I cant find any redeeming quality about this location mcmin. the food is horrible and overpriced. service was horrible. atmosphere was on par qith a dennys. not sure what the hook is here. I am a fan of other locations food and services. we ordered the guacamole burger- very measly poor quality guacamole overcooked meat dry bread. Thai bowl- tasted like canned black beans soggy rice and mango salsa from a can. two main course salads- both were side salad sized. drinks- super weak and the cider came in little 12 oz cups. Irish coffee for $8 was very weak and the whipped cream was melted into the drink. service- our server removed our food menus before we had ordered and kept on insisting that we get some tater tots. overall the weakest most expensive McMinn experience ever.

Google asks me for a review each time I wait for Bus 8 on NE 15th Avenue and Broadway. The bus stop shelter #6843 is okay, but in the afternoon youre blinded by the setting sun. The tree is nice in the summertime for extra shade. Most people waiting for Bus 8 keep to themselves with only a few drunken or crazy people talking to themselves, and an occasional panhandler will hit you up for some spare change. Beware of rush hour, youll have to wait for a second bus because the first is always overcrowded from downtown commuters. You can kill time at Peets, Starbucks, Aztec Willie or McMenamins while waiting for rush hour to settle down, should you have time.

I dont go to the Lloyd district a lot, but when I do I try to stop off at Broadway for a pint. My main reason for going to Lloyd is every once in awhile on a rainy afternoon I like to go hang out there and check out the shops. I also usually end up spending hours at the bookstore. Ive been coming here since I was a child, and I just find the whole area comforting. So, I always try to include a trip to the Broadway for Happy Hour. Parking is often a little hard to find at Lloyd, but if youre already parked at the mall it is just a few blocks away. The service is always great and the food and beers are McMenamins dependable.

Im from Las Vegas and dining in Vegas is 2nd to none. This place has a nice dark and cozy ambiance. I sat at the bar and bartender was friendly and knowledgeable on drinks and food. Food menu is simple and has vegan options. For dinner bartender recommended Dantes chicken sandwich and Cajun tots. Both good and cooked perfectly. On drinks I ordered a local Oregon micro pilsner called Crux Pilz. Its a light crisp tasting pilsner on draft! Great place to visit alone, with friends or with a date. I highly recommend. Cheers!

I had a gift card to use up. If i didnt I would not go here. You know Mcmenamins food, I know Mcmenamins food. It is plain, uninspired pub faire. I went with a burger. The meat was drrrrry. It looked preformed and previously frozen. Passable as a pub burger I suppose. The service was quick and friendly which made the meal a lot more enjoyable. The view over Broadway was nice and made it seem a bit more classy. If you have a McMenamins gift card to use then McMenamins is the right place for you!

Great place to relax and have a beer and burger. The Rootbeer was also loved by my group. Decor is relaxing. They accommodated a large group with no hassle. Menu is identical to other McMenamins without anything to make it unique for this location. Loyd Center shopping is close by. Edit: taking review down a star since our group was pretty much done eating before the pre-schooler got his food. Thats pretty mean.

The food wasnt that great and I ordered a burger and was asked if I wanted fries, tots, salad, or soup so I asked for salad and was charged an extra dollar? Dont offer salad with a burger if it doesnt come with it and a dollar isnt a big deal the big deal is the fat it wasnt mentioned and then placed on the bill and youve raised the prices of your burgers. The food doesnt add up to the prices you ask for the food.

Nice place. Great ambiance. I got a baked macaroni and cheese to go. it came in a box the size of what my Thai food side salad comes in...definitely looked like a side dish rather than an entree.. but it was almost ten bucks. Judging by the price and size, I thought it would at least be high quality, but it was mushy and bland. Stick with the tots and beer.

Bartender was very attentive and informative. The waitress with the long skirt was obviously inconsiderate. She rolled her eyes at my boy friend, when he said he was just waiting for someone, and we saw her get distraught after an elderly customer just asked for water with no ice, before ordering. Not a very welcoming attitude.

Each McMenamins has its own flair, which I love. Beer, booze, cider and food are always above average- the main draw of the Broadway Pub is the Old English atmosphere, and lovely covered second floor patio overlooking the Lloyd area. Better beer and food certainly exist in the world, but not as consistently as at Mcmenamins!

We did stop at McMenamins Broadway Pub. The porter beer was delicious but the service was atrocious. 2.5 hours for a beer and burger. Normally we would have walked out but we meet a couple from Ohio that was sitting by us. They joined us at our table and we had a wonderful conversation.

Beautiful location...great covered patio seating.....waitress just had the personality of a rock!..if you work in customer service, you really should learn how to converse with people!..you can make or break a persons whole experience while dining!

As an Uber and Lyft driver it can be difficult to find a bathroom late at night. I appreciate that the restrooms were clean. I ordered a cup of coffee to go, and they said it was on the house. Thats good customer service!

One the best places for fries. I like that they carry RC Cola instead of some more typical monopoly soda. The burgers are quite good, particularly the Communication Breakdown. The wait can be long when they are busy.

Kind of "just another McMenamins"....The food is average, the beer is average, the service is average. The layout of the restaurant is nice & its a good place to sit by a window & people watch the folks on Broadway.

The food isnt the best, but its a great place to grab a beer or hard cider and hang out with friends or family. I have never waited for a table and the food is normally quick. They have a great outdoor patio too.

Food was great but if you sit outside on patio be ready to wait a VERY VERY long time to get some to wait on you. They seem not to check the patio to see if any one is sitting there very often!

The most consistent thing about this location over the years has been the poor service. Now with an overpriced Kennedy-School-wannabe menu, its even dropped off our "occasional" list.

This is the old standby. When it is late this is always a cozy spot to nip into for a pint and a bite to eat. Its bar food, but its a good Pacific Northwest rendition of bar food.
