08/01/17: 4.5 out of 5 - Consistently good, and with better service this time around. If you ever get a chance, try the Shroom! It is fantastically delicious. Another slice that was new to me and quite good was the Pulled Pork slice called "Winter is Coming". This place keeps up with great tasting pizzas. 04/15/17: 4.5 out of 5 - The weather was great today, so a lot of yard work was accomplished. Therefore, we just felt like pizza. To our surprise, the menu has expanded! Ratings dropped a bit today due to the lack of cleanliness. Staff needs to keep the tables clean! 02/15/17: 5.0 out 5 - Its been awhile but the pizzas, beers, and service are still superb. Always happy to come here to enjoy some down time. 10/03/16: 5.0 out 5.0 - Came here for lunch. The place was quiet, but busy. Service was good and the pizza (two slices) was really, really good today. It felt good to sit, watch some golf while eating, and see the place mellow out. Just something different... enjoyable. 09/20/16: 4.5 out of 5 - Still great pizza! However, service could have been a bit better, but it was late so it could have been any number of issues. But, still a good place for good-to-great pizza by the slice. 05/26/16: 5 out of 5 - One of the favorites "go to" locales with my Wednesday night run group for pizza by the slice and cold beer. This place in Woodstock has great pizza selections, as well as other menu items, ample seating, friendly service and clean bathrooms (you all know a clean bathroom makes a huge difference). Definitely worth a try once and decide for yourself. I know Ill be going back for more.

Really friendly and welcoming staff. Great food, substantial portions at a reasonable price. Just moved into the neighborhood and found this place while looking for a good spot to watch the Blazers games-- its a great spot. Customers were all into the game and it felt like hanging out in your living room with friends. I had the prime rib sandwich which was really tasty. My friends split an enormous pizza that they call "the whole hog" because its loaded with meat-- quality meat too, really excellent sausage. Being from NY I had to try it. The crust was excellent as were all of the toppings. The sauce was just OK-- good oregano flavor, but otherwise a bit too bland with too much of a tomato paste flavor... but as you know, we New Yorkers are snobs about our pizza. I did like it enough that Ill probably order it in the future though.

We ate at Pizza Roma for the first time this week, and it surely will not be the last. In the age of same ol, same ol pizza, the Pizza Roma food was outstanding! Every bite was a "wow, this is really good!" bite. And the staff was friendly and helpful. With a large selection of beer on tap, when we asked about one beer, we were given a taste sample. And with so much to choose from on the menu, the kitchen was happy to accomidate our request for 1/2 or two flavor toppings. And Mom loved the crust...I could tell because she said so at least a half dozen times. And the diining space was spacious, airy., and comfortable. A great time was had by all in our party and we will surely return!

Excellent delivery service, excellent phone ordering process, superlative crust on par with some of the best in Portland, which are on par with NYC pizza. Middling sauce, lame cheese, poor choice of topping ingredients... these detract from an otherwise amazing crust. Their crust is so damn good that it overrides the low-quality toppings. I will still order from them again and did I mention their service is top notch? Glad these guys are nearby but I wish they would upgrade their sauce and cheese. Decor above is actually an N/A since I ordered delivery, but I didnt want to ding them for something I didnt experience.

I went there to fix a car I asked if pizza was part of the deal she said sure and it was the best pizza she ever had ! Not really! I can name a dozen places that do have better pizza including dominoes pan pizza. The pizza was thin and greesy if I had a paper towel it would take two per slice to remove excess oil one slice was pepperoni one was bacon and pineapple they both kinda tasted the same I would say overall 4 they sell beer maybe after a few beers 6 really not that great if it is a first date you will be able to remember it by how awful that pizza was!

I love this pizza joint. Its divided into two sections that you have to go outside to get to the other. One side is the main dining area with all the delicious pizzas to choose from. Lots of seating and light, this is the "family" side. The other side is the sports bar side. Huge projector screen when the big games are on. Lots of big screens for all kinds of sports. Good selection of beer and liquor. Oh, and their pizza is awesome. New York style with thin crust and quality toppings.

When Im in Portland to visit family and friends,I found the Roma pizza to be an excellent place to enjoy both pizza and sports, especially during football on Saturday. The pizza slices are my favorite, but you cant go wrong with anything they serve.Plenty of flat screens around the place to watch the games make for great viewing. The service was good, and I recommend the Roma for a return visit any time.

They kept burning slices and pizzas. It took 45 minutes to an hour to get our food and we got there before a rush. They burned one of our pizzas (of course the one the kids ordered) so had to wait longer. I know mistakes happen, but I overheard them telling multiple customers they had to re cook slices because they were burnt. The staff was great and friendly, just had a hard time with the oven

Nice local environment, good drink selection, but not for those who are spoiled and used to quality food products. Several years ago I went and did not like it. Last night I remembered why: I got mouth sores from the GF pizza (some preservatives do that) and even my 10 year old made a comment because she had diarrhea soon afterward; bummer.

First night in Portland visiting family, exhausted from my travels, Pizza Roma was just what I needed. Happy lively (but not chaotic) environment, very nice staff, and excellent Pizza! Im Italian from the east, its different than what Im used to but its made with pride and solid ingredients. Ill go again...maybe tonight for Happy Hour!

Dont waste your time and money here unless you want you want a nostalgic and stomach upsetting stroll through memory lane of your high school cafeteria pizza. Honestly there are way better pizza places in Portland than here. Dominos is better, little Cesars is better. Go to sizzle pie, go to black bird, just not here.
