My family and I came to the polaris ihop location on mothers day around 2:30. We were sat down with a pleasant smile from our waitress donna. My family is a little different as our oldest son has severe nonverbal autism. He is sometimes easily frustrated by not being able to communicate completely what he wants or needs. We ordered some bacon and sausage immediately knowing those are his favorites. Our waitress donna and another kind hearted waitress named angela ran back to get him his bacon immediately. Angela quickly came back not only with bacon, sausage but applesauce and yogurt. My heart melted. We were trying to get out of the house with our kiddos for mothers day instead of the usual staying in (because he doesnt always do well waiting or in louder situations) which was needed for me because you see we just recently lost our beautiful daughter on march 31st due to complications and she was stillborn at 37 weeks but they didnt know how my heart was aching. How i felt awful and just needed a meal outside of our house full of memories. they didnt know that something would mean THIS much to my family. I am now sitting in ihop with tears in my eyes that complete strangers would have so muh compassion for a little boy who they just met and just needed his bacon. Our waitress would run as quick as she could back to the kitchen to get more for him once he was out so that he wouldnt be upset, cry or scream. She understood our families needs were different and recognized that to make HIM feel better not for anyone else but for my little boy. To these waitresses i will forever be thankful for your kind hearts, for what you did for a special needs little boy was by far the kindest thing i have ever experienced on our journey with autism. Thank you for being so sweet.. For treating us like real people and not just starring or even saying nothing at all. I had the best experience here and we will be recommending the polaris location to everyone. To the managers at ihop please know what gems you have in angela and donna they made this mama with an aching heart smile and a special little boy feel better when he really needed it. Thank you again for everything. Lindsey

People! Take our reviews seriously and stay away! If they keep their waitress BRANDY on staff then that says even more about the people working there! Brandy was one trifling person. My husband and our 3 children, aged 5, 3 and 7m attended this place Saturday, April 23, 2017 at roughly 1700 hours. Brandy decided to talk to her friends who were at a booth next to my family and myself dropping the "N" word too many times, foul language all together, talking about some man serving time in jail and just disgusting conversation to be having at your place of employment. I was upset then. The host forgot to bring the sling for my baby (Im not upset with that, we are human) when the host walked by again I said "excuse me maam, can I have a sling" she apologized because she had forgotten and I overhear Brandy tell her friends "oh well, a sling wasnt requested" actually it was upon arrival for starters and even still you SEE we have a baby in a infant car seat on the floor! How DARE YOU! she spoke so rudely and unprofessionally in her tone! My husband grew upset and hes usually the calm one! When he asked did I want to leave I certainly said YES and we were out of there and enjoyed a nice dinner and great service at oCharleys down the street! Dont go here! It was DEAD in there when we went I assumed because its mostly known for being a breakfast joint but nope the people around know this place is disgusting! Their employees are disgusting!!!! Fire BRANDY! seriously she doesnt need a job in anything serving the public shes an animal. Maybe she can go clean the cages at the zoo

If I could give a negative rating, believe me, I would. We arrived at 7:25. The hostess said shed have to see where she could seat us, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. It took until 7:45 for our server to acknowledge us. The server told me that drinks were free on kids meals, so we ordered a drink with my childs meal. The food didnt arrive at our table until 8:32. We ordered 4 crepes, 3 pieces of bacon. 2 eggs, and 1 order of hashbrowns. 47 minutes to cook that little bit of food. Then, it only took us 10 minutes to eat, cos we were so incredibly hungry. My child kept raising her hand trying to get the servers attention and find out when the food would be coming. NO ONE paid us any attention. At all. At 8:45, an hour and 20 minutes after we arrived, I went up and got another menu, so I could leave cash for what wed ordered. The server just happened to bring the bill as I got the menu open to see how much the bill should be. When the bill arrived, there was a charge on it for $1.59 or thereabouts, for my childs drink... The one the server had told me was free with her meal. If Id had exact change, I would have paid them exactly what was on the bill. I ended up giving the server 74 cents for her tip. That was at least 2 dollars more than she deserved. We spent almost an hour and a half in this establishment. Thats ridiculous,. Were not talking fine dining here. We will NEVER darken this restaurants doors again. Completely egregious.

Well where do I begin! Lets see, we walked in and got seated and after a few minutes Kaitlyn came and took our drink order. Well about 10 minutes went by and finally someone else brought my coffee and said well it took so long because we had to brew another pot. (I never asked ). Enter Kaitlyn, sorry but they double seated me and since you wanted decaf coffee we had to brew another pot. Can I take your order? The 3 of us ordered and off goes Kaitlyn. So I go to put cream and sugar in my coffee and then discover I have no silverware to stir it with. Crisis solved, there was an extra straw on the table. So we are waiting, and waiting, and waiting. No food yet. I ask someone to send over the manager, by this time I am hungry. Waited 5 minutes no manager however Kaitlyn came over and said " let me go see what is taking so long ". I said please and send the manager over also. This is the second time I have asked to see one. 5 minutes later, still no manager to be found, still no food and apparently Kaitlyn ran for the hills because I didnt see her either with an explanation. Needless to say we left after 40 minutes of waiting and will probably not go back. Oh and did I remember to mention that there were probably a total of 12 tables in the whole place that had customers at them

We waited 30+ minutes to be seated after being told it would be a 10-15 minute wait, and that was the least frustrating thing that happened. We had been in the restaurant an hour and 20 minutes and still hadnt gotten our food. Some of us never got our entire orders. Two people ordered eggs sunny side up, and received them so undercooked that raw egg white was sliding all over the top surface of the egg. After we asked for the eggs to be cooked more, they brought out an order of toast, then 15 minutes later they brought out 1 order of eggs. The other order never came! By this time the rest of our party had finished eating, and we had paid our check, so we ended up leaving after wed been in the restaurant 2 hours and some of our party never got the food they ordered and paid for. We stopped in the restroom before we left, and it was filthy. Only one stall was useable. I dont think Ive ever seen a womens restroom that gross. Most surprising was that the staff was generally unapologetic for the service, food, condition of the restroom, etc. I dont think I saw a manager. I thought they were just understaffed, but at one point a handful of servers were just standing against a wall, so I dont know what the problem was. But if youre considering this IHOP location, you should steer clear.
