There are many reasons that a business might choose to be cash only. Often cited would be the fact that participation in the credit card systems, while convenient, constitutes a contribution to a coercive system of financial monopoly. The more money we keep out of the world-around-credit-card-company-finance-networks the better. Did you know that almost two TRILLION dollars of capital is shunted around the world each day? Much of that is performed by the financial institutions which back the credit cards and systems. This money moves around exploiting weaknesses and vulnerabilities of local economies, only to be shifted somewhere else to do the same. Using a card while trying to buy locally is a bit of a contradiction, especially if it is not issued by a truley local Credit Union or Bank. Carry cash, its a survival technique.

After it was proclaimed by Arthur on the Biggest Loser as "Best Pizza in SE Portland", I had to try it. It was delicious, though the owners came off as a little grumpy. If youre looking for greasy, this is indeed your best option in SE Portland. And cheap too! Just beware that their prices are about 10% lower if youre picking up so "Free Delivery" is completely misleading.

I have to say I have been eating this pizza for minimum of 15 years. I only have the chance to eat when visiting my mom now tho. Thin, crisp and flavorful crust. Cash payment method has been a problem in the past but I just make sure I have cash, worth it to me. We call them the Pizza Nazis - akin to Seinfeld Soup Nazi..................we love this pizza!

I love this pizza. Deck ovens make the crust so crispy. The pizza can be hit or miss with quality of toppings, however there are plenty of toppings. Its cheap and its locally owned. I usually get Canadian bacon, pineapple, mushrooms, olives, and crispy bacon! I would say that it gets a 8 out of 10 for overall pizzaliciousness!

Ill never try their pizza. What a waste to be cash only in this day and age when you can charge a quarter to park in this town. Do they think its quaint? Its silly - just eat the minor charge and move into the modern era. Ill stick to other local businesses that actually operate like a business, not a historical relic.

I have been going to this place for 20 years and I love it! The woman with the blonde hair can use an attitude adjustment but the man who owns the restraunt is a really good guy! The reason that they only take cash is because they have been screwed over too many times with checks! They have amazing pizza!

I had a very good review for here previously, until we ordered a pizza, and the woman that answered was super rude when we ordered and when we picked up and they just increased prices. The pizza was good, but good pizza minus the attitude is easy to come by at a better or similar price.

Pizza is good, prices are decent. Where can you get a decent large pie for under $10 in SE anymore though? RIP rovente. Cant complain about the decor, its a hole in the wall where you pay cash and pick up your order. If you want atmosphere, go to Belmont or Hawthorne.

We have been ordering from this place for over 10 years. Its remains inexpensive and the pizza is delicious! I have never regretted ordering from here. Lots of more trendy pizza places have come and gone from SE but this one is an institution and worth the trip.

Been ordering delivery from here for years. Its truly a mom and pop, which I adore. Mom delivers and pop makes the pizza. Best next day cold pizza in the world!!!

Dont order veggie here. The spinach was frozen and the tomatoes were not good either. My guess is that meat pizzas are better.
