went there for restaurant week. ordered the 3 course meal. it took 35 minutes to get the 1st round of drinks. should have left then. the meatball app is fair covered in sauce and cheese and warm. the short beef rib was fatty over cooked, the risotto was overcooked and the consistency of glue, and I was unable to cut the asparagus with the knife provided. the salmon dish was overcooked with a more than needed orange glaze fresh from the can, rice was hard and under cooked. the shrimp risotto was fair and tasteless. for dessert the key lime pie was fair to poor in taste but looked nice as far as presentation. the triple pot crème de chocolate was the consistency of nutella from the fridge tasted like store bought fudge with a fresh dollop of whipped cream and strawberry cut in half. the wait staff repeatedly apologized throughout the dinner (which lasted a painful 3 hours start to finish) for the service and timeliness. the waitress apologized at the end of the meal and stated that tonight was not indicative of the type of service typically there. if this is the type of service you have when you are supposed to be show casing yourself. so long story short, I wont be back, nor would I recommend this place.

Went on 9/19/15. The place is bigger than it looked from the outside. The decor lends itself well to a casual night out or a slightly grander occasion. We had the Fried Green Tomatoes and Humus for starters. The Humus was good but the tomatoes were soggy but tasted satisfactory. The beef ribs with mushroom risotto was passable. The beef was perfect, the risotto flavorful but the consistency was off. The carrots were bland. The strawberry shortcake was delicious. The wine list is good. Only two Italian reds though. The service was great and knowledgeable. Overall, a place I will return .

Without a doubt, one of my favorite restaurants! The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and romantic. Their wine selection is fantastic. My recommendation: try to bounce around the menu and experience everything. You will end up with your favorites, but try to break away from them with each visit. The same should be said for their wine. Instead of ordering a glass or bottle, try ordering a flight! You get to try three wines you probably would never order on your own, and youll probably find something you truly love!

Brought my wife and and my family on Saturday night. Not really busy but that was ok. Food was really good and ordered 2 bottles of wine. Well, I get my bill and to my surprise I was charged $16 for a corkage fee. Wtf.. to open a bottle of wine cost me $8 a piece. Waitress never explained a fee and from what I have read, a corkage fee is charged when you bring your own wine. What a rip off. Give me the wine and Ill open it myself. Will never go back there again. So buy 2 bottles of wine and pay for 3. Shame on the owners for this.

The atmosphere is good. However, please note that they charge a $4.00 "cork fee" for every bottle you order. Really? I personally found this "cork charge" to be unacceptable. Lesson learned: Penny wise and pound foolish! We will NOT visit this establishment again, based exclusively on this individual issue/principle. "Grandiose" aspirations from an "average" establishment. ----- Take your own opener or go a mile down the street to save your $4;00 cork fee. Silly nearsightedness.

May have expected too much. Chop chop salad was not good. I sent my Chicken Saltimbocca back, chicken was tough and dry and didnt taste like anything . Shrimp Risotto was okay but nothing to write home about. Baked penne was too greasy, had to add salt, not much flavor. Wait staff could have been more attentive. But wine was great and atmosphere is really nice.
