This used to be my one of my favorite places to eat, sadly not anymore. The food has been going downhill and is not what it used to be. During the last visit there, my family decided to eat lunch we usually eat dinner here, but we did late lunch early dinner since we were all hungry. During this time my 9 year old went and grabbed 2 crab legs and I mean 2 when we sat down and he was eating them the lady came back and then said we would be charged the dinner rate for him bc of the crab legs. I dont mind paying a higher rate for him to eat what he likes, but just alittle frustrating when one he is a child two he literally had 2 crab legs and three there was no signs or no one said anything like" we are switching over food this food is considered a dinner food, you may eat eat it but will be charged. Also I decided to get sushi and I got so embarrassed because as I was grabbing the sushi the lady was yelling at me and I was having a hard time understanding her, she was saying the sushi was a dinner item, but sushi was out during lunch I had already tried 1 other item from that area, she was so loud that other people were looking at me and watching. I then just said fine fine Ill pay dinner because I was so embarrassed and I wanted her to stop yelling at me and get my food and go. She didnt understand me it took me finding two different workers to finally work this out. Now I was fully embarrassed and they had caused a scene. I ate that plate, while I was eating I heard 4 workers laugh and 1 had pointed in my table direction, and they were speaking in another language. Which I felt they were speaking about me and my family. Which I find extremely rude and disrespectful. After that plate I just left, I felt so uncomfortable. And will not be returning! So basically I paid 5 extra for 2 pieces of sushi for myself and then another 4 for 2 crab legs for my son. Which I wouldnt have minded if they spoke to me respectful and kind and first. Then while I was getting my food I watched a lady use a spoon from another food, and the worker watched her do it, didnt say nothing and didnt clean the spoon or replace it, but just put it right back in the right dish. Which I find so wrong allergies, mixing ugh. So sad this place turned out this way. Very disappointing!

I had the lunch buffet on Saturday 29 October 2016 at 11AM. I was in Bethlehem to volunteer at the Alzheimers Walk at Steel Stacks and I knew about this fine restaurant from a previous visit back in November 2014. Located in a suburban strip mall, the Hibachi Grill has plenty of free parking. And it has plenty of seating too. This day was not over crowded which actually provided for a relaxing dining experience. The food was plentiful and hot. I dont go for the fried food, I go for seafood. There was shrimp at the salad bar, salmon and white fish are also included. The only thing I dont like is the orange yuk that is poured on the salmon which kills off the taste. The salmon is great once you soak up the added agent orange with a handful of napkins. The staff seemed friendly for a Chinese restaurant. The price is great and its Monday through Saturday. Sunday costs more. I visited their cross-town competitor a month ago and there they charge extra for both Saturday and Sunday. Not at Hibachi. Their competitor didnt even serve crab legs when I was there that Saturday but they charged me extra because it was Saturday. They play music like most restaurants but is was not loud so I can listen to my own mp3 player with no problem. Hibachi is the best around for value and the quality of food. Id come back more often but I live 40 miles away. Enjoy!

Its a typical Chinese buffet with so much food you dont know where to begin. They have sushi and a hibachi where you pick the items you want cooked up and they do it for you. Most items at this buffet arent as steaming hot as I prefer to prevent bacteria growth but if you choose food out of the trays at the bottom where the heat source is, they are usually up to temp there. Their sushi items seem ok but out of preference I avoid the items that dont have raw fish to avoid food illness as I dont know how they handle their food in the back. The food items are replaced fast and they have a nice selection of seafood including crab and crawfish which people seem to love. They have a lot of shrimp and chicken items and American fair. The desserts are good with 8 different types of hard ice cream, cakes, cookies and fruit. The servers are pretty good about clearing plates and refilling drinks and keeping the buffet clean of spilled food. They serve a nice selection of fish of salmon, bass and white fish but ruin them with some funky sauces. Its a decent buffet for the price, you just have to be smart about what you choose to avoid food illness as no restaurant is perfect.

Its a pretty greasy and always packed Chinese buffet, so why am I giving it 4 stars? It has a few features that make it stand out from the rest. The first and biggest issue is this is pretty much the only nearby Chinese buffet in Bethlehem proper. Hard Woks mysterious disappearance left us with this place. Its not bad, but I think Hard Wok was better. The sushi bar also sets it aside from other Chinese places. the amount of sushi they have is great, at least 30 different kinds at any given point and its free with the buffet. The quality isnt the kind youre going to get at a dedicated sushi place, but its still good the biggest flaw is its monopoly status. So many people get packed into there that its a madhouse, and because its a buffet you get all kinds of undesirables, especially for dinners on weekends and Fridays. This is less of a flaw with the restaurant itself and more to do with the guests. Lastly, the Lo Mein: I cant in good conscious recommend anyone get the Lo Mein. Its dry, mushy, and pretty horrible, and thats a shame.

Me and my father, have been going here for years. I swear we went almost every weekend especially for the crab legs (which is loved and popular by everyone i know. Now, the reason its a one star is because, they are doing this thing that if you get up and get crab legs, you have to walk back to the front, scale it and make sure it a pound or youre paying 5.99 for each pound. For all that ill go to the nearest food market and get a pound + and pay 7 -10 bucks and eat at home. Im sorry but im mot going back until it goes back to normal, attitudes change, or even if they just raise the price.

Hands down best buffet in the Lehigh Valley, great selection of food for all types of eaters BUT the staff is always the sour spot. Mediocre waiting staff and one in particular chef behind the hibachi grill with the worst attitude and demeanor Ive seen in awhile. Two cooks I see behind the grill one younger of Asian descent and one slightly older of Spanish descent. Older man is great, young man is a major eye sore to that area. I come frequently for the food but pray to god I dont encounter him or one of the pushy servers. A+ food, C- staffing.
