On their website, the photos make it look like this is some kind of club, and I dont know why people are complaining about not having a buffet. Chens is a classy place. Go elsewhere if you want to peer through sneeze guards. I would describe Chens as a pretty laid-back place, with a great atmosphere, not too busy, and the BEST chinese food in the Cranberry area, by far. The portions are generous, and the quality is high. Coming here for dinner during the week, its usually pretty quiet, and were seated next to the aquariums built in as dividers. Totally cool! I only discovered this place 6 months ago, but it looks like they may even have outside seating, which I cant wait to try out!

I must say I really like Chinese food a lot! When one of my friend suggested to come dine here. It was the first time ive visited the place. I was looking forward to it. However, I was disappointed when I got my food. I got the sweet and sour pork and a side of steamed white rice. To be honest, there was nothing sweet or sour about the pork. Pretty tasteless food. I think the only thing from my meal that I enjoyed was my rice but I had to pour some soy sauce over it to give it a little taste to it. I dont think Ill be visiting here again or recommending this place to my friends. Not worth the money. Oh, and the staff was somewhat nice and couldnt look more lively and welcoming (sarcasim).

This place used to be called House of Chens now it is just called Chens. Their staff is okay they do a good job of making sure that your tables needs are meet but not always the most English-speaking. They used to have a fantastic buffet on Sundays however that is gone by the wayside. It might be back now but Im sure its not the same. The food is changed as well used to be in large family style portions and is now served by plate. They seem to have gone away from their family style Chinese restaurant ways trying to keep up with the more popular sushi bar style restaurants in a more nightclub decorated feel.

This was the most disappointing trip we have had to Chens! They do have the best general Taos chicken around! However, what they served us that they said was orange chicken, was the exact same as General Taos but they threw orange peels into the sauce. Strange. The waitress was... Not great! I had to go out to the front to ask for more rice, and she was nowhere to be found to ask about the orange chicken. Disappointing! Youve done better Chens!

When I want to really enjoy Chinese food, I go to Chens, and I order Empress Chicken. I have enjoyed many dishes, and many people I have taken there have enjoyed even more dishes, and we all agree: Chens is awesome!! I have worked in the area and have seen the restaurant grow and improve over the years. They always seem to be improving the building, the food, the staff, and services offered, including a bar, and entertainment.

Chens. Where to start! Chens has the best food around if you are looking for Asian Cuisine in the Cranberry Area. The menu is very large and provides you with options that you wouldnt find at the normal Asian restaurants. The staff are very friendly! The outdoor patio also offers a great atmosphere during the summer months. They also offer a koy pond outside, which give the little ones a fun experience.

I havent tasted the food yet but just ordered via telephone. For an egg roll gen tso beef and broccoli chicken lo mein and egg drop soup came to 71$..maybe its just me being used to chinese in nyc but hats crazy. I had to take off 3 of my items to bring it down just below 50$ dollars needless to say this will be the last time ordering from them

The staff is helpful, quick and polite. The restaurant is somewhat dated but clean and well lit. The food came out quickly and hot but the taste was not wonderful. We all finished all the food and took nothing home, but it just wasnt super. We had eaten here a couple of years ago and Im sure it was better than now. Not bad, just not that good,

Very good Chinese food that is definitely the best in the area. General Tsos is definitely their best sauce and I would definitely pay the extra buck for their white meat option. Portions are large and the service is friendly. The restaurant could use a remodel but a still a great place for speedy takeout.

The food was excellent. We had the fried wontons, sesame beef, and General Tsos chicken. The sesame beef was the hit of the night, surprisingly tender for the short amount of time in preparation. Friendly wait staff. Felt like a place for locals, even for those of us passing through.

My favorite restaurant around. The hot pot is exceptional with an amazing brown sauce. We came here at 7:30 on a Saturday night and had great service. We were seated right away and the food came hot and fast. In the words of the immortal Douglas McArthur, "We shall return!"

We stopped in here on a Tuesday afternoon for an early dinner. Food was superior quality. The crab rangoons were some of the best Ive had. Interior decor was a bit old but it was well maintained and clean. Loved all the fish tanks and the pond and waterfall at the entrance.

They have THE best general tsos I have ever eaten. This is not your typical quick order, fast food style Chinese restaurant. Youll want to go in and sit down and enjoy your meal. They have fantastic food and service here. Would recommend!

Ordered take out. General tsos. I disagree with it being the best. Its over priced, not that good. Fried rice" Horrible. Pretty bad when panda express blows there tsos and fried rice away. Also half the price. First time and last time.

It was clean enough, food was prepared from fresh ingredients, served in big portions by helpful friendly waitstaff and all fairly priced...Was it the epicurean delight of a lifetime? Heck no, but it is what it is so enjoy it!

We eat a lot of Chinese food, with our kids tou cant go wrong. The service at Chens is friendly and super quick. They skipped over us on a waiting list and gave us free drinka to make up for it, great hidden gem in Cranberry.

Always a great place -- lunch or dinner. Excellent staff and a great menu with real variety. The owner is on site and sees that every customer is happy. Locally owned and operated. Would highly recommend CHENS to anyone.

A favorite place for Chinese food for the 4 years we lived in the Pittsburgh area. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive. The quality of the food is far above average and they offer a few traditional options.

Haven gotten take out or eat in and always great dishes. My favorite, General Tsos all white meat. Love the atmosphere with the fish tanks. Staff always friendly. Definite return visits in my future.
