True foodie and Chicano from Arizona providing a positive review for others. I always check reviews when trying new places and most dont offer great reviews. Im going to give my you my absolute honest review. My overall personal rating of this place is a 6/10. First I will start out with the the staff and establishment. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The gentlemen we had was great, I never once had to ask for a refill. Anytime my glass of tea was half empty he asked if I needed a refill. The restaurant was very clean including the restroom which is always a big thing for me. The ambiance was great nice a cool not cold and not hot. The lighting was natural light from storefront not overwhelming from sun. I did notice they had shades on glass that can be pulled down if the sun was to much. Now for the food, I would say that it was ok not something that was great but certainly was not bad. The homemade chips and salsa were good. I asked for a hot sauce and was given the two on the plate. The light green sauce was my favorite. Very spicy and I believe the chili was habanero. It had great flavor and was spicy, my favorite. It also had a hint of cilantro another plus for me. The red sauce was a roasted chili, not a personal favorite but not bad. I ordered the number 7 combo that came with a enchilada and a chalupa. First thought was I never had a chalupa so I would try it. So here it is, the rice was nice and fluffy but lacked any flavor. The beans tasted like a bean dip, very whipped and runny. They didnt taste refried, almost had the taste of canned beans. The enchilada sauce was tasty not much a chili spice. The ground beef tasted like a something from a sloppy joe. The chalupa was actually really good, tasted exactly like a tostada. Topped with the included guacamole and green hot sauce it was the best thing on my plate. My wife ordered a chimichanga which was a bit different. It was topped with red sauce and cheese which isnt out of norm for some places. However, the taste in general didnt have the homemade nana taste. The cheese was a bit much almost to cheesy. Overall not bad and the experience was worth it. I was craving Mexican food and choices were slim to none over here. Would return and try other dishes if Im ever back in the area again.

Never really liked Mexican food, but this place kind of got me into the addiction for hot stuff. Good costumer service with a unique and welcoming dining room. Friendly atmosphere with a lively mood, but still an appropriate place for the kids. Whether you are traveling through looking for a Mexican Restaurant or just trying something new it is worth your time and money to sample its goods.

We go out to eat at least 2xs a week, and this has to be, hands down, the worst experience ever... The waitress, Bella, was very rude, and made us wait forever, then when the food came it was totally different than what we had expected... Very distasteful, and too expensive, for what we received; not to mention the rude service. Im sorry, but I will never dine here again...

Used to love coming here once a week and order food for my whole crew, got all the belly points for a free meal and their internet goes down when you wanna use them... Avoid if you dont like being mistreated, they offered me nothing to compensate the situation just an apology and sorry sir thats 6.95. Lost loyal customers today!

Friendly staff, and great food. What else can you ask for? With authentic Mexican food and fast service (fast service when the line is not out the door.) Birthdays are always celebrated here, and all of the waiters and waitresses come out in a cheer carrying a Sombrero and a dessert. Definitely a must have if in the area

This is my favorite resteraunt!!! Whenever Im in a sour mood my husband knows to bring me here and Ill be back to normal in no time! Margaritas are FANTASTIC, food comes out FAST and fresh and delicious!! I cannot recommend this place enough! Easily my favorite place in Cleveland, hands down!!!

This place was jumping on a Friday night! I hadnt been here in 10 years and it was nice to return. The staff is personable and the price was reasonable. Ive been spoiled by the Mexican fare in Chi-town though. The food at Maya is good as Tex-mex goes.

Very cheap, the cheese dip is fantastic, and the wait staff is friendly. However, its just not amazing. Weve been there 4 times total and left disappointed every time. Not bad for the money you pay for it though.

The food is fast but really sucks. The beans taste like Taco Bells beans. Then the next morning the beans come out like a bullet train. Save your money and go to McDonalds.
