I visited La Ribera today with a friend. We enjoyed the Taco Tuesdays--great food for a great price. However, I felt the service lacking. Though our waitress was friendly enough, it often felt like we were more of a hindrance to her than anything else, like we were an item on a check-list for her to maintain. We asked for to-go cups for our beverages and thats exactly what she brought--just the cups. She didnt offer any refills which I kind of expected. She didnt ask if we wanted to order anything else other than the first time we placed our order (like additional tacos or dessert). Instead of being proactive in her customer service, it felt like she was merely being reactive. I work in the customer service industry myself so I understand that being busy can cause a person act more on an auto-pilot level. Perhaps, that was the case for her. Overall, she was pleasant; it just felt like she was only doing what she absolutely had to do and nothing more. So, Id recommend this place for the food and the prices--most definitely. But, I personally would rather go somewhere else and pay a bit more and have a better customer service experience than what I had today.

La Ribera Mexican Restaurant in Greenville, NC. Large portions- great staff and atmosphere. 30% off Saturday lunch entrees. Astrid is a great waitress. Ate 1$ tacos on Tuesday. Muy delicioso! Authentic Mexican ingredients in tacos. 3-3-2017 Leslie great, food excellent, price unbeatable! BTW, BEST ICED TEA IN TOWN.! 3-10-2017 Good service, best tea. Menu pictures inaccurate. 5-20-2017 Excellent server. Meat over cooked. Shrimp and veggies for fajitas, undercooked. Surprised at that . They were busy and maybe cooked too fast. Tasted better reheated at home next day. Adding 5th star. 8-1-2017- Rafaela was excellent. Taco Tuesday, fair pricing.

The unique daily specials are worth looking forward to and are exceptional deals. The customer service leaves a bit to be desired. Ive mainly ordered take out from this restaurant. Ordering over the phone can at times be difficult. I recently got the opportunity to eat in, and the customer service continues to leave the experience lacking. I did not order much, but my order some how was completely messed up. Since I didnt have much time, I ended up eating what they brought out but I wont be expecting much out of the customer service next time I visit.

My husband and I recently moved to Greenville and both love mexican food. Shortly after arriving we tried to find a good mexican restaurant. After trying a few others, La Ribera is now the only one we go to and we try to go weekly. The portion sizes are very generous. The prices are very reasonable. The food is delicious and the staff is very attentive. We have really enjoyed coming here and will continue to. Its a great restaurant all around. Definitely give it a try, you will be glad you did.

Best Mexican restaurant in Greenville. Prices are very affordable (99 cents tacos on Tuesday, 99 cents quesadillas on Wednesday, etc.) Best entree on the menu: Chicken Quesadilla Nortena. They have great salsa and chips that you can purchase in bulk very affordably. Also, they may be one of the only Mexican restaurants that serve you chips and salsa for take out orders!

La Ribera is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Greenville. They have a daily deal almost everyday, 99 cent tacos Tuesdays, 99 cent quesadillas on Wednesdays and all you can eat enchiladas on Saturdays. The food is good, and the service is quick, but the restaurant does not serve alcohol, so dont expect a margarita.

Food is great. Customer service sucks.if you are unable to put your order in online , then dont offer this service. Put my order in online, got confirmation. But when I went to pick up I was told , online doesnt work.. they didnt even bother to offer to help me, just let me walk ok the door. Poor customer service.

Taco Tuesdays for $0.99 tacos. The food is excellent for the price. Service is great and staff is very friendly. Inside is very clean and well decorated. They played classical music in this MEXICAN restaurant which I found strange but whatever. Overall: highly recommend and will be returning myself in the future.

The staff was really really nice and the food was delicious. My parents spent a good time talking with the manger and he was very kind and always had a big smile on his face. He also gave us two free tamales which was very generous! Did I mention the food was good as hell

Fun weekly specials bring me in different nights of the week. Good wait staff. I cant speak to the praise of the menu as I, as Ive said, only order the specials such as taco Tuesday and quesadilla Wednesday. But on the basis of just those two I do like the food here.

Fantastic food for my girlfriend and I, but unfortunately my water glass had lipstick on it. Im a male and do not wear lipstick. The waitress was rude about it when I brought it up to her and laughed about it with a co-worker.

Delicious food! This is one of the better, if not the best Mexican restaurant in Greenville. The restaurant itself was very clean and the wait staff was very courteous. I thought the prices were reasonable too.
