If size is a concern always order a large it is only $4 more than a small, or $2 more than a medium. A large is 15" (1 inch larger than the big box chains), medium is 12" and a small is 10". The dough is made in house and so is the pasta. Dough is slowly fermented for 72 hours before it is ready, and the pasta is extruded using an organic semolina flour with no eggs so it can be prepared vegan friendly if requested. The sauce has no added water, sugar, or oil. It is tomatoes, wine, and spices, thats it. The cheese is a blend of 4 cheeses that is shredded and mixed in store. Oregon raised whole muscle real Canadian bacon (smoked pork tenderloin) sliced with a deli slicer. Pepperoni made with a natural animal casing. Fresh picked mushrooms, tomatoes, green bell peppers, onions, romaine, basil and other greens brought in multiple times each week. Pineapple canned in its own juice, no sugar added, Californian grown black olives. All dressings prepared in house and no outside "seasoning packets" are used. Spinach alfredo made using fresh spinach, butter, cream, and plenty fresh ground parmesean cheese from a wheel thats been dipped in black wax. Many more reasons why Ivy Bear is the best pizza on Mt. Hood, and be sure to hand feed the koi when you visit. Disclaimer: This is my restaurant so Im bound to be biased. To Patrick Hanna: You worked for me for less than a month in 2014. Suprised to hear from you almost 3 years later, disgruntled ex-employees usually lash out immediately. It is totally normal for our cured meat to have an iridescent rainbow sheen to it. It is an interaction with iron and fats in the meat. Just google iridescent deli meat. That being said, if you were to keep up to date on our operations, you would have noted we have not served sandwiches in over a year. Changing our menu, and instead focusing on our freshly made inhouse pasta. I hope you can move on and find true joy and purpose in life.

The pizza was great! Unfortunately the service was not. Very slow. The girl working the counter and bringing out the orders had a terrible attitude. There was maybe 5 or 6 active tables at the time, and pretty staggered, so not too busy. We waited 10 or 15 minutes after ordering just to have her bring out our beers. Another 30 for the pizza. By the time it came out our drinks were empty. She said she would bring us a pitcher of water and another beer at no charge, we never saw either. After eating the entire pizza with no drinks, we went up to pay. She made no mention of the promised drinks or lack thereof. We overheard several other customers repeatedly asking for their drinks as well. They had one almost empty shaker of Parmesan cheese in the entire place. Someone else asked for ranch dressing and was told "apparently were out" It was pretty tasty pizza but overpriced and not worth the poor service. We wont be back.

Came in on a Sunday night around 530pm with my girlfriend. Seating was wide open with several people coming and going throughout the experience getting takeout. First, we ordered Root Beer. Our awesome waitress brought two frosted mugs full of root beer, and as we know frosted mugs make everything better. When those were finished she even brought a mini-pitcher over with more root beer without us even asking. As for pizza, we ended up ordering a Jack & Jill (Half pepperoni, Half Hawaiian) but we were very interested in the 4-cheese pizza. Our waitress, again, being awesome, said she could let us do a half, quarter and quarter if we wanted. So we did! All types of pizza were delicious. The crust is thin but sturdy, the toppings although not over-the-top were present and fresh. All in all, for a large pizza and two drinks for under $20, I would highly recommend this spot for date night again.

Grew up in NYC and was exposed to great pizza early on. Scott Olsen makes the most delicious pizza I have tasted this side of the Mississippi River. His four-cheese pizza has the perfect blend of savory cheeses combined with a truly flavorful sauce. His garlic buttered bread knots are a wonderful accompaniment to any meal. It will be difficult to stop yourself from asking for a second helping of them. Even though it is out in the far end of Sandy, OR, it is worth the trip anytime you are heading to and from Mt. Hood to stop by. Your taste buds will think they have died and gone to heaven.

Clean and very open atmosphere. Owner plies his trade their and shared a lot about what went into the creation of his pizza. He really did his homework before settling on what would be a delightful menu. The Old Smokey was my favorite pizza and it was not one that I would normally order (had jalapenos.) But my favorite part of the visit was the tasty garlic and cinnamon knots. You have both an appetizer and then a dessert covered. Affordable, only wish it was a lot closer to Portland. Looks like more trips to Mt. Hood are in order to make sure I get out to one of my favorite pizza places.

We have lived 5 miles away for a couple years. Now we are loyal Ivy Bear lovers! Everything is so good! Even salads are delicious if your not in a pizza, wings, or appetizer mood. Favorite Pizza: Little Red Hen. 2nd Favorite is Jack & Jill. Ivy Bear has amazing food and flavors, and the ambiance cant be beat. Awesome outdoor features, historic wagons, koi pond, and fun indoor activities also. Love this place! Ivy Bear customers for life.

Fantastic pizza! We loved the Kodiak and also the garlic knots. Scott Olsen knows his pizza and his friendliness was delightful. Hes also a history buff and knows a lot about the Samuel K. Barlow Toll Road. Well be back next year from Idaho for another delicious pizza and more engaging conversation with Scott. You wont want to miss this pizzeria on your trips to Mt. Hood.

Just had some awesome salad and pizza at a really good price. I am from NY and this is the best pizza I have had since I moved out here eight months ago. The pepperoni are the old school little bowls, the crust was thin but not too thin, and really good sauce and cheese. Wish I had taken advantage of their huge drink selection. Two thumbs up!!

Great pizza, the place is amazing inside and the staff is wonderful! So nice to see an Oregon landmark re-opened. Had the chance to stop in after spending the day on Hood, with my four year old, sister, neice and parents. My Louisiana born four year old said the pizza was, "AWESOME!". I have to agree. I will be eating there again!

Two TINY pizzas and some cinnamon knots for 47 dollars? I could fit one on a normal dinner plate and the edges of the plate would still show. We wont be returning. The pizza is good, but not 17 bucks a pop good. We can twice as much food at a different place for 15 bucks cheaper. First and last time we will ever try this place.

This is a great roadside pizza place. Great for a trip to or from activities on Mt. Hood. They made sure to take of us even though we are the ones that messed up or order. The pizza and beer selection is good. If you come with kids expect to be asked for quarters as they have a couple pinball machines and video games.
