I am a strong believer in writing only positive reviews BUT sometimes you need to wake up an establishment. I had a horrible experience here. Went for lunch and stood around while the waitress talked to her friend. She told me to sit wherever I wanted so I asked if outside was ok, she nodded. She asked what I wanted to drink, I asked for green tea...she said only have Iced Black Tea today. (fine no worries) I grabbed my own menu because she didnt offer me one and went outside. No shade outside so I turned up one of the umbrellas because they were all down. Its 90 degrees outside, dont know why you wouldnt keep all of them up to look like a more inviting patio to eat at but, whatever. Waitress came out with my tea and asked what I would like....ordered the breakfast bowl. Food came out quick but the problem was the fact that it was a soup of grease. Literally just coated my mouth....and it tasted horrible. I know I am supposed to be eating "healthy" food so I dont expect it to taste like its been to over seasoned but this, NO FLAVOR!! Soggy and, I couldnt even finish it. The worst part is, the waitress didnt come out, not once the whole time I was there. Not to refill my drink, ask how everything was, NODA. I even had to get up and go inside to get my check! Its not like they were busy either. Its Friday at 1pm and there are two tables inside. A two top and a 3 top. 2 cooks and 2 waitresses and they couldnt bother to fill my drink or engage me in any way!! Customer service is the biggest aspect of this experience. If I ordered something and its not that great, maybe I missed ordered and I will most likely give a place another shot. But the fact that they completely ignored me the whole time doesnt fly. I left a $1 tip (now that I think about it should have left nothing, i mean all she did was walk 25 feet to give me my grease bowl) I have never left a small tip like that and come to think of it, this was the worst customer experience I have ever had at a restaurant and that is saying A LOT! Hopefully someone from there reads this because Ohana down the road is 10 times better and the only reason I didnt go there is because they were completely full. Serendipity Cafe had two tables, NOW YOU KNOW WHY!!

First off let me say that I hardly ever leave bad reviews... but I couldnt help it with this place. My sister in law made 11am reservations on Mothers Day. When we got there we had to wait a good 20 mins before we just decided to sit at an unoccupied table outside. When the waitress finally did come over to the table, we had to ask her 3 times for a high chair for my 1 year old. Also, the whole reason we chose this little cafe was because it was on the way to Clearwater Aquarium & my mother in law has severe food allergies so this seemed like a great place to go stop for brunch... boy were we wrong! The first two things my mother in law tried to order they were out of... then my brother in law (who is currently on a liquid diet due to jaw issues) asked what their soup of the day was. We were informed that despite what their menu said, they didnt have a soup of the day that day. So he was stuck ordering a mediocre smoothie. I asked for sweet tea, but they only had unsweet & didnt even offer me the option of adding sugar. I understand that its supposed to be a more health conscious place, but being that its the south, they could of at least offered the option of raw sugar or stevia, etc. I ended up ordering lemonade which after one glass with no offered refills by the waitress, I asked for more, but was informed that they were out. I honestly thought she was joking with me, because that was literally like the 5th thing that we had tried to order that they were out of! It took forever to get our food so we ended up missing some of the shows that we had planned to go see at the aquarium and on top of it the food wasnt all that great. Also, they dont have a changing table available, so I literally had to change my 1year old on the table right there where we were going to eat! Needless to say that we will not be going back.

Worst food ever! They claim to use all natural ingredients but yet their chicken tasted old when I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. Just because food is organic or all natural does not mean it has to be bland, but I guess they think so because my order and my moms order has practically no taste to it what so ever. I recommend this place to those who have high blood pressure, as they do not season their food. For those who have low blood pressure like myself, and actually need sodium, I do not recommend this place. Lastly let me say that their customer service was horrible. They did not even acknowledge me, the whole time I was there, only to take my order and bring my check. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The idea of a restuarant that was totally gluten free is what attracted my husband and I here. We were not very satisfied with the taste of the food however. They also have a VERY limited lunch menu. We went for a late lunch so it was too late for breakfast and too early for dinner so there were only 5 or so wraps and 2 sides to choose from and that was it. I understand it is meant to be healthy food but there just was no flavor to the chicken and spinach wrap. The chicken was plain with no spice, not even pepper and there was no dressing on the wrap so it was just bland all around. I wound up having to put salsa on it just to eat it. The staff was nice but we will not be returning.

I love the owners here & I also love the food prepared by Chef John. Eat here when you have lots of time tosit down & relax. Savor the wait of what will be a healthy & delicious meal. Some of our favorites are the kale salad and the rice bowls filled with veggies, eggs, brown rice and chicken andouille sausage. The gluten free breads, muffins and desserts are something you need to try.We don;t even miss wheat flour and theyre often naturally sweetened. They also have a probiotic drink called kombucha in Hawaiian fruit punch or ginger flavor. All in all its a nice little place to hangout & a great alternative to the usual burger & fries joints in the area.

Originally, this restaurant showed promise and I gave a great rating but their service is sad and quite frustrating. You order food to go over the phone and are told it will be 25 mins. When you go to pick up the food, they havent began cooking it because they then tell you "we dont begin making food til the customer arrives" and also tell you that they are out of what you ordered on the phone in the first place and youll have to choose something else. I let this go the first two times because I like to support local business in Dunedin but quite frankly this business doesnt deserve any more chances.
