I live in Happy Valley and there are two Dairy Queen restaurants closer to me, but they are both run down, have poor customer service, and one of them did a horrible job on an ice cream cake. I checked out the reviews and saw there were several that mentioned the cake decorator was very talented at this location. I ordered the cake over the phone, and asked for a fishing theme of some sort. I walked in to the DQ and it was clean, updated, decorated nicely and even though the employees couldnt help me right away because they were busy, they still acknowledged me. (Im a stickler for customer service) They got the cake for me and it far exceeded my expectations. The decorator did a wonderful job. I wish I could post a picture of it. This DQ will be getting my business from now on, even though theyre a little out of the way.

Ordered my food and sat and waited with my table number. Quite a while later I noticed other that had came in after me walking out with their to-go order. So I asked them about my order and they claimed there had been some issue with the order screens and my order had been missed. Mistakes happen so I was promised that they would have it right out. Sat down and 5 minutes later one of the employees walked outside to take a break and noticed me sitting and waiting and asked her coworkers if Id gotten my food yet, and yet again they had forgotten. Another 2 minutes later my food arrived and she made some excuse blaming the cook. I most likely wont be returning any time soon. I will give them 2 stars since the food was as to be expected from a dairy queen. But the service was very disappointing.

Worst hamburger ever! Only half of the burger had the lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, & mayo. It looked like someone just slopped everything on. It was dry on one side and too disgusting on the other because of the big blob of mayo. Will not waste my money again on this place. Their quality of food seems to get worse as time goes bye.

They need to remodel the inside looks outdated and dirty window seals frequently have dead flys and dirt. They need to deep clean the inside. Cashiers are more integrated on talking to eachother then getting you your food or the right order always check to make sure you have everything.

I dont expect much from people in fast food, but I do expect them to understand English when it is their first language! They always get my order wrong and then charge me too much and mess up the refund. How does shake sound like sunde??!

My family & I showed up just before closing one night, after a late school function, & didnt expect much. The food was very good, fresh, & we didnt feel "rushed" to eat & leave.
