Nice variety of food to choose from. We had St Louis Rib Sampler appetizer. Our Smoked Chicken Wings ended up coming out with our meal, which was ok so just added a side order baked potato. Then, ordered a Ribeye dinner with Green Beans, House Salad and added on Sauteed Mushrooms and Grilled Shrimp; and we just shared it all. Ok let me break it down... Ribs were good and Wings were ok, they were juicy inside; not as good as they looked, but ok, highly recommend the watermelon ranch dipping sauce....Yum! The Ribeye was huge, and Amazing, cooked perfectly! Of course the sides were all good. Except the add-on shrimp that was beyond over cooked not worth extra fee. The add-on mushrooms were good and a whole bowl, definitely worth extra fee! The warm Bread was delicious. Very friendly staff. Service was slow for us, others had come and gone before us. We thought it was maybe an issue in the back, not the server, not really sure but we werent in a hurry so it wasnt a problem. If we come to the area again we would definitely give them another try.

We live about 15 minutes away from the Roadhouse and love going here. I would recommend it over Outback or Longhorn any day of the week. First of all, you never leave hungry. You get all you can eat rolls and salad with your meal, and the entree portions are a good size. For the money, you get more food here than at the other steak chains. Everytime we come, we dont have to wait an hour like at an Outback. We usually sit right down. I have never had a bad experience with the service. Also, you cant blame this place for not cooking your steak exactly how you want it. NO restaurant I have ever been in (except the ones youre paying $30/entree for) have ever gotten my steak perfect.

This place has gone downhill. Just went yesterday and the the food and service was not that great. All four meals where under cooked or overcooked, One meal had to be sent back. The sweet potato was total mush,. The only that was fine was the salad. The service was not good. The server seamed rushed, The server was not that friendly, kind of what do you want and get out of here. Never came back and asked how the food was or if we wanted anything else. We had to track her down.to get anything. They have become complacent in the food and service. People we still be coming here so why should we they try harder. We will not be returning!

Got carry out. Called at 5:30pm on a Saturday and the woman on the phone sounded annoyed as she rushed me through my order saying things like, is that all? and, are you done? I got there and paid a ridiculous amount for soup, an appetizer, 2 steaks, and 2 desserts. A RIDICULOUS amount considering the food was sub par at best. Applebees has better food and charges half the money. When I went in to pick up my food, there was nowhere for myself or any of the soon to be diners to wait. The restaurant was loud with no ambience whatsoever for the money they charge. My advice, save your money!

Yesterday I ordered the T-Bone steak because it was on special for $15.99. The special included a side and a salad. I SPECIFICALLY asked the waitress what sides I could choose from and she pointed to the items on the menu that I could order from. When I received my bill I was charged $18.48 for the special. When I questioned the waitress, she said there was an up charge because of my potato. When I told the manager that I was deceived, she said she would "talk to the waitress". This restaurant practices deception. I will never patronize this establishment again.

The server was good, only complaint i had was with the manager Perry i think his name was, talked down to one of us like we was a child when the steak was undercooked. I been in the resturant business all my life and i have the mentality of the guest is always right, no matter what. Will not be going back there unless Frye ( yes he looks like Frye from Futurama ) is no managing that night. Plus the only time i seen any employee smile was when one of them cracked a joke, if the employees dont smile then how can i have a good dinning experience???

Not only was my steak overcooked, but the entire meal took entirely too long. Perhaps you should reconsider the whole idea of an open kitchen. It is worth noting that having televisions within clear view of the entire kitchen staff is negatively affecting your service times and the quality of your food. Refocus your efforts on expediting orders and ensuring correct and quality plating instead of allowing distractions to reign over your staff.

My rating is based on Clean place,Great service. Classy place. The drinks, the food (minus the steak) and desserts were amazing. However, for being a steakhouse the quality of steak was not very good. I would compare it to purchasing a steak at Marcs not even Giant Eagle or Buehlers. Definitely didnt taste like a UDSA Prime steak by far. Would recommend only the chicken dishes here.

Between the awkward moments with the manager Perry, and the terrible Ribs, I will not be returning to Brown Derby. The price for a full rack was exorbitant considering they dont even use a house BBQ sauce, they simply use sweet baby rays. Beware future customers, an overpriced menu and prepare to be pestered by the managers/staff to buy alcohol when you dont plan on drinking!

The service was excellent, our waiter was attentive but not bothersome. Our steaks were cooked just as we asked and were very tasty. I would recommend the food in a heartbeat. The only bad thing was that a large party came in and they were put next to us and while their waiter was taking their order we were looking at his backside. Not so nice.

Server was excellent. Appetizer onion rings came to the table cold we had to send them back, they up replaced with hot ones and later the manager took them off the bill. Some of the service was slow but not at the fault of the server I think it was the kitchen and another large party being served at the same time we arrived

Nice steakhouse adjacent to I-71 exit 218. Good steaks at popular prices with a pleasant atmosphere. Laid back and not a noisy sports bar. Just a bit nicer than the usual casual. Can get a bit busy during rush hours but they keep it moving. Easy parking. On frontage road off freeway, worth finding.

Poor Service and the steaks were tough. Shrimp was cold. Had a party of 8, you would of thought we had 50 coming in the way they acted. Forgot someones dinner, said she was sorry, it was given to another table. Had to wait longer while others were finishing up. Ordered it Medium...it was RARE.

Frequently dine at Brown Derby. Grew up in the area so great to see the Girves Brown Derby back in the area. Steaks are always fresh and cooked to our liking. My favorite is the French onion soup. House dressing is amazing! Wish they bottled it;) Great service and food. Highly recommend BD!

This is a mid-level steakhouse with decent service and ok food. Probably not a special occasion place, but if you are looking for a good nights dinner, its a good choice. The service is not as consistent as you would like, but some servers are really top notch and others are not.
