enjoyed a fine lunch-time meal at the firehouse this friday, august 26. our waitress was prompt, very friendly and courteous. we tried the sauerkraut balls since they were recommended on this review by a past customer and let me say we were very impressed. since we were biking on the zoar trail down to dover dam, we decided to eat lighter. my brother enjoyed a dinner-sized salad and i had the turkey club sandwich. both were filling and price-to-food ratio was good. repeated fill-ups of ice tea and our waitress even went one step farther and filled our water bottles up with ice water for the trek down to dover. big thumbs up on a late summer friday afternoon and keep up the good work at the firehouse!

Really dissapointed....first time I was there ...the waitress dumped a tray of dinners later ..... .I had no more time to wait but the rest of the family did ....2ND time there ...second chance today ....food ...30 mins later ...not what my mom ordered but still charged her ...full price for what she didnt order ....and my aunts bday dinner...flat bread pizza ...she ate one bit and mine and my daughters....Agh ...pulled pork ...cold ..turkey club ...cold ...chips and fries cold ...never again

This place is terrible. My father in law got what was the skimpiest and most pathetic quesadilla I have ever seen. I seriously thought it was a tortilla chip when I first saw it, not even kidding. They said the burgers were a half pound but they werent. My fries were soggy and limp. The appetizers were all frozen and quite terrible. My wife got the mac and cheese sandwich and it was cold with big chunks of chopped tomato in it. I cant think of a single thing about this place that I liked.

I may have a biased oppinion because I love a server here lol, but I love the firehouse. Just a minute down the road, tastey, and affordable. The staff is super friendly and the building is a zoar gem. I went in today with my 93 year old great aunt, and a friend from out of state. Everyone had the fish special, and it was very good. Good bar tenders, good servers, and a super cool kitchen staff. Thanks Kevin and staff for another great dinner.

Got recommended to try this place by the hotel clerk I was staying at. Had a great experience. The food was really good and our server was super nice. Since I had the room, I tried the cream cheese pretzel and loved it. When Im back in the area, I would definitely eat here again.

The German Tasting plate is one of the best things on the menu. Also, their crab rangoons and sauerkraut balls are homemade on site are delicious. The drive rub wings are great too! Cant beat the prices of drinks either...$2 tall drafts and half off any drinks on Wednesdays.

The atmosphere is nice and the food is good pub-style food. Service was a bit bad once when we stopped in for lunch, but the bartender was waiting on us and the service wasnt -horrible-. Another time we stopped in for dinner, a waitress was working, and service was fine.

Stopped in today on our first visit to Zoar. Our waitress, Hannah was wonderful. The food was great and came quickly. The menu offers a lot to choose from including burgers, wraps, wings, salads, steak and even pizza , I believe. We had and overall great experience!

Great service really good food. Steak was cooked perfectly and on the first try, burger was on point, and desert was delicious. Recommend coming here for a nice dinner in a casual environment. Pricing matches that quality of food.

Bad Pit Stop Imported beer was cold but tasted old and flat. Burgers had good flavor but was over priced. Staff was inattentive. Waitress appeared to have better things to do than help us. Will have to drive on by next time.

Didnt like the food. Chef Ramsey would love correcting bad food for great food by cutting the menu in half so at least a few items would be good ....everything Tasted frozen !Hope improvements are made soon. A chef is needed .

Im here for a couple days from out of town, but this is an awesome bar/restaurant!! The $1 burger was way more and better than one would expect. The menu is huge and everything I tried this weekend so far was great!

Party of 30. Everyone who ordered steak or chicken was very disappointed. Those who ordered sandwiches, enjoyed their meals. Party room was not very clean. Service was very good.
