This was by far a great experience. We went for breakfast and cost just under $90 for 4 of us and we ordered a lot of food because that is what we wanted to do. This was pretty cheap being that it was 4 meals, 4 desserts, coffee, 4 add on meats (meat was not typical this was like home cooked bacon sausage and ham) , alcoholic beverage, 2 juices, and biscuits and honey. The food was phenomenal we even brought food home. The desserts were amazing and way too much for one person so we brought those home too! We will definitely return for lunch and dinner. It sounds expensive but its really not you could compare the prices seriously to Dennys but with way better quality. Not to mention locally sourced. Oh and dont let me forget about our amazing waitress Heidi, talk about someone who really knows their job and enjoys it. She was not to pushy and had the best attitude. She really MADE our dining experience what it was and she was very interactive when helping us sing happy birthday to my husband. She is amazing with customer service. Overall every employee we encountered were nice smiling and pleasant. Great job Multnomah Falls lodge.

This is the first leg of the perfect one-day tour of Oregon. April is the peak of the wildflower season in the Columbia Gorge. Have brunch in the atrium with a view of the falls first. Anything with smoked salmon or trout is delicious! Then take your time to hike and look close to enjoy the plethora of wildflowers, many of which are only found in the gorge due to its unique habitat. This is one of the most romantic places anywhere with the stone architecture and the falls. Be sure to stop in at Oneonta Gorge. Its incredible. From Multnomah Falls, take the loop through the Hood River valley for the apple blossoms and incredible Mt Hood views. Finish your day at TImberline Lodge for the alpen-glow and sunset views of Hood and Mt. Jefferson. If you take this tour in mid summer, the wildflowers are peaking at Timberline at 6,000 feet down to 4,000 feet. So there are two times of year that are perfect for this tour. We spend time around here studying the ecology in order to perfect the waters we build. Enjoy!

Multnomah falls lodge is the most popular stop of all the falls on the scenic route. The lodge itself has a rather large gift shop stocked with plenty of the normal memorabilia you would expect to see. We did purchase a selfie stick there (Never thought I needed one til we visited these falls) They also had a large restaurant that I did not get the chance to eat at but it looked rather upscale. There is a smaller concession stand style restaurant on the side with typical food corn dogs, pretzels... etc. There are bathrooms here as well. Parking was really bad they definitely dont have enough spaces but they dont really have a choice on this matter. The fall itself was awesome. It is the largest of all the falls on the scenic route with a cool bridge you can take photos from. However, I preferred the other falls as this fall has no hike so it was very crowded due to accessibility. The other falls were much more private!

If i could give this place zero stars i would. I am normally a very understanding and patient person and the same can be said about my girlfriend. We ordered two elk burgers and the BAKED stuffed mushrooms. When we got the mushrooms they were literally room temperature 30 minutes after we had ordered. Then 10 minutes after we finally got our ENTRÉES we got half hearted prepared burgers tat cost an arm and a leg. On top of all that our service was almost.... Wait lol i had to find out my servers name from the manager because she is as unfriendly and unwelcoming as any terrible server i have ever met. Not to mention 45 minutes after later me and my girlfriend were fighting over the bathroom because of major digestive issues over a 24 hour period!! Worst place ive ever experienced! Avoid at all cost for you and you families sake!!!

Thieves and theft!! Be very careful and do not leave anything in your vehicles... Huge hot pot of crime in this parking lot- broken door locks or broken windows are very very common. My GPS, debit card, leather coat and cds were all stolen and we only parked in the very busy parking lot for 30 minutes. Lots of people around, lots of cars coming and going, only one spot left in the parking lot when we arrived. Hard to believe anyone would be able to break in a truck in such a busy parking lot/area. The police said it happens all the time, and the best place to park is right in front of the lodge. Just a heads up... Very gorgeous spot, beautiful falls, neat visitor center, and salmon spawning in the creek! Definitely worth the stop, just be safe and clear out valuables when you park!

It was a little crowded when we went... and we went on a Monday! So if you are going on a weekend, go early... or be prepared to hike a little bit, just to get to the place where the hike begins! They have a nice gift shop, restaurant, and coffee/fudge bar at the base of the hike, which I thought was strange. Who wants to eat fudge before or after a hike? But I guess this is America.... Anyway, they have hikes for ALL levels of hikers here. You can do the short and easy hike up to the bridge which views the falls. This maybe takes 10 minutes and is an easy hike. My family and I did the 7 mile falls hike up to the top of the Multnomah, and then up and all around to view about 8 other waterfalls in the area. It was nice to get up and away from all the crowds.

Food 4 stars, service 2 stars. Got there between Sunday brunch and dinner so disappointingly the bar was the only option. Great soup and the best honey wheat bread weve ever had! Hostesses were very friendly and helpful, wait staff was not. Sat at a table for nearly 10 min before the server (who had walked past us several time) told us we needed to order at the bar itself, where we placed our order with the same server. The server took care of 2 other tables and never came back to ours except to give us our food and never brought the check. 10 min after we had finished we had to go ask the hostess for the check. Probably would not go back.

The food is well prepared, though the portions are light. For a place at a tourist attraction it was better than we expected. The interior is quite nice, with fantastic architecture in the soaring windows of the back room. They have a decent selection of local beers, though the outside deck is a bit crowded. The price was reasonable, though again it was higher than it would probably command if it wasnt a tourist area. The olive oil cake with lemon curd ice cream and fresh berries is a must. Skip the food, even, and just order three or four of those. It is nicely secluded from the throngs of people outside.

The restaurant which is located upstairs has fantastic service there is a couple of fireplaces. Delicious food friendly service . Restaurant is clean and cozy.... If youre lucky you can get a window seat and people watch while you eat. You cannot see the falls from the restaurant unfortunately. Its in a very historical building . There is a bar thats across the hallway from the restaurant area . they a lot of times have the bar closed but when they open it its great to just sit in there drink some beer enjoy the atmosphere . I have enjoyed my experience every time Ive come up here
