My daughter and I were both craving sushi, and were somewhat disappointed, the sushi was mediocre, but wasnt bad, thank goodness for "soy sauce, wasabi and ginger". However, the Hibachi grill was good, but my daughter tried some selections from the main buffet. For instance, the buffalo wings were greasy and tasteless and the rib tips were hard and fatty. Suffice to say, I wasnt impressed and was let down. They used to be really good when they "first opened". The sushi was ALWAYS fresh, but now it seems that since they have the customer base, theyve gone down per the quality of their food and freshness. What was also surprising is their rating wasnt visible upon entering the restaurant, until as youre exiting the restaurant and if you happen to look at the doors that were pushed opened youll see their rating is now a "C". Thats scary to me, I wish Id noticed that when we walked in there. I would have taken my daughter to their competitor Tsunami which is across the road for "fresh" sushi. We felt sick after seeing that rating, especially when it comes to serving "sushi" the restaurants rating should ALWAYS be an "A", nothing less. Especially, since the restaurant is charging its patrons those rates, the rates should commensurate the rating and thats the bottom line. I am just happy we didnt get sick. Thats why its important to "pray" over your food prior to eating it.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE WITH BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE. I visited this restaurant with my family and friends today for my fathers birthday celebration. I was reluctant due to other reviews from coworkers & family members (unfortunately they were right). The server never formally introduced herself and was rude. Our drinks werent refilled ONCE. When I asked for extra cutlery for my family that arrived a little late the server huffed and walked away only returning with enough for a few of us. Me and my son had to share cutlery! It doesnt end here, the food was terrible! Undercooked meat, food sat out for 2 hours before switched with something fresh, & the so called sushi was dry. When I spoke to the manager Jacky he initially simply apologized and said hed speak to her. It wasnt til I said I wanted to speak with the store manager or owner that he acted genuinely concerned. Despite many requests for the store manager or owners name & contact information I never got it. NO ONE from our 15+ party was offered anything to compensate for the terrible service we recieved. Long story short I WILL NEVER RETURN & WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE. Save your money and visit a customer friendly restaurant with great food such as Jasmine Buffet. **the only good worker there was the cook at the hibachi grill and if I were him Id run for the hills from this place**

TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED! I arrived later than my party. I wanted to sit at the table with my family and the waitress (Melanise...or however you spell it) persisted that I sit at another table with people who were in the party but NOT my family. The service & food sucked. No one came to pick up our plates - thus having a pile of plates on our table. Not once were we asked if we needed a refill. We had to ask them to do so. It gets worse!! When a friend asked for a lemonade the waiter smirked and said, "you had a tea". If we ask for lemonade we are obviously going to buy it!!! The gentleman at the front desk named Jacky who claims to be the manager wanted to offer a discount right off the bat which means he has had similar problems often. We didnt want a discount. We just wanted great customer service. Jacky replied "oh some of our employees dont speak English well." I could care less if you speak no English at all! A language barrier doesnt excuse not picking up plates, serving drinks and refilling cups. Do your job! Long story short, go elsewhere. Sun Ming is less than 5 minutes away and AMAZING!

The buffet in general is pretty good. The restaurant has a very large variety of Americanized Chinese food. The all-you-eat sushi is just Okay, to mediocre, at best. The service can be a mixed bag ranging from "good" to "less than stellar" at times, but never bad. We come here often when we want to fill up at a low cost. The ice cream here is actually quite good, and of good quality. UPDATE: Man, this place is really going down hill. We came back here recently and the prices have gone up, but the quality of the food has not gotten any better, in fact, its gotten worse. The Sushi was very dry and hard from being left out too long. The Sushi that had been taken had also not been replaced for almost 45 minutes, the Sushi trays sat almost all empty until I went and complained about it. Only after I said anything did they refill the almost all empty Sushi trays. I think were done eating here, well find a another place to do buffet at.

I had a printed advertisement with the stated price if $10.99 per adult. When my party arrived the hostess stated the price was $14.99 per person. When I showed her the advertisement she directed me to a man stating he was the manager but suddenly when a woman walked up the hostess spoke to her in a language other than English and she suddenly became the manager. She said the price advertised wouldnt be honored but shes offer 10% off because the date on the advertisement was printed in error and tried to say it was an old coupon and the new price stated in April. The advertisement clearly had an April date on it. Im from Chicago, and I dont know how they operate in South Carolina but if a business prints an advertisement and there is a misprint or error it should be honored regardless. Seeing that it isnt the consumers fault that the advertisement was false.

This is the worst Asian restaurant in town. Do not go there. They serve the worst sushi in town, old, dry, and with the worst ingredients (that is, if you can call what they serve as "sushi".) The seafood and fish taste terrible because it is always overcooked! The beef is always hard and burned and the rice tastes stale and over cooked. There is nothing worth to eat in that restaurant! The staff is always rude and never attend to your needs. They spend their time chatting among themselves for a long time, they are very laud and never pay attention to any of the guests needs. I wonder why do they even need them to be there! The manager is intolerable and quite rude too. Read other peoples complains and you will understand why I will never go there again! DO NOT SPOIL YOUR EVENING! Go someplace else!!!

Terrible Terrible customer Service 60 family members many from out of State met here for a mini family reunion. I made reservation for this large group a month in advance. We were assured they could accommodate us. I arrived in town day before the event and went and checked out the room we were to use. Room they showed us was nice and roomy. Night of the event they placed us in a room large enough to fit 30 people so not all family members could sit together, plus the waitresses instead of providing good service kept asking about how many people in each party. I did not eat so upset.Food was fair, but would not recommend going here to anyone. After speaking with manager on duty he offered 10% discount They over booked so another family was in room we had booked.
