One would think that these days and age restaurants care about their customers. Well, not the management/owner of Harvest in Solon. I am sure all of us have made reservations to a restaurant and for some reason or the other forgot to cancel. I made a reservation for 4 for yesterday (Saturday). While I had every intention to call and cancel my reservation I forgot to do so. At 7:40 pm I received a call from a rude male who identified himself he was calling from Harvest and I had a reservation for 7 pm. I gave my sincere apology for forgetting to call and cancel. That rude individual on the other side of the phone stated "You are sorry? Believe me you are nor sorry as I am" and hung up the phone. I was appalled, astonished, and speechless to such rudeness. I called back, the same person answered the phone and once again hung up on me. Well, guess what? Whoever you were neither I, my family, or my friends will NEVER EVER go to your place again. I dont care how good the food might be but to treat people in such way is unacceptable.

The menu is very broad so anyone should be able to be find something that suites their fancy. Dishes tend to offer a well paired combination of meat, vegetable, starch and sauce. Meats were cooked to perfection. The one area that I criticize the food is the high complexity of flavor combinations that are in each dish. There is already a good pairing of components on the plate. The sauces are usually very rich and complex in flavor. Once those sauces are put on an already busy plate, the dishes sometimes loose their flavor profile or it is just hidden behind a very robust sauce. Overall the food is very good. Its well prepared and each dish is well thought out. Just prepare yourself for lots of flavor.

Meh. I had heard amazing things about the innovative dishes, the ambiance, the rotating menu. Stuffed pepper appetizer was great, meat in both entrees was perfect. My partner had the short ribs, I had the skirt steak. Unfortunately, the fingerling potatoes & the roasted sweet potatoes were dry & overcooked. Really disappointing. Vegs were well seasoned & ok, but not spectacular. We tried the peach pierogies for dessert on the suggestion of our server. Again, overcooked & tough. The bright spot was our server - she was excellent - kept us informed when the kitchen was behind (entrees & dessert), which was appreciated. For the price, I didnt think it was amazing enough to go back.

Mothers Day Brunch - the food on the appetizer buffet was very good but our table was seldom cleared of used plates, there was a very, very long wait between the appetizers and the entrees, all four (and different) entrees were much too salty, there were no entrees on the menu suitable for young children, the dessert buffet was good. Might be a much better experience at their regular lunch and dinner hours, but wont go back for a special buffet.

This is quote possibly the only good food that is in Solon aside from the burntwood tavern. I would go for the Ahi Tuna it was one of my favorite dishes, and the pickled vegetables that they have are amazing, also check out the brussel sprouts if they are in season. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in an out of the way area.

Harvest kitchen & lounge is our favorite restaurant on the Eastside. The food is always top notch. Great raw bar selections and the best ribeye Ive ever tasted. The service is friendly and spot on. The Chef owner goes out of his way to make people leave happy.

Nice atmosphere and great staff make the excellent food that much better. Highly recommend the Korean spiced short ribs! Not a cheap place (we were at about 80/person with dinner, drinks, and one dessert) but well worth the money.

Nice atmosphere and great tasting food! A lot of the ingredients were of items that I was unfamiliar with (or they used a less common word of a familiar ingredient) but once I figured out what everything was, I was very impressed.

The food was delicious. The only complaint is the lighting, need a touch more light to do things like read the menu, we had a fun time using the flashlights on our cell phones to help each other out though ;)

Our service was amazing. I would heavily recommend the Korean spiced short rib. It was so tender, falling apart with just the touch of my fork. We will definitely be back.
