The Best! My girlfriend and some of my friends grew up in Avon Park and Id always heard about The Turkey. It always sounded really fun, and I was so happy when I finally got to check it out. Its basically the best bar/grill ever. Theres cool stuff all over the walls, the bartender treated me like Id been eating and drinking there for 10 years or more and it was my first time there. Id go a few times a week if I could. Its awesome. I eat there every time I go to Avon Park/Sebring. The bartender even stayed open late for us when we wanted to stay later. What other place will do that? Please open a Wild Turkey in Ybor City Tampa.

Hands Down, my favorite Dive in the World !!!!!!! ( I Cant believe that Ive never seen The Wild Turkey Tavern on Diners, Drive Ins & Dives) !!!!! Best Alligator tail anywhere & the Steaks are just as good . . . Everything is prepared behind the bar, right in front of you . . . Ive been eating at the Turkey since the early to mid 90s & go there anytime I end up within 100 miles of it. . . . Oh, & the wings are outrageous . . . & Make sure to get the Taters & Onions sprinkled with Monkey Dust . . . Oh ,THE BEER, I forgot the COLD beer . . . ( I could go for hours, lol !!!)

There was a group of 10 people. We brought with us because food was so good. We were there for probably 2 hours. The bar automatically added 18% tip to bill. This has never happen before. The service was fair at best/ We knew we would wait for food, but barmaid didnt even come back to bring more beer. The waitress ended up with a $50 tip for 2 hours. We wont be back,, the tip just isnt worth it !

We have been stopping here every time we are in the Sebring/Avon Park area. We usually come two or three nights in a row, 3 or 4 times a year. Every single time, the food has been outstanding, the service phenomenal and the people unquestionably friendly. Its a dive bar for sure, but one hell of a good one. Get a steak or the gator tail, some potatoes and a cold beer. Youll not be disappointed!

Not the same at all!!! Prices went up quality went down and try hiring a cook. You get food faster due to the lack of customers. Whats up with the new crowed at night? I get in enough trouble on my own who wants to hang out at a place where some guy was just urinating in the middle of th parking lot when we arrived. So good job at destroying a great place.

RoseMary. Rosemary. The WIld Turkey Tarven ,uses .NO Rosemary. I dont know where you went. Burger&, Taters ,Steak. Apps and salads. Most Important is the people that Own and run , this Family business for over 30 years. They are honest, fun, and a great place to relax , and have a Beer or wine... Enjoy!!!!!!! Football too

I freaking love their gator and wings! I live in charlotte county and take a nice country cruise just to eat here. Ive tried other things on the menu, and I was not disappointed. And the staff is great too. Biker friendly.

Went in with my husband and Family for dinner. Food was just ok, the thing that made me very very mad was a sign posted on the wall that said "EQUALITY IS UNFAIR" what the Hell???? Do not think I will going back there!

I have been here on two occasions: 1) they knew we were coming 25+ 2) stopped in on the way to Leesburg Bikefest Excellent food, service and people. Will plan MANY event for the future. Fair price and good people

I was in town for a scuba trip in Lake Denton and was looking for a place to grab a beer and food. I stopped by the Wild Turkey was it was great. The staff was friendly, the beer was cold and the food was great!

This place was where me and my wife went on our first date.... we loved it until it was sold and now the new owners have changed way to much its not the hometown dive that it used to be... Such a shame!

Food was good, they have WI cheese curds! Nice place to eat. MAKE SURE YOU BRING CASH! If you pay with debt card you are going to get charged anywhere from $3 to $5 bank fees.
