Roosters is one of those clever restaurants. The kind that make their employees wear 15 pieces of flare or have chotchkies hanging all over the walls. That doesn’t make it a bad place to eat, its just that kind of place. Most restaurants have several dining sections, but Roosters on Dressler is just one giant open room. The tables were large enough to sleep three comfortably. It was clean and spacious making it a perfect place to go when you have large groups. Kick back with some friends, drink a few brewskies, and watch one of the many large-screen TVs hung on the walls. I counted 32 of them. Roosters is essentially a kid-friendly sports bar. They boast a pretty decent kids menu, including a pretty decent grilled cheese sandwich and fried macaroni and cheese. The meals at Roosters don’t come with the obligatory fries but most items are cheap enough that they don’t need to. It gives you the opportunity to select an appetizer of your choice to go with your meal. Roosters is a pressure-free restaurant. It’s perfect for a casual meal with friends and family. You don’t go having have high-expectations of the food, nor do you leave disappointed. But you might have some fun while you’re there.

The atmosphere at Roosters is getting dated compared to the more vibrant sports and wing bars that are popping up. But I also appreciate every Roosters I been to in Ohio gives the same experience with constant quality between all locations. This location no exception as it is the same as those around the Dayton area. The wings are some of the best out there with flavorful sauces, although over the years they have gotten a tad smaller in size while the menu has increased in offerings. I like the Donkey wings personally. The fingers are also fabulous and fresh. Potato wedges a good pick as a compliment. Prices are reasonable and over the years other food items have held up in quality and flavor. So while Roosters has the fresh 1990s feel which is now dated when compared to the newer competition, they have kept their roots of a high quality sports bar food establishment that is better than the majority of newer places that are springing up like wild fire. This is an oldie but a goodie.

I am sure this would good if they could get the orders correct and learn to cook. The sad part is I dont special order and all 4 times my food is missing key ingredients. I wish I could say its because they are busy but it truly doesnt matter when you go. Ex. I ordered nachos get home (which is Akron) and I have a huge container of chips with lettuce and tomato... no cheese... no chilli...today I ordered Dumpster Wedges...easy enough but missing dumpster sauce...seriously its the signature sauce...the reason it was recommended to me. I order a cheese burger..McDonalds would have been better at least they give condiments to rehydrate the hockey puck burger like patty...here I was given a dry stale bun a hockey puck burger and unmelted slice of cheese...really...Id rather starve then eat this food again its pretty much "dumpster" food not consumable.

Food was either cold or overcooked. Nothing was good. Pretty disappointed. Maybe the cook was having a bad day. Manager gave us 20% off but honestly withvas bad as it was it should have been free. Got my kids the chicken fingers... Burnt. I got the pizza which looked nothing like the picture on the menu and was chewy. Also got the dumpster fries which were terrible and cold. My mom got the wings which looked good but were also very chewy. Not a fan.

Average overpriced food, cant carry on conversations all hard surfaces nothing to absorb sound. Monday night they started a car cruise night which is theyre only business on Monday night during summer, current management is alienating the group now, they wont stop it because of the business but they no longer support it.

Best boneless wings Ive ever had! Better than BWW and Quaker Steak in my opinion because the chicken is real white meat pieces and is juicy. They are also still crispy even after being sauced. Met friends there for my first time one day and ordered again literally two days later for this review.

Really good food with fantastic prices. There are plenty of TVs if youd like to watch sporting events. The food comes out pretty quickly and is fresh. The happy hour specials on appetizers is very good as well. Some of the best chicken Ive ever had. I recommended the chargrilled chicken salad.

This place is horrible. I asked for spaghetti and they literally gave me a fettuccini alfredo. This was the worst italian restaurant ive ever been to. And ive been to Lings Italian Thai Restauant. Dont even get me started on that place. My family and I had zero fun here. Gummy.

Roosters by far has the best boneless wings Ive ever had. Exponentially better that bw3s or Winking Lizard, et al. And Roosters is affordable. My only complaint is that Roosters sauces just arent as good as bw3s sauces. Also Roosters needs to build an Akron location.

Great casual spot for wings, beer, and watching the game. Always ample seating. Great kids menu too. Staff is always friendly. Theres a reason why the parking lot is always jam packed. If you like spicy wings, get Donkey Style - good flavor and good heat.

My boy friend and I went during their lunch hours. Our waitress was rude, our food came out cold, they gave my boy friend the wrong sandwich. Instead of making him a new one our waitress just put what they forgot on it and brought it back.

Ive been here several times over the years and have never been overly impressed with the food but my latest trip was the worst and last. The oil needed replaced and my chicken strips were dark, greasy, and tasted awful.

Good food in a sports pub setting. We like their boneless, skinless chicken wings and their turkey burgers for a lighter calorie dinner. Love their Roosters chips and nacho cheese dip. Mini corn dogs are a favorite.

This is really a good place. We dine-in and carry-out frequently. The boneless wings are always great and the sauce selection is good. Really like the chips and feather sauce. Cant beat COLD BEER with a meal!

Great boneless wings. The NU-KILLER is their most spicy sauce, but it is really pretty mild. I like to get the Korean BBQ with a aide of NU-KILLER. Perfect level of spicy-delicousness and great flavor.
