Are these people kidding about a good review at this place? Do not eat here if you value a clean place and decent food. I went there for the first time with my family and Ill never go back again. First, the atmosphere is mostly black minority and white trash tattooed women with biracial kids. I didnt have a problem with this because they were civilized. The problem is that the food was not available in the bins to take, because they were empty most of the time. The cook was busy cooking steaks, for a 10 minute wait, and ribs were not ready, and when they were ready, there was one rack, and they were not cut to take. The roast was not carved and no one was available to carve it. It was like waiting in a welfare relief line for food if you wanted any meat. Many of the food trays had little food in them, and were not replenished in any timely manner. The vegetables had too much sugar and salt added to them. I was surprised they had asparagus, which is in season now, but their asparagus was thinner than a string bean and of poor quality. The salad area was ok and food seemed fresh, although the meat pieces looked so artificially colored, it was scary. All I wanted was some fresh fruit, which looked water-logged, and the mixed fruit was something out of a can in over-saturated in liquid. The food plates were cracked and badly chipped on the rims. Dangerous and unsanitary. It wouldnt surprise me if this place had several health violations. It seemed that the people there were happy shoveling any type of food into themselves. It felt like a charity place in which to eat and the food was sub-standard. I guess with the added sugar and salt on everything, the poor quality of food is masked. Who knows what else they are adding. Bottom line: scary atmosphere, unsanitary, poor food quality, unavailable food, not worth the price or health risk.

As a bus driver, I frequent The Golden Corral quite often. Usually when groups request buffets or a place that can accommodate a large group of 50+, The Golden Corral is one the choices that come to mind depending on what part of the country Im in. On Sunday March 17, we drove out to this Golden Corral from Philly. The food and service at Golden Corral in the past has been good enough for me to attend on my on time and to recommend to friends. This location has changed my mind about that. We got there after 3, so the long line was expected due it being Sunday (many people dont cook on Sundays). After getting inside to get our food, there was no carved Salmon. The young lady serving the prime rib went to check. She told us it would be a few minutes. I went back and she said it still wasnt ready. The manager standing next to her now says 10 minutes. 10 minutes later it was still the same thing. Finally we just decided to just look and see instead of constantly going over there. After 15 minutes, I spoke to another manager Wallace. He said there was some there a few minutes ago, and it went quickly. I informed him that wasnt true because the young lady told us it still hadnt come and she said when it did, she would hold us some because we have been patiently waiting. We were now told 15 minutes. We finally left without it. In addition to that. My girlfriends raspberry ice tea taste like water. My lemonade taste like water. The fruit punch we substituted it for needed water. Our waitress was friendly and so was the cashiers. The staff was on their job but management clearly was not. You would think management would ensure that salmon and shrimp was as plentiful as the rib due to all of the advertising and commercials lately. Golden Corral taste better as you get to the Southern parts of the country. This one here on Street Rd is not recommended.

Visit date 12/3/16. Havent been here about a year and I dont ever remember spending $35 for me and my son for lunch. The prices are a bit expensive. It was around 1pm when we were there. I usually start off by getting a salad in which I didnt eat because the lettuce tasted as if there was some type of chemical/soap on it. That salad had me very hesitant to eat anything else but i gave it a try anyhow. My other choices were either very bland or overly salty. Needless to say i did not enjoy anything that I attempted to eat. My 13yr old son who eats about every 30 minutes at home barely ate anything as well.....My server was extremely nice. I even sat there an extra 20 minutes to give her a tip in which i didnt want to leave it on the table. She had disappeared from our area for a while i assumed she was on a break, she wasnt they moved her to another area. Even though they moved her when she had a free moment she came to check on us. Nadine gets 5 Stars from me. Food alone I wont be back.

First time there while visiting PA. People were rude. Never been to one where you stand behind a chain so not knowing we spun latched the chain as we were the first to use that line. When we were approached by a short really short blonde who I assume was the manager who rudely told me to get behind the chain and walked away then another waitress came over just pointing her finger and said there..... where the short woman was standing. Our waitress was nice .... the cook behind the glass was issuing steak and shrimp. My husband asked for another shrimp skewer and was told NO. You can only have 2. Thought this was an all u can eat buffet. We will never return. We dont spend 35.00 for 2 buffet to be treated like that. We will never return

I love Golden Corrals, but this one was the pits.... now maybe because it was slammed was the reason but the food sucked. It was prime rib night, the prime was gray in color and dry as a bone, totally overcooked and if that were not bad enough when I asked for slice of that wonderful gray meat... Cinderella looked at me like as if taking the time to cut that will make him late for the big dance. Sad to say between the kids running amok, and the adults that seem to think that the line always starts in front of you, it was a lame experience I might give them one more try on a slow night, on the other hand maybe not... Its a bit much to fight hand to hand combat to eat so-so food.

WOW, what a lousey place to eat !!! Nothing like tough shoe leather steak, dried out baked potatoes and Greasy tasteless food This place is BAD... Servers are just about useless takes 20 min to get a soda refill, plates are not removed from table, and on-top of all this my waitress got mad because I didnt tip her well when it takes a half hour to remove a plate and refill my soda after youve walked by it 10 times you get nothing !!! How about I get my own soda and Ill remove my plate and you give me back $5.00 Do yourself a favor pass this dump buy !! $16.00 for jackass food and lousey service ...
