This was one of the better Ponderosa locations - having dined at Grove City, Hermitage, Butler, and New Castle. The staff was VERY friendly and social and the buffet was clean, neat, well-stocked and kept fresh - despite we were one of the last parties to come in for dinner that evening. Great selection of buffet food and desserts. In the one corner is an "Atrium-Like" area where you can sit and it almost feel like you are eating outside as two walls are enclosed in glass. The chef preparing our steaks did forget to season our steaks (as requested) - BUT they were honest enough to admit fault and offered to replace them. You will most likely need to season the food to taste as it appeared they do not add salt/pepper (seasonings) to any dishes.

We drove an hour to check this Ponderosa out, hadnt been to one since we were kids. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean, the buffet well kept, stocked and delicious. Prices are very reasonable and the staff was extremely nice. Even our 2 year old had a blast. It was definitely worth the trip and we will be back. Side note-- the parking is also very good. Plenty of spots and large spaces. (We were there around 1pm on a wednesday)

Buffet needs work. Most hot food was barely warm. I ordered the half rack of ribs, came out beyond burnt. They were quick to get it taken care of and allowed me to substitute for Prime Rib instead. Oh! MY! Best steak Ive had at a restaurant in a very long time. Very tender, barely needed a fork and knife. Although it is served with au jus, it wasnt needed. I will definitely return for more.

They made me give them that star I just wanted to post a comment. Me and my family drove very far just to get Ponderosa because all the ones surround Cleveland area has closed was so excited it was horrid steak nothing like before chicken not even the same not well kept up either dingy and dirty

The food SUCKS SO BAD!!!! Gross food that has been out all day. When I asked for a fresh batch of taco meat they said they arent making anymore. Asked for a fresh pizza and they brought out half a pizza with no topping. The customer service was okay though. Thats why I chose a star.

Service is so-so. It not a normal restaurant service since its a buffet. But at one point I did want to get up and refill my own drink. We asked if thats what were suppose to do and were told no. Buffet food was good. The steaks and burger were blah. I could have made them better.

I had a pick up order 2 ribeye dinners, they were burnt black, one would of broke my teeth, wrote a bad review,week later, lady called, Im still waiting to see if she will honor her words, that they will send a replacement gift card. Walk in have been MUCH better

This is not a 5 star steak house people. If you think you are going to get an all you eat salad and food buffet along with a top notch steak for $12.99 you are crazy. What you do get is a fair /decent steak, friendly servers, quick service and quality buffet.

Waitress dropped 2 bowls on floor, picked them up, put soup in them & took them to 2 customers. Another customer found the stack of soup bowls all had mold in them! Food in buffet was cold. Prime rib was medium & very tough. Evident it was old. Stay away!

My boyfriend, son, and I got the buffet there and then afterwards all three of us where sick...vomiting and diarrhea. My son had it the worst and was up all night with it. We will never go back and I suggest others stay away. The food was nasty!

Food was ok. Waiter seemed like he could care less whether he helped you or not. Brought my ice tea with no ice, didnt clean up dishes, brought our food out 20 minutes after we finished salads. Very poor service. Hope we didnt bother him to much

Went there and had dinner with my girlfriend and her mom.I hoppen to look in the kitchen.And omg food on the floor.And i seen maybe 15 or 20 people in there just standing and doing nothing.Really nasty and i will never return there again.

Was there this past Sunday afternoon,food sucked only had salad bar,service was bad also and the place wasnt busy at all,asked for dinner rolls never put out,pork tender loin were just bones no meat,brown gravy was just a big lump.

I love this place. Sucks that I have to go all the way to Warren to get it now. Years ago when there was one in Boardman my family went every Sunday after church. Best chicken ever and you cant beat the price.
