My mom and I have been coming here since I was in elementary school (I am 23 now) and up until recently, its been great. However, a long series of events have led up to the point where finally we will no longer go eat there anymore. This afternoon, my mom and I went in, and there was absolutely nobody up front. A very rude man came out, and grunted basically at us telling us to "SIT SIT" And then he threw the menus on the table. When it was time to order, he came back, and we told him our order, he snapped at us repeating "What number?!" multiple times. And threw open the menu on the table. He looked angry and upset that we were trying to order. The food I had picked,didnt even have a number. He was so rude,and made us feel so uncomfortable that we got up and left. He just said "Fine" when we said we were leaving. This place has gone SOOO far down hill, its not even funny. Save your money, and time by not going here. If I could give it less than one star, I would.

The carne asada is good, but that is it. Rude staff, messed up orders, UNCLEAN, and did I mention RUDE?!? I ordered take out and they gave me 2 wrong dishes out of the 3 I ordered, the other person who received my order had started to eat it before he realized it was the wrong order. The other victim came back in and they simply grabbed the container from him and shoved it into my hands before walking into the back and ignored me while I stood in awe. I waited for the waitress, ended up having to go back and talk to her, she didnt see what the problem was because I "had my order". It was cold and mauled. I watched as the chef re-wrapped the mauled burrito with a new tortilla and tried to pawn it off on me again, I was disgusted and left. They were rude, unsympathetic and refused to give me a refund after waiting nearly an hour for 3 items. BOYCOTT THEM! I will never again step foot in there!

Menu looks great, my burrito had a selection of vegetables including cauliflower and broccoli, tasted great. Friendly staff and tasteful interior. But if your looking for a good price on beans and rice? 11$ for a vegetarian burrito minus cheese? 7$ is too much. Id pay 8$ for this one cause it was good, but 11$ off the menu is outrageous for a veggie burrito. And the order could have been much bigger. Costs half the price at Baja Fresh.

I actually like the food. I got the chicken and rice dish which was good. My wife got the vegitarian burrito which she though was just so-so. But what really annoyed me was a few days later when I discovered that they felt they deserved an additional $2 tip. I gave a 20% tip so its not like I tried to screw them. Anyway, those $2 equal us never going back. My suggestion? Pay cash!

Only bottled beer... blended margaritas... I shouldnt even have to say any thing else, but I believe in thorough reviews. Tried the weekday special. Decent burrito. The rice tasted like some rice-o-roni bullshit. Service was fast thanks in part the 7 year old boy running around clearing tables/handing out menus. Chips and salsa were decent. The margarita was not. It sucked. Peace out!

My husband and I went to El Tapatio for the first time with his parents after looking at a house that we are now buying. We ended up taking our real estate agent there for dinner and to sign papers. Were so excited to have found sound an amazing mexican restaurant in our new neighborhood! The food is amazing and the servers are warm and friendly. Great family restaurant!

Can anyone make good Mexican Food in Oregon???? Everything about this place is wrong! Watery tasteless beans, food served cold. The cheese enchiladas were not melted because of the lack of heat. The servers are strange and it is expensive for the size of portions. The first round of chips and salsa are on the house.

Waitstaff is less then outstanding when they are busy, but the fajitas are fantastic! Went to mexico and had a yummy fajita-like dish- these were the closest thing to it ive found in years of searching! Just a warning, almost all burritos come slathered in red sauce and covered in cheese (even kids so ive heard).

The food here is absolutely delicious. One of the things I noticed about this restaurant is someone is always cleaning the rest rooms are clean the floors are clean the table is always wiped down and clean. The last time I walked in there they cleaning the windows. This is a great place for family dining.

WORST SERVICE WE HAVE EVER HAD 1 HOUR TO BRING OUT FOOD AND THEN WHEN I ASKED WHY .I WAS TOLD TO GET THE F OUT BY SOME WAITER THAT COULD HARDLY SPEAK ENGLISH WITH OUT SWEARING OTHER CUSTOMERS LEFT BECAUSE THE SERVICE WAS SO BAD ,I SHOULD HAVE TOOK THE HINT ,DO NOT GO TO THAT PLACE

They have EXCELLENT salsa- spicy and delicious, and their food is the best mexican around! I recommend the taco salads, tostadas, enchiladas, burritos and pretty much everything else. By far the best in the area! Great service- El Tapatio rocks!

This place is a dump. Horrible service. Horrible food. Do not bring your kids here, its not safe. Me and my kids have gotten sick several times and we will not be back. Filthy place, should be on dirty dining! Disgusting.

Waited for five minutes to be seated or at least greeted. No one acknowledged anybody who was waiting. I expect to be greeted when arriving at a restaurant. Left to find somewhere else.
