Me and my girlfriend go to red robin once a week for her cheat meal since she is on a strict diet. Usually every time has been great. We have gone to other red robins and this one is still our favorite. Until last night.. We got there and were seated wtihtin 5 minutes! (which was great) We ordered our food and didnt receive it until 1 hour and 15 minutes later. After about 30 minutes into our wait, the server came over and told us the kitchen had lost our ticket and we had to reorder. We reordered and continued to wait. By now, we had watched people be sat (after us), ate their food, paid, and LEFT the restaurant. Our server did bring us fries while we waited (we get bottomless fries anyway so it wasnt a big deal). Then he tells us we are the 3rd ticket in line! THIRD! uh hello? we should be the FIRST ticket. So we asked for the manager because we ate our fries and waited another 10 minutes and still no food. The manager on shift was not helpful at all.He came over didnt give us the time of day and immediately just started telling us what he could do. He gave us a card for a free appetizer or dessert.. We never get either of those.. he didnt ask what happened or anything, we never got a word in.. and one of the most important thing about solving a customer satisfaction issue is always listening to the customer and making sure they feel heard and adress the problem to their needs. I thought it was ridiculous and ironic because in order to use that card we are forced to come back. So it appeared that all they cared about was money coming back in. So we said whatever and took the card. Finally our food came out and my burger did not have the sauce that i asked for on it. usually I would never complain about something so simple as a sauce but at this point i couldnt take it. We asked for the manager again and he came over and we explained how we wouldnt use the card he gave us and that my burger was made wrong. He said he had something better and then came back... He gave us a $9.00 gift card and said we got half off our meal. Great, except that we would have already gotten half off since we are royalty members and that was the promo for the burgers for the month of may. So we asked if we could stack the deals and he tried but the computer wouldnt let him. So we used our $9 gift card and still had to pay .64 cents. Which was nice. But why go through all of that hassle and not make the meal on the house? Me and my girlfriend both have worked customer service and believe the manager could have handled it better. Our server and food were good but overall experience was terrible. I always leave good reviews and rave great things about red robin. Now im sad that this experience makes me never want to go back. we love red robin, but this put a sour taste in our mouth.

I had to write this review, I am upset. Another very disappointing experience again. I have so much to say. I will not be coming back. EVER. Our server came to our table only twice after ordering, to refill water and give us our check. Why? Idk, We got the sense she didnt like us or was having a bad day or just a bad server overall. Another server came with our food. The burger was good but that is not worth the bad experiences. Food portions are small. Also be aware of what your eating, we found a thick blonde hair wrapped in one of our burgers. When we finally flagged someone down about it, they didnt apologize they just looked at us like we put it there. You will not get bottomless fries by waiting for your server to return, unless you flag down a nearby busser and wait 15 mins for them to arrive by different server.. Oh and that table tablet thing will flash FOREVER when you press the "Call Server" button but employees will just walk by and IGNORE you, your better off walking to a random server and telling them what you need. AVOID THIS PLACE. Go elsewhere like five guys or mc donalds its surprisingly faster and MUCH friendlier.

The burgers are good but horrible service on multiple occasions. The last time they brought our burgers (after a 25 minute wait) and we had to ask for water. We also noticed, after the waitress left that there were no napkins. Isnt a napkin on a table sort of standard or is this another cost-cutting measure? Other patrons around us also were laughing about having to eat a nice juicy burger with no napkins. And ordering with the little tablet where you can also play games. Sorry, but that doesnt enhance my dining experience. If I want an A & W experience I will go to A&W and phone in my order. Again, this is just cost-cutting waitress jobs. Other Red Robins in Oregon have been great. But the Eugene Red Robbin seems to have continual turn-over of managers and consistently bad service. Prior experiences include waiting over 30 minutes for 2 burgers. And finally...entering Red Robin at 5:15 on a Friday afternoon and being told there will be a 10 minute wait looks really BAD when more than half the tables in the dinning area are clean and available. Guess they just dont have enough help.......

Needs to work on the hospitality quite a bit. Sorry to say it, but this location is really lacking. Came in at 5PM on a Thursday and the hostess offered us the table by entrance and register. We politely asked if we could have a table a bit more off the beaten path because the restaurant had maybe 4 booths occupied in the area they were seating and she was obviously bothered by the request. Her response, "Well, well probably be getting busy soon and we want to make sure we have other tables available too." I had to insist that we have another table which really started the experience off poorly overall. Improving the hostess performance is probably where the opportunity exists in my opinion. Last I checked, unless the restaurant takes reservations, the early customer should get the favorable seats. Unfortunately, the food also had poor flavor and the server (who was very nice) came by a total of twice in 45 minutes time. There are certainly better places in Eugene that I would recommend at this point, which is too bad because we have previously had nice experiences at Red Robin locations.

Myself, my husband and 2 teenage boys ate here this last weekend, the 4th I believe. So..our server "Cameron" was to say the very least not great! My sons being large local football athletes eat..lots...thats why they wanted red robin burger and bottomless fries, ha!!! Good luck getting refills on the fries or even water for that matter, we were aslo asked to close our check out WHILE still eating our poorly slopped together burgers, along with the table of ladys next to us and my self being referred to as a GUY all night..not folks, ladies, everyone, nothing!! Ive been waiting tables for 15 years and dont normally complain..but save your money folks!!! So many BETTER restaurants with FAR BETTER SERVICE just around the corner! My family will NEVER return and Im sharing my experience with my family, friends and guests that I serve here locally!!
