One star: Because Zero stars is not an option... Why Id give it a zero:1) When we first entered the restaurant and were taken to an open table, my fiancé and I could overhear the wait staff speaking with a nearby table (teen waiter, teen patrons) about how she "kept another girl from getting a job there because she didnt like her.." EXTREMELY unprofessional to have discussions like that in front of other patrons...2) One of the wait staff brought chips and salsa. But did not even greet us or say a word. Just dropped the chips and salsa off as if it were a spy game. As if her getting seen or noticed wouldve meant she failed in some way.3) More than ten minutes passed between the arrival of chips and the arrival of our actual waitress. Which meant that the first ten minutes went without drinks.4) When we finally did get our drinks, the waitress forgot to bring two of the drinks we had asked for. (We just lived with the outcome, because our experience thus far had been so bad we just wanted to get our food and get the hell out of there.)5) Our food arrived quickly after ordering, which with what we ordered (Carne Asade Burrito, Beef Taco Salad) that it meant the food was most certainly cooked before we even ordered it. The steak in the carne asada was so dry, so fatty, so CHEAP that we picked out the meat entirely and ate around it. The taco salad beef was so greasy, that had it not been in a taco salad shell (which absorbed most the grease and turned to mush) that it wouldnt have been edible.6) After we "ate" and were ready to leave, it took so long to get the bill, that I took our two children to the car. A five year old, and a less than one year old. On the way out, I bumped into a stand that sent a collection of paper advertisements flying. These sorts of things happen, but what makes it REALLY bad, is that the three teenage/young twenty something employees standing at the host counter less than four feet away STOOD AND WATCHED as I tried to pick up the papers, wrangle a five year old, and hold our one year old. No attempt to help me pick up, no attempts to open the doors for me, no nothing. Just standing there GAWKING.We will never EVER go back to this place and we never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Absolutely the very best sit down Mexican restaurant in South Hill. Great service, good food, easy on the prices. Its the only medical restaurant that my family will go sit down at and have dinner. Cadillac margaritas are awesome! Got to edit - Mi Tres now completely disappoints. Took my family of four there tonight for dinner. Waited a bit over an hour for our meal while others around us that came in after were served. Nothing complicated about our meals, two entrees and an appetizer. While we waited we had two beers and a margarita. Finally, very hungry and exasperated that it seemed everyone else was getting their food except us, we asked for our check. Im not usually a jerk, and totally get when the restaurant is busy - but others around us had about a 30 minute wait for their food while ours approached an hour. The server didnt seem to really care, nor did she seem surprised when I told her we were and and wanted my check. The restaurant charged us for every drink we had, and the soda our boy had as well. We frequent here about twice a month - Im going to give this joint a bit before I consider coming back.

My wife and I go here all the time... When Fidel the bartender worked there the drinks were always strong, definitely got our moneys worth. The fajitas are great, I LOVE their salsa (spicy with good flavor) their tortilla soup is great, soft tacos are good... take out is decent. I like it for what it is, a casual after work dinner and drinks type of place. If I can give them any advice it would be this... Pick up your service a notch or two because a lot more restraunts are coming into the S. Hill area and people now have a lot more to choose from then they did a few years ago.

My boyfriend occationally stops here because they do have pretty inexpensive beer during happy hour. i met up with him and ordered fajitas. Well we were sitting and talking as a group when i realized that I had ordered my food more than a half an hour before. I asked and they said it was coming. 15 minutes later i told them to just cancel and it magically appeared. I was with a group with guys who were able to flag down the female server with no problem. I on the other had to get up and walk to the bar in order to get a drink. They still go back for $2.00 beers, but I wont be

Not impressed. The food was good, but not exceptional. Only worth it if ordering a special. Also, we had a very rude waiter. My husband and I arrived first to order food and drinks and the waiter continually cut me off where I couldnt get my whole order in. I ordered a margarita, but before I could tell him on the rocks with sugar on the rim, he came back with a regular blended one. Then a friend arrived just to have a drink since they already had dinner and our waiter called him a "cheap bastard". I guess he didnt realize our friend is fluent in spanish.

This place used to be great. Then they changed. Once our soup tasted like plain water in bowl. It was so disgusting we sent back and did not want any replacement. Zero, I mean ZERO flavor. Another time tried something with steak and also zero flavor. Never knew steak could taste so bland but they found a way. 3rd time tried again because they once were very good but had uncooked ground beef. Will not be back until they show signs of new management and or cooks.

Great customer right when me and my fiance walked in. Also had chips salsa and water with in seconds of being seated..and our waiter Ramiro was amazing as well..he always kept our drinks topped off also had great reconditioned through out the whole menu..all in all MIS TRES AMIGOS deserves 5 stars for customer satisfaction and great environment to dine. KEEP in mind really healthy portions definitely worth every penny.. thank you Ramiro and Mis Tres Amigos!

Dont usually write reviews but I have to say Im pretty sad. Ordered take out at 10:30pm.. picked up at 10:40pm Ate by 10:47pm ate the tacos were soggy. Total came out to about 22 bucks and I could have had better quality at taco Bell. Wait staff upfront was awesome. Funny, cute and made me laugh. I understand I was about 30 minutes to close but I expect hot food when I order togo, especially with given time frame above. Step your game up guys

So weird...got the fish tacos. Served w/ red cabbage, white sticky rice that had carrots & peas in it & whole beans. Now being from so cal it was a bit of a culture shock considering everything down there is served with green cabbage, refried beans & spanish rice. Not very tastey. Husband had flautas, said chicken was chewy.

This place sucks. Food tastes muchy an salty. Decor is dark (prob so you cant really see the food). The host looked as though she should be working in another industry an the wait staff was extremly rude, uncaring, and just down right childish. Do not go here to have Mexican cause the food is far north of the boarder.
