I have been seeing this restaurant the past few years when I have been in Wildwood and thought I would have to try them out when in town more than just a few hours. The chance came this week so I called to be sure they were open through the week and not just the weekend and was glad when told that they were. As I walked in I was greeted by a young lady with a nice smile who seated me then another who asked what I would like to drink. I then went up to see what there was but here is where my 3 star rating comes from, it did not seem as though there were as many choices as other buffet restaurants offer but I will say that the taste of the sausage was better than a lot of the others. The eggs of course were just the premixed scrambled some having meat and vegetables mixed in but nothing to make you want more. The French toast was good although it was a little sloppy in the pan and rather than being laid out in nice rows was just put in haphazardly. I might come back if the opportunity arises but will probably check out some others first.

I was on vacation in Ocean City with my family this weekend and we were looking for a great buffet restaraunt to have dinner. Well, let me tell you the food at Red Oak was terrible! They had one buffet for about 200 people. I have been to plenty of buffets and this was more like a cafeteria. I think they should change the name. The owner needs to visit some buffets around the country, so he can see what a real buffet is! The line was way in the back, the owner was very rude and ignorant when we told him we was not satisfied with this restaurant and we would like to leave. We offered to pay for the drinks, but he told us we can leave but we have to pay for the whole ticket. so we stayed and made the best out of a bad mess. I dont know where he is from, but he doesnt know anything about customer service! All he really cared about was, he was going to make some money off of us eating there. I wouldnt recommend this to a dog! Beware! Please check out the buffet before you actually sit down to eat, there is a better one down the street.

We are not food snobs so I foolishly ignored the reviews here. Im not sure how there seemingly are no decent restaurants in the Wildwood area and this establishment is definitely no exception. If you are reading reviews to find an edible meal, do yourself a favor and keep looking. Reasons... 1 fish was nasty, I worried all night about getting food poisoning from the couple bites I took off the "fish" I put in my plate. 2 chicken fingers and wings were gross and the sauce was basically colored water. 3 clam chowder was broth. 4 I would not be able to comment about the roast beef station because there wasnt anyone manning it the entire time we were there. 5 Other foods that were disgusting were sausage, meatballs, and linguini with clam sauce. The only thing that we found that was edible was the fried shrimp which was basically a big piece of fried breading. All in all, one of the worst meals Ive ever had. And a waste of $15. Go somewhere else! Trust the reviews!

Waste of $13. Not much of a variety . Undercooked pasta for pasta salad .everything was by the door.Went with five other people and we all did not even finish the first plate. Nothing had any flavor. Salt didnt even help.The ribs were ok a little on the tough side. Nothing was really hot, more like warm. The desert tasted really artificial and old. I mostly ate the rolls and fried shrimp (which was probably prepackaged ). I guess if you are over a certain age i.e 70 and white (not trying to be racist) then this is the place. Other than that stay away. My friend ended up with the bubble guts No taste Artificial Prepackaged Frozen Salt,pepper, garlic,red pepper, and basil goes a long way Red Oak diner

I dont know if its just me or maybe I wasnt treated like the other customers. I asked for a refill on my drink.. waited for over 5 minutes as the waitress served others. Then I watch the waitresses ask everyone else was everything ok at their table.. never asked me and my children. We were the only black people in the restaurant at the time. Not tryna pull the race card but thats how I felt. Not once had I been asked was everything ok as I watch them ask everyone else. She came to my table twice to collect empty plates. Then came and put my check on the table and said "pay when youre ready." I would never come here again. Btw.. food was ok.. I had better.

Breakfast there is delicious, but dinner...not so much! The food was dry and tasteless and not all off of the food was warm/hot. You can get a take out box for $14 and they say you can fill it with whatever you want, but be damn sure that theyll stop you and embarrass you in front of the whole restaurant and tell you youve taken too much even after they told you you can fill it up! Also, I would check your salt and pepper before using it, it looks like there is rice in it... at least I hope its rice. If you going to go there I would suggest only going there for breakfast and breakfast only!

This place is horrible so horrible! I had dinner w/ my woman and two kids paying 13.99 per adult thinking drinks were included nope they charge you separate. Everything on the buffet was dry I mean dry not worth no 14.00 anywhere else I would of ate more than one plate thats all I ate here.Not something I would recommend to anybody BC I would be embarrassed to.Never going back here sorry it isnt worth my hard worked money.Everything sucked so bad so horrible.

Horrible waste of money. I tried at least 6 options at the buffet and all were bland and discusting. Owner / manager working was awkward and asked WAY to many questions. I paid 70 bucks for my kids to eat frys and drink a Sprite which was definitely not real Sprite but advertised and sold at a true Coca Cola product. Ive never left a review anywhere before so this should tell you how crappy my experience was. Dont go!!!!!

This place is HORRIBLE!! Went here with my family on our vacation and the food was NASTY. Nasty n too expensive for the price it came up to 62 dollars. The restaurant only had a lit bit of food they didnt even have ice cream . Then the waitress was rude and was reaching over our food while we were eating !!! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL !!! Dont eat here its a waste of your money

For the price.....Its ok. The waitresses are very good at their job. HOWEVER, theres only one buffet for all customers. Nobody was at the entrance to greet us & seat us. Big drawback was the line goes all the way to the back & majority of the food is mediocre. The atmosphere is pleasant but make sure not to bring your mother in law here because she will NOT BE IMPRESSED WITH YOU PAL.
