This place is a hidden treasure for sure! You cant see the restaurant from the road and once you pull into the parking lot it looks pretty small, but when you walk in, it is a really nice setup, with soothing, nice music (I dont know if this is just a Saturday thing, but they had a guy there playing guitar when we went). My husband and I both agreed that this would be a perfect spot for a date. The menu is packed with choices, and the food is AMAZING! Their chips are good, and salsa is pretty good too (great flavor, but runny, so if you like it to be totally chunky you may not like it so much). Thier shrimp and carnitas are probably the best I have had at a Mexican restaurant. And I am usually not a big fan of Bea a in general, but they had some beans in the dish that I got that were PHENOMENAL. I mean they were so good that the 3 other people who were with me table kept "tasting" them. I got the El Mojave or something like that. Its one of their house specials and I have never been so excited about a meal at a Mexican restaurant as I was when I tried this stuff. It even had cactus (my first time ever trying it) and came out in a hot stone dish. It was REALLY good and again, the beans that came with it were seriously amazing. And everyone loved their dishes; it was seriously all really good.

This is literally the only good, authentic Mexican restaurant Ive been to in the Pacific Northwest. Im from California, and I know good Mexican food. For whatever reason, there is no good Mexican food in the greater Portland area. Even well reviewed restaurants could be described as tex-mex style food at best. Not Lindos! If you want shredded cheese and iceberg lettuce on your tacos go elsewhere. But if you want delicious street tacos for just $1(!!!) head over here. These literally taste like the tacos you find on street corners in Mexico. So good, and so cheap! Chile relleno is my favorite Mexican dish, and the ones they make here are the best Ive ever had. The Chile Colorado is great, the fajitas are delicious, the mole is superb -- Ive never had anything that wasnt delicious. My only critique would be that the salsa they serve with the complimentary chips and salsa is pretty mild, and I wouldnt mind if it had a bit of a kick. On top of the delicious food, the owners are so kind. They remember us every time were in, and are always so friendly to us. Its great to know youre supporting a local business and good people. We no longer bounce between mediocre Mexican restaurants, this is the only place we go for Mexican food.

Worst service ever!! My husband and I wanted to sit in the Cantina since we didnt have our children with us. The "bartender" was there for about 10 minutes, then bailed on us. We finally got to order food, which actually came quite quickly. The food was good. But after getting our food, no one came back. We had to flag someone down 45 minutes later to get service because we were ready to pay and leave. It took another 20 minutes for someone to come help us. He rang up our order, told us how much we owed him then took off again for another 10-15 minutes. I dont know what was wrong with the servers today, there was hardly any customers in the whole place. It seemed to us that no one knew what they were doing or what customer service actually means. We wont ever come back again!

I live in Beaverton/Aloha - where there are plenty of taco trucks and hispanic food markets. Id HAPPILY drive to Vancouver to eat here when I have a craving for quick mexican. Salsas are not only fresh, but flavorful. Hard taco shells are made fresh with great texture. Filling - each one was good = they didnt all have the same seasonings. Todo excelente y bien sabroso! Pero ahora tengo antojitos. This is the best of mexican food, simple, well prepared meat, but fresh herbs and a variety of salsas (I liked them all). Cant wait till we go back.

My first time there, wanted to eat something different for my birthday. The food there is great very filling, and the service is outstanding. I didnt want to tell them it was my birthday but before we left my wife told the owner it was my B Day, he was so nice offered me cake, ice cream and even a shot. But I told him no that it was fine I just wanted to spend a quiet dinner with my wife. This is a place I will go back to, we were so comfortable just being there. Thank you for a nice quiet dinner and great service. Mike n Diane

This was a terrible excuse for Mexican food. The chicken was way overcooked and was drowning in oil. I ordered a burrito and it was ninety percent lettuce(I dont know why they would do this????? Cooked lettuce is disgusting) and it was covered in a sauce that was obviously from a can. The beans and rice were cold and mediocre at best. As California natives we are used to fabulous authentic Mexican food and I was excited to see that people said it was the best Mexican food in Vancouver only to be incredibly disappointed.

Food is excellent, Service is amazing, this is the best Mexican restaurant in town by far. If youre going for the Muchos type meal, they have the authentic taco cart out front where you can get $1 tacos. If you want amazing steak and shrimp fajitas, or carne asada, its about $10 and is far better than La Costa or Who Song and Larrys or any of those. I never understand why this place is always dead, but the food is outstanding. One of Vancouvers little treasures.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had in 47 years of eating out. Mgmt was unwilling to make right what they knew, and all but admitted, was wrong. They had opportunity to keep and make a loyal customer, but I would not set foot in that place again. My family was appalled at our treatment. Update: Complaint to the BBB was ignored. They had two notices sent to them and an opportunity to resolve the complaint, yet took no action.

Best Mexican Food in Vancouver-I Love this Place i have been coming here for around 15 years, Their Chips, & salsa are the best, and the service is second to none. I also like the Chimichango with Crab meat on the inside of it. Also they now serve tacos outside of this location in the summer, & inside during the fall & winter for just a $1.50. Thanks Jesus, and crew for doing such a great job serving me and my family for years.

First off, I was disappointed in the al pastor. Meat was not even marinated the right way. Plus they basically act as if there is a meat shortage, very very little meat in my burrito. Just rice and beans. As a mexican restaurant this should of been easy. Disappointed. I would jump in the kitchen just to show you how it really is done. I wont try another dish. Because looking at other plates your meat just looks dried.

Right now I am serving a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints, I am from Arizona so I have had some great Mexican food, and let me tell you, the food here at Lindo Mexico restaurant and cantina is amazing! Great flavor! And every staff member was great and they had live music going on as well, really nice place to dine in and have an awesome meal. Altamente recomendado!
