I was excited to try this course since I thought it would be a great alternative to hitting the range.. Just a simple Par 32. When I pulled in the course looked nice for being an inexpensive course.. Thats about where the joy ended. I waited 20 minutes for the pro shop to check out the customer in front of me because no one knew what was going on and then they spent 10 minutes getting me rung out. I got to hole one and I really didnt mind the layout other than the fact that the greens cant be any bigger than my couch. To make everything much worse, the maintenance works followed my the ENTIRE TIME I WAS THERE. One particular employee following me while I walked, for 6 of the last 9 holes in his golf course.. He would rush by me, start weed eating the grass no more than 20 ft from me... then drive behind me and turn on the sprinklers the second after I made it to the green then he zipped right to the next tee to stare at me as I tee off and then blow by again.. I didnt get a moment of relaxation the entire time. The fairways were kind of tall but I still was very impressed by the conditions of the greens even if they were small... I will likely never return here, it would have been better for me to just go to a driving range where no one would be bothering me

Very disappointed. Took my son there to play golf (already knowing it was a very small par 3 course with only 9 holes). They charged my son $17 dollars for 9 holes! Such an outrageous price for such a small course that is in terrible condition. I mean my son gets junior discounts at other golf courses for about $10-$15, but these are courses that actually have a Par 5 on them. I honestly couldnt believe the price. Bottom line- at rustic hills you dont get what you pay for. WAY overpriced for such a small golf course that is in bad condition. Rustic Hills staff really need to take a look at the prices and tone it way down, i would be hesitant to pay $10 for my son to play 9 holes there.

Cassidy was our event coordinator for our wedding and she helped to manage and run everything perfectly. She made sure everything was cued up, done and ready to go. She helped run my rehearsal for us since our pastor wasnt able to make it that day. The food was wonderful. The staff was extremely professional and courteous and was so pleasant. The gazebo and ballroom were beautiful. Our wedding day was truly beautiful and wonderful. I couldnt have done it without Cassidy!

I guess I was expecting more, considering it used to be a private country club turned public. Im not sure if it was the recent weather conditions or what, but the course was not in the best condition. I also did not realize that there were four par 3s on each 9... and the rest were very short par 4s. Did not need to bring a driver, thats for sure.

We recently rejoined Rustic Hills and Im so glad we did. The kids love the pool, and my son gets to golf. The food is excellent and so is the service. The best part is that the pool isnt overcrowded and you get a more private experience. Its nice to see some familiar faces too.

this course is in very poor shape. some greens werent mowed, all had burnouts and imperfections. the course signage was also poor and confusing. $19 for 9 holes is unacceptable.

My daughter had her wedding here. We had the perfect day. The staff so very helpful, polite. Everyone said this was such a beautiful place. The food was delicious.

I stopped in for lunch and I had the best steak salad Ive had in a very long time! I would give it ten stars if I could!! The staff is super nice, too!

Great place for a wedding if you want your guests to leave and get DUIs by Montville Police. They literally pull people over as they leave.

Really nice outdoor summertime dinner! The patio is off the busy road, by a pool and overlooking a beautiful lake.

This is a country club with a golf course. The course is not taken care of properly. The fairway is dirt.
