The Grille used to be very special to us and 5-6 years ago it was amazing. We had our first date and first dinner after getting engaged at the nearby gazebo there. We even had our engagement pictures there as well as our rehearsal dinner and many family dinners and meetings there as well. Once ownership changed, everything went downhill. We had not been there in at least 6 months (maybe longer), and thought wed have dinner there last night. We always get the lobster bisque--- its now no longer available as a cup, only a bowl (too much for me) and costs $7. It was lukewarm and was starting to separate (yuck). Our meals were OK, but what used to cost $9 or $10 a year ago is now $14. Plus, Im not sure how they managed to make half of my sandwich lukewarm and half nuclear hot. Our server left a lot to be desired. She came over promptly, but my husband had to tell her three times what he ordered because she didnt bother to write anything down. She came back once or twice-- they werent busy and we saw the other servers 3-4 times more than we saw her. Needless to say, we wont be going back there anytime soon-- 2 sodas, 2 bowls of mediocre soup, a chicken caesar salad and a brisket sandwich cost us $60 including a tip.

This is one of my favorite places to dine since our friends introduced us to the place about a year ago. Unfortunately, my wife and I have only made it there about 4 or 5 times since! I have tried something different every time and have been extremely pleased with my choices. The staff are very friendly and beyond competent. The last time we went was just after the local school had a homecoming buffet for at least 200 kids. Two things the kids were fun and having fun... The good kind of fun! And, you would have never known from the efficiency and attitude of the staff. We would highly recommend giving this place a try if you want excellent value for your dining dollar, great ambiance in a quaint setting, and if timed right some quality local entertainment.

Usually I love this restaurant. Tonight we had the most unfriendly experience and waitress. She was rude, unprofessional, and forgot an item on my meal, and when I pointed it out, she blew it off, and went and served 3 other tables drinks before returning to our table, only to claim she forgot and it was supposed to be part of what I ordered. Poor service. No smile, no introduction of who she was, and when we didnt order something from the bar she lost interest in serving us. Our entire family found the experience horrible. Very disappointing from what is usually a top notch establishment.

I did not like this place at all. From the outside it promising like causal laid back restaurant, but from the inside its a little more than causal. The service wasnt that good, it was incredibly slow considering there was hardly any people in the place. The hamburger I got was an extremely huge disappointment. How can you charge guests 13 dollars for a hamburger that you can easily tell is not homemade, but cookie cutter shaped from a frozen restaurant supply store. Even then it still was a disappointment to eat. The only good thing was the appetizer and we got the spinach artichoke dip.

Good variety, whether it be pub food for a quick bite, just a drink at the bar, a nice celebration dinner, or a quality lunch. Decent wine list, and some quality beers that you dont see everywhere. Top that off with tasteful decor and atmosphere (including an attractive patio), and well trained servers that actually listen, and youve got a proven winner. As a career restaurant manager, I dont think Im a difficult customer to please, but I am certainly hard to impress, and the Glenwillow Grille is one place I am very happy to recommend.

My lady friends and I celebrate our birthdays at Glenwillow Grille. We were there yesterday and had great service (our server was Bernie)!!! We ALWAYS ASK FOR HER BECAUSE SHE IS THE BEST!!!!! We had Willow Walleye which was done to perfection, Shrimp/pasta also done exactly like we like it, and a corned beef sandwich also done to our liking. We have been going here for years and love the food, service & atmosphere. I have moved to Medina but still travel to eat here. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Service and music was very nice. Strip steak was NOT a true strip. Ot was a sirloin cut in sort of a strip shape. Pototao came out after the strip or the so-called strep so I thought great theyre going to have a freshly baked in the meantime it was a bank that was sitting around for a long time. But like I say the server was great the Pauly the musician was great the weather was great but the food sucked. I eat out 6.5 to 7 days per week in this was probably the worst meal Ive had.

We are very disappointed we went to the restaurant and sat at the entrance for 10 mins and no one greeted us to seat us. We even made noise and no one came out to greet us. We left and will not return.

Great food and service. We werent rushed, waiter took his time explaining specials and he was spot on with his recommendations. Nice ambiance and noise level made for easy conversation with friends.

Consistently great food. Love the fish specials and calamari appetizer also the shrimp pasta and chicken parm are excellent. Make a reservation if your coming during busy times.
