Im reluctantly writing this review because I love this place and I love their pizza, but people looking to order to go from this restaurant need to know. I live right down the street from the restaurant and often call in pizzas to go. The last couple time I have called in, they say the pizza will be ready anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Totally fine... totally normal. Two visits ago: I called in, and the lady said the pizza will be ready in 45 minutes. I showed up 55 minutes after calling in (pizza should be ready). The lady said, "oh it will just be a couple more minutes." Totally fine. She comes back about 10 minutes later and asks me if I wanted a drink. Thinking that was odd because my pizza should have been ready about 20 minutes prior, I said no thank you. Fast-forward another 30 minutes and I am still waiting for a pizza to show up. She continually promised it would only be "a couple more minutes." I ended up getting my pizza over an hour later AFTER showing up to the place. Last nights visit: I called in and the lady said it would be ready in 40 minutes. I said on the phone to the lady, "I do not mean to be rude in anyway, but will it really be ready in 40 minutes? I am totally fine waiting longer, I just dont want to show up and have to wait a long time like I did last time. She assured me that it would be ready in 40 minutes. I showed up 50 minutes later, and the pizza was not ready. I proceeded to wait another 15-20 minutes before the pizza came out. Whats funny about the whole experience is that the pizza was over-cooked, too. Advice to management: PLEASE. Be more accurate with your estimations. Add 20-30 minutes to all call-in times just to be safe. People are totally fine with waiting an additional 20 minutes for their food.. just let them know. The hit of knowing you have to wait longer from the get-go is much less annoying than over-promising and under-delivering.

The owners of this establishment appear to believe that they have enough business to treat customers poorly and insult them on popular rating sites. While they are sadly not the only ones in Portland with poor service and who dont allow multiple checks for large parties or other completely reasonable things, they are my single worst such experience in over 15 years of living in the Portland area. The pizza and cocktails are quite good, if a bit overpriced (another thing that they sadly have in common with a lot of other Portland restaurants), but can get the same or better at other local places for the same price or less. Those places are always crowded, unlike this place. I guess I know why now. Now well see if the owners come after me on this forum like they came after other members of our party who complained about their service online.

Great pizza, great outdoor seating. Too expensive. Service is mediocre at best, they really seem more interested in doing things in ways that work for them, than in doing what works for customers. For example, the fact that they charge the same price for half-pizza toppings as for full pizza toppings. So if you get a pie with 2 halves and each have 3 toppings, instead of charging you $2 x 3 = $6 for the three total toppings, they charge you $2 x 6 = $12 for toppings on top of the pie price. Thats just nuts.

The pizza was decent not great and definitely not the best in Portland. I picked up my pizza and by the time i got it home it was cold i live 1 mile away which leads me to believe my pizza was done way before the 35 minutes they told me to pick it up in. The toppings were skimpy alot of money for the food. Id rather go to Rudys gourmet pizza , bridge city pizza , home town pizza or pizza roma all of which in my opinion are better.

Hipstery pizza place with meh pizza and high prices. If you like the Portlandian dining experience like the NY Times does, youll probably like it. If you like the classic Portland dining experience (quality food, cheap, friendly, neighborhoody, unpretentious) then head a block down the street to the Gladstone St Pub for burgers or up to 45th & Powell to Rudys for pizza.

My favorite pizza in town. Incredible staff, amazing service. The exception is the gentleman who works there, Im not sure his name but he has been inappropriate with my wife in saying he wished he could go home and share her pizza with her. Otherwise I love the place, I even have their t-shirt!

The pizza tasted above average, but my overall impression was that it was expensive for the amount of food they gave me. I ordered sausage, black olives, and mushrooms, and there were about 3 pieces of tiny sausage per piece. I was sad when I opened the box.

Good pizza decent atmosphere but too expensive. Can get great food many places for a better price that is locally grown and organic. Also, owners act like they are doing you a favor even giving you the time of day.

Im relatively new to PDX, but this is my favorite pizza here. Its a great foldable thin crust pie with delicious toppings. Not a lot of frills but you dont need them when the za is so delicious.

This is easily the best pizza I have had in Portland. The decor is super cool and the staff are all great at giving service. I mostly enjoy the st. Pizza lounge side.

Best to-go pizza in Portland...east coast-style chewy crust, proper (light) amount of toppings, good beer selection. I do wish they had more salad options

They have a good pie without all the hassles and hype. Great outdoor seating in the back. Totally recommended for people looking for East Coast pizza.

Second time eating here. Their pizza is superior to anything else in Portland and I dont say that lightly. Lovely staff and a great bar as well.
