Cracker Barrel is on of my favorite restaurants! I love the food, especially the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and sweet baby carrots. There are many sides to choose from though – more than most restaurants offer – and it really is tough to decide. I also love their hot apple dumpling dessert and their seasonal cobblers. My favorite time to go to Cracker Barrel is during the warm months, when its sunny outside. Thats because the front of the store is lined with rocking chairs that you can sit in while waiting for your table to become available during busy times. The atmosphere is nice enough: roomy, with a very high ceiling and old-fashioned antique-y decor. There is a small peg game on every table for something to do while waiting for the food to arrive. I think that what I like most about Cracker Barrel is that it is a two-fold outing for me: on the one hand its a great meal – but then the fun isnt over after I eat because I really enjoy walking around the store afterwards. And whether I buy or not, I just love looking at all the neat stuff. There is a kid section, cards, food (like jam jars, retro candy, and dry mixes), bath & body section, and assorted gift items which may be country or seasonal themed. Men are generally not so hot on shopping, of course, but its a nice treat for women. You can always send the guys outside to relax in the rocking chairs! :)

I first come in to Cracker Barrel but Ive been here many times. And a few other times there was issues but it was taken care of. But what upset me today is aI come in and I noticed they have a new item theyre selling of Pancakes made with pumpkin. I asked the waitress how they were. She told me honestly that they are dry. So then I decided to order a breakfast period after other people had already been seated and already had received their food. I always purchase things from Cracker Barrel as well as eating at Cracker Barrel. The second mistake was when another waitress comes up and gives me the wrong food. Then had to wait forever to get bacon that was well done so eggs were gone. I think when you order food it should all be hot and all be brought together. Then as I go to leave I kept waiting and waiting for a waitress to give me a to go box from the apples that I did not receive till my meal was done. But its all good its okay cuz I wont be going to Cracker Barrel anytime soon thats for sure!!! I guess my new place will be Dennys!!! goodbye Cracker Barrel!!!

The pancakes werent burnt but they looked, smelled, and tasted like they were left on for a bit too long. The sausage had a most unusual flavor that Ive never gotten from any sausage before; as I was finishing the last piece it occured to me that it was almost a peanut aftertaste. The scrambled eggs were good but in my experience scrambled eggs are difficult to mess up. The waitress wasnt rude but seemed quietly irritated by just about everything. The open and massive room layout caused the chatter from all of the tables to sound like a low roar so that I had to speak loudly just to talk to the person next to me. Overall there wasnt anything terrible... It was just meh. I ate all of the food but I wouldnt go back there unless invited by a group of friends or family and then only for the company.

Unfortunately, it isnt up yo typical standards of most Cracker Barrels Ive visited. It used to be very clean, but the restrooms are always dirty and smell now. The service is just okay. There are just small irritating things that go on here. For instance, a waitress dragging two chairs all the way across the room instead of picking them up. Since the floors are jointed tile, the chairs are very loud when dragged across the floor. Not a major thing, but certainly an annoyance that doesnt need to happen. The food is still pretty good, but the service seems to be much less CB standards than it was even a year ago. Its still ok, but definitely trending toward the lower end of CB restaurants IMHO.

I love all people, including and especially old people. But I hate ghettos and folks, this is a ghetto for old and infirm (physically and mentally) or so it seems from my latest trip to this Cracker Barrel. The anti-room was filled with people milling around slowly and oblivious to others around them and a busload (literally, a busload) of the clueless had unloaded into the restaurant. When my traveling companion and I tried to make our way through the huddled masses, it felt like we were characters in some kind of sit-com. BTW, I will be 69 years old this summer. So, its not JUST the age of these folks!

Food is good. Price is good. Service not so great. The waitress my family had was extremely hard to hear. Her normal non sick voice literally sounded like an annoying squeaky mouse. I have a 6 month old and a 4 year old, I didnt order my 6m old any food (she ate off my plate) and she kept placing all the food in front of my 6m old. I was moving things out of the way so I could take the food from her and place it where my baby wouldnt get it and she said I got it and placed it in front of my baby. Hot food and 6m in high chair thats asking for the baby to get burnt!

The wait wasnt bad and the service was fine, but the food quality was poor. Two of the kids ordered pancakes; they looked delicious but tasted burnt. Im assuming something was burned on the griddle right before their pancakes were prepared. My chicken and dumplings were served lukewarm and tasted bland. My Husbands dinner was fine, as was the two-year olds macaroni and cheese. Overall, this meal was not the delicious comfort food we expect from Cracker Barrel. Wouldnt recommend this location.

After a 35 minute wait for our seats, it took an additional 10 minutes for someone to ask for our drink order- which waitress was going to skip until we asked her to. There were empty tables in the place so they werent at capacity. Then when 30 minutes after food order was placed it arrived. Everyone was missing something from their order. This was our second visit to this particular one; both visits were like this so likely our last.

We have been to this TERRIBLE location twice in the last 6 months. Both times we got up and walked out after sitting waiting for a waitress, any waitress, to take our drink order. No-one showed up within 30min. 30 MIN WAITING TO PUT IN A DRINK ORDER. I love cracker barrel. But this is the worst location in the country. I will NEVER walk inbthe doors of this place again. (BY the way they were not busy. We were seated immediately!)

This is the 3rd time we have had a poor experience at this location. We were seated quickly. It took longer than normal for our drink order to be taken. Then our server went M.I.A. A second server came after we spoke up. She took our drink order again and we asked to place our food order which she took. Then a third server delivered our drinks and retake our order. Not once did a manager come to apologize. Quite disappointed.
