I have been coming here for years. I have brought family from other states who were very impressed and cant wait to return. Food to go, or dine in is always fantastic. Price is good for the amount of food you get as well. Staff are friendly, normally quick service even with crowds. Im not sure why people have left neg reviews...bc they didnt answer the phone or not authentic? If youve ever been there you know how great it is and they are busy. Before you leave a neg review look at what your saying and why. Its not mcdonalds where its getting your food wrong, people stand around, and it always cold. This is a great, authentic restaurant. I have been to several Mexican restaurants in different states PA, MD, SC and nothing compares to Montezumas!

My first visit to a Mexican restaurant in forever, and Im not a huge fan of spicy food, but this place was amazing! The people were friendly, and tolerated my difficulty with language barriers generously. Hubby was just as unadept with communication, but we managed to order with the help of our server. The food was served faster than I ever expected, and was delicious. Ive seen some comments about the cheesy decor, but I found it charming. The quality and quantity of food served for the price was pleasantly surprising. Well be going back!

Passing thru and hungry. Seldom does the mention of Mexican food inspires one to think of flavor and authenticity but montezuma achieves these notions without effort. Simply delicious. The chile verde pork was supple and tender. The carnitas with corn tacos was deelish. The tomatillo sauce was bursting with flavors and complexity while the pico de gallo was fresh and light. Definitely go if you are here in chambersberg.

The *worst* thing I could say about the place is that they are so popular, its a bit of a tight squeeze some nights. If youre looking for a quiet meal, go on the off times. Regardless, I have no idea if the food is authentic, but it is fantastic, inexpensive, and the staff is quite kind. They have been doing many improvements to the building, and it shows. Try the shredded beef tacos with a bit of guacamole on the side!

Montezumas on HWY 30, just a few miles away puts out a better experience, but neither of the restaurants is bad. (Hwy 30s building is a bit smaller, but they both seem pretty small during peak hours.) The food is consistently good, the prices are reasonable. Its BYOB for alcohol. There are only a few Mexican restaurants I would pick over Montezumas, but that doesnt mean these guys are bad -- far from it!

The food is not Mexican and it sucked ... Salsa has flour in it to be a filler and it all from cans and the meat is not Mexican .... it is very cheap food that has a high price!!! It is the same as taco Bell and cheaper.... but I have lived in Mexico and that is not true Mexican food and it is a false.... the people who work there are not nice and not good ..... do go there because it sucks

Their food is excellent BUT IF THEY WOULD ONLY ANSWER THE PHONE! Ive been trying to call in an order for the last 15 minutes and no one will pick up the phone. I finally called over the Lincoln Way location and they answered on the 2nd ring! If only the Wayne Ave location wasnt closer to where I work! They would be getting a lot more of our lunch business!

Definitely the fastest service and food I have ever had in any restaurant. The burrito Cancun was delicious and spicy. The only reason I gave them four stars is because I had a crazy messing menu, food stains, soda spills, the whole nine yards. Theres always room for improvement.

We have never been disappointed with the food here. We make a 45 minute drive to Montezumas when we want good Mexican. As with any restaurant there are going to be times when things simply dont go as you wish they would, but so far we have not had that problem.

Food here is always amazing. Only one time was there a problem with the server, she seemed very new and didnt know the menu and got quite a few orders wrong. They eventually sent someone else out to help her because she was too overwhelmed with our party of 7.

It was horrible. Rice had no flavor. Burrito was just cheese. Margarita was way too sweet. I watched the server tell a lady to lift her feet whilw they swept underneath at 8 mins past close. The only good thing was the salsa. I will NEVER come back.

Great food. However I advise against the chile con queso due to it not being a dip as we had thought. I also advise against the chile relleno because it was NOT traditionally made with fried egg batter instead it was covered in tortilla.

Solid place to eat. Food is prepared well and normally doesnt take too long to get to you. Ive never had a problem with the staff as they always seem to be friendly. If your ever in the mood for Mexican, give them a try.

Been a long time since I last went there. The food became very prefabricated as far as taste & quality. Service even for carry out was bad. Tacky decor as well. Ive certainly had way better Mexican food elsewhere!

Hands down the fastest service Ive ever received. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes! I also happened to stumble across the place on margarita Monday ($1.99!!!). My food was delicious. Highly recommended.

My favorite restaurant in all of Chambersburg. Always clean, staff is nice, reasonable prices. Probably not the most authentic, but the food is great. If you go, ordering the cheese dip is a must.

This place has AWESOME food! It is perhaps the best Mexican food Ive had. The chips and salsa are great...and the white queso is fabulous. Get a steak fajita burrito...it is fantastic!

Advertises they serve alcohol, they do not. Staff was very nice and friendly, but the food is just not very good compared to most Mexican restaurants I have been to in the area.

Possibly my favorite authentic Mexican restaurant. Service is always lightning fast, food is delicious and plentiful, and servers are friendly. Oh, and the prices are great!

Food was good, service struggled at beginning but more that made up for it with dinner delivery. Definitely worth going. They had a mariachi bad that was amazing.

Food is the same as every other Mexican chain and of poor quality. Decor is the same cheesy, stereotypical, loud stuff as well. Nothing special here.
