactly like crispy soup noodles in good local Chinese restaurants everywhere. Ordered Sesame Noodles and they came with heaping of fresh veggies, plenty of sesame/peanut sauce on thick noodles - perfect. Also had two combo dinners; Shrimp with Snow Peas and Boneless Spare Ribs - both excellent and exactly what youd expect at good local Chinese restaurants across America.

Excellent service. Our waitress was wonderful. But what passes for chinese food here in Erie is pitiful. The egg rolls are bland, and the meat in my sweet and sour was very dry, plus there was no pineapple in the sauce. Being from a large metro area, with a large Chinese population, I have had some great meals at China Restaurants. Since this is considered by many Eries best Chinese Restaurant, it is the poster child for the sorry state of Chinese cuisine in Erie. At least everything wasnt drenched in brown gravy as seems to be the case in other spots in town.

One of Eries hidden treasures. The freshest of the fresh for Chinese food, a favorite for sure! Update, still cant say anything bad about his place. I live less than a mile from the restaurant, and when Im feeling lazy, I have it delivered & they deliver in less than 10 minutes! Incredible! Ive never had the driver ask for more than what the bill is and he is always friendly and courteous. I eat here at least once a week sometimes more and have yet to get bad food and or service. A++ Food and Service.

This restaurant has definitely went downhill. The food quality is very low and the portions are very skimpy. Years ago when Lynn first opened this restaurant it was a way different experience. Just seems like theyve cheapened things to get more profits. The Decour is very nice and the staff is very friendly and this is still one of the better Chinese restaurants in town but this used to be the go to spot and I know a lot of people that are a little disappointed in the quality

These guys are normally pretty great, however i ordered from them today 11/30/14 and had it delivered. The delivery was very fast, however the General Tsos chicken had barely any flavor and the sauce was extremely watery. not very thrilled considering they are a bit more expensive here. Normally the price is fine but this time the quality of food just wasnt up to the normal Chinese food standards. I probably wont order again for a while because of this.

Very fresh food, and unlike many Chinese places in Erie, not overly greasy. However, it is the blandest Chinese food I have ever eaten. At 53 yrs old I have had Chinese food across the east coast, had national Chinese and other Asian friends and room mates while living in NYC for over a decade. It tasted weak and without much flavor at all. Not what I wanted when i ordered Chinese food. Would not recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The food took over an hour to arrive, the food was the most dry Chinese I have ever eaten, they did not provide utensils for us to use, and when it did arrive the delivery man demanded more money beyond the normal tip because he had to drive "all the way out to us." (we were less then 8 miles away). never ordering there again and I hope anybody who reads this doesnt either.

I love the food at the Golden Wok its by far the best in Erie,PA!!!! Their general Tsos is the best flavor, and the crab rangoon (cheese wontons) are soooooooooooo good! Everytime I eat there the food is so fresh! At buffets the food sits there forever sometimes. The people are very nice! And the prices are very low. The cleanest restaurant I have been to. I wouldnt go anywhere else for Chinese food!
