Food is authentic, delicious, and the portions are plenty! Their service is exceptional, utilizing a large staff to keep everything running in a timely manner, even at full capacity. Environment caters from those just to pick up, to individuals as well as families. For those who love guacamole, I suggest the table-side guacamole, made fresh on a stand right by your side. Plenty of authentic Mexican variety dishes, kids menu, and some American dishes as well such as wings & burgers. "The balloon man" is often there, spotted in the evenings, catering to those with children, creating balloon animals that are sure to please (and assists with the already short wait for ones meal). The only setback with our experience has not been with the restaurant, but the lack of parking spaces. Therefore, Id suggest heading there for an earlier rather than later dinner, arriving at 4 to 5pm in order to obtain better parking.

Despite coming here before and it being just okay, the wife, kids and I decided to give it another try. This time it was considerably worse than before. Service was fine, but the food was not good. Certainly not better than average. Several local news "celebrities" used to take about this place and their pictures hang on the walls. This is the first time Ive noticed the fake news affect me personally though. Pricing was fair, but the place is just a bit too old and dirty for my liking. The rest room seemed like it was through the kitchen and definitely not my kind of clean. The whole place could really use an update. Im not too uppity, I know how to slum with the best of them, but Id recommend just skipping this place and trying your luck somewhere new. As a last resort maybe but Id have to be desperate and on foot.

The best Mexican Restaurant around. Bar none. This is the place I measure all others by. I love everything about it. I usually get the fajitas. They never let me down. The burritos are big as they are delicious. The fresh guacamole, even the refried beans are delicious and I dont even like them. The tortilla chips are warm and fresh and the salsa is packed with cilantro (I like that). The walls are painted with artwork, the music, the staff, its so authentic Mexican I dont want to drink the water. Just a side note. I notice someone giving this place less than a great review but if you look at their reviews they give Arbys a higher rating. So if you like garbage like Arbys, Wendys, Burger King, McDonalds, Taco Bell, then this isnt the place for you.

My 1st time here after it was highly recommended..... my margarita was AWSOME! ... however my waitress completely fumbled the ball on 4th down smh... 1st she brought the wrong order.... then we got our order it wasnt correct.... we ordered burito fajitas with NO ONIONS... we brought it to her attention that there was onions and she was apologetic and brought us a bowl to pick them out and we tried to eat it anyway.... i couldnt enjoy my meal because i had to pick thru and then when i opened the burrito it was loaded with onions and i just couldnt do it anymore..... we explained it and showed her and the manager took one meal off..... I will return but i will steer clear of Janice

Judging from the outside, I wouldnt have expected much... a small place attached to a run-down extended-stay motel. Dont be deceived, though--the food is well above average mexican cuisine. The salsa has chunks of diced cilantro and vegetables rather than the typical tomatoes-in-a-blender concoction, although the chips it was paired with were nothing exceptional. I had the Tacos al Carbon entree; chunks of tasty steak wrapped inside a flour tortillas doused in a flavorful sauce (perhaps the same salsa) and grilled. The typical rice and bean pairing brought nothing original or exciting to the meal, but served as passable accompaniment.

Went here because of the high review average. The place was busy on a Thu night so its obviously popular but I found the place extremely average. The alcohol prices a tiny bit higher than average, food portions are very large but I value quality over quantity. If I could give it an exact score it would be 2.9 out of 5. I had the mucho burrito, and perhaps Im naive to Mexican food made in the US but it was covered in iceberg lettuce and honestly I have a pet peeve against ice burg, its like the grass of food, offers nothing to the experience, its just something tasteless to chew. I dont plan on going again.

That being said, this is by far the best Mexican place in Cleveland-West. Forget Luchitas (their mole would gag a maggot!) They have great mole, great salsa verde, great margaritas! Try the wings with their mole sauce! Complementary salsa and chips are excellent! Service is always friendly, fast, and very attentive to detail. I love this place! And I have lived in California and eaten in Mexico all over the Sonoran area. This is not strictly Sonoran cuisine, it is more close to Yucatan cuisine, as the name implies. Anyway, its a great place. Enjoy!

Overall a great Mexican restaurant. Great atmosphere, colorful murals on walls, large room, noisy in a festive way and bustling with activity. Food was very good and huge portions so if you get appetizers and entrees then plan on bringing some leftovers home. This is not high priced at all and you get good food for your dollar. We will revisit when we pass through the Cleveland area again as it is 12 min from the Sheraton (airport) where we stayed.

I used to really love this place but to my surprise they have raised their prices on the items that are ordered the most. Not just alittle bit either......who wants to pay 9 bucks for a cheese quesadilla? ?? Not me and to add meat its 2 dollars more. Just take a look at the menu and you will see the stickers over the old prices. Atleast they could have made it alittle more inconspicuous.

Nuevo Acapulco is THE best Mexican restaurant in the area! We have tried many other places and no one compares to Nuevo. The food is delicious, the service is really quick, the portion sizes are huge. I have never had a bad meal here and my family goes to Nuevo at least once a month (for the last 6 years!) Cant say enough good stuff about this restaurant.

This place is in a really shady "Breaking Bad" type neighborhood that shares a parking lot with a even more shady by the hour motel. Do not let that detour you! This is the best Mexican food in the city. We drive all the way from brecksville to easy here! Its fantastic. The table- side guacamole is the best guacamole youll ever eat.

In the grand scheme of traditional TexMex joints, Nuevo stands out with great service. Sure, most of the food is pretty traditional TexMex, but they are extremely friendly with a nice, open environment. If you are looking for a TexMex experience thats a bit elevated, this is the place... without sacrificing cost. Recommended!

This may seriously be the best Mexican restaurant Ive ever been to. The margaritas are tasty, strong, and well priced ($6-7). We had a potato chimichanga, and it was out of this world. The tortilla chips and salsa were clearly fresh and delicious. The waitress was super friendly and quirky. Wish I could give it more stars
