I love Peruvian food! At least, as far as I know, since this is pretty much the only place Ive been. :-P They have quite a few delicious dishes, but none that Ive tasted compare to the shrimp enchiladas! Ive been there quite a few times in a group of 10-15 people where every single one of us ordered the shrimp enchiladas. I liked it with the jumbo shrimp best, but its still amazing with regular sized shrimp. I cant eat dairy products or gluten, so that limits my choices a bit. I just ask for no cheese or sour cream, and honestly the shrimp enchiladas dont even need cheese to be awesome. I would love to try their Peruvian spaghetti some time, but, like I said, I cant have gluten. They often have live music. Sometimes its really good, sometimes not, but I like the atmosphere it creates.

0 stars, I preface this with the fact that we took a 2 month old a 2 year old and an almost 5 year old to this restaurant on cinco de mayo. However my children were amazing considering we waited 1 and a half hours and still never received any food. The tables that came in after us all received food finally they started bringing food out to a table of 20 or so and we decided to leave as it was almost bed time for the kiddos. Its now 8:30 and we have Taco Bell. At least they got our food right and in a timely manner. I cant review this restaurant or food, but there service was aweful. Good luck guys. This is my first ever time to review a restaurant and I am a people pleaser, I dont like to complain, and very easy going.

After scouring all of Sellwood, Milwaukie, and SE 82nd for a decent family-style Mexican restaurant, we were surprised and delighted to find La Hacienda with such an interesting and delicious menu. The menu consists of authentic Peruvian food combined with a standard Mexican fare. The restaurant is family owned and provides attentive service. Its a bit tricky to find, as its located down the breezeway to the right side of Michaels craft store and behind the buildings facade, but well worth the trip! The restaurant features a big screen TV for sports fans and live Latin music on select days (call for more info). If youre looking for a delicious meal out, La Hacienda will both surprise and delight your taste buds.

Ive been going to La Hacienda 1 to 2 times a month for 15 years now and I have yet to be disappointed with a dinner experience yet. The Peruvian cuisine is very delicious and the Mexican plates are authentic. The fajitas come out sizzling on the cast iron skillets and the ambience is very pleasant. This is an excellent restaurant and I feel that it is extremely under-appreciated. The staff are incredibly pleasant and several of the managers ahve been there the entire time I have been going there. All in all, you cant go wrong dining at La Hacienda.

La Hacienda took our order at 8:38pm and we received our food at 9:13pm. There were only 2 of us, and the other 2 tables had ordered and received their food before we had arrived. Ther waiter was cold and unresponsive to our requests of drinks and salsa the entire meal (we got our drinks 5 minutes into our meal instead of with chips and salsa). The food was cafeteria grade, below mediocre. I wont return, there are dozens of other restaurants that affer better food and better service.

A hole-in-the-wall joint, only slightly better than Taco Bell (maybe). If you want a good margarita, forget it ($7.50 for a shot of tequila and a mix). Tortillas are not hand-made, and they fall apart after two bites of your fajita. Atmosphere is reminiscent of a church basement. This place is in no way connected with the excellent "La Hacienda" restaurants in Salem. Once youve had really good Mexican food, its difficult to tolerate something like this.

We found this place by accident. Actually, we had walked by it several times but it looked like just another one of those chains. We were starving so we went ahead and tried it and we were very pleased. The "hot" salsa that you have to request was amazing and our dinners were amazing as well. They also have very good lunch specials Mon-Fri.

Its hard to understand this restaurant. The inside is bland, they had drink specials but no bar, they had unique dishes, but none that Id want to eat again. I had the "Peruvian" stew with beef, and it smelled off, the entire dish tasted the same, and the beef was tough. The only thing memorable about this restaurant is wanting to forget it.

We were in Oregon City and hungry. After a quick Google search we found La Hacienda. It did not disappoint! The Peruvian food was traditional and delicious! The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. Dinner came out quickly and we made it disappear pretty quickly too. Yummy! We will be back!

I saw a mouse while I was eating my lunch. Just scurrying along the next table over. I get sick just thinking about it. The staff was friendly, the food was good, however, I dont know if a mouse could have scurried across my food. Therefore, I will never eat here again, and advise you dont either.

Their food is excellent, although the man who works there (I believe he is one of the owners) usually seems to be in a bad mood. Multiple people I have taken there have made comments about his attitude and how he does not seem like he want patrons there.

Great Peruvian dishes very authentic. Small quaint place to go for a quiet meal with someone. Great service always making sure if you are pleased with your meals. Fun place to go for Happy hour and enjoy some great music they play there live at times.

Service was great! Friendly and helpful staff. Food was blah. "Salsa" was more like marinara sauce. Chips were not all that great. My burrito had peppers and onions that were barely cooked. Seemed rushed. Portion sizes were generous.

No wonder nobody was in there! Our server was inattentive to us and the only other table in the restaurant. The nachos we ordered were a pile of soggy chips, luke warm beans, and oily cheese. Would not recommend to anybody.

This is the one place my family always goes to for special occasions! Such great food and everything is so fresh and cooked very well. Not like any other mexican food restaurant that I have been to!

We went on a Friday night. Live music was amped up way too much. No beer on tap and the food tasted like a bad TV dinner. Had ask repeatedly for drink refills etc. I would never go back.

Food was really good, service was fantastic. I wish I could give 4.5 stars. Try the house made hot sauce, very very good. Pretty spicy, amazing flavor.
