A random find and what a treasure!! The food is authentic and the best Cuban food I have ever had!! We had the lunch specials which included our choice of the lot. I chose the yellow rice and red beans with a mix of the beef stew (as the cashier called it) and roasted pork. He had the black beans n rice with the beef. As well as a side of yucca. We also got a beef empanada! And side of Mofongo that was served with the roasted pork. Needless to say we walked out with togo boxes. The serving we large. The service was excellent as well. The ladies behind the counter were so sweet and helpful. They we fast, clean and polite. Sucha great experience. We joked that this place was worth the hour drive down just to eat here! But honestly I would totally do it! Haha

Called ahead & had the food picked up. It was hot & ready but the person picking up the food was a few cents short so the person checking her out took the change from the tip jar. That would never happen at most places. I normally dont order white rice because not everyone knows how to cook it & it usually ends up tasteless. The white rice was delicious & will be my on order from now on. The entire lunch was delicious. We have ordered from Tropical Mambo many times, have tried many things & have never been disappointed. The food, the staff & the service...all A-1!!!

Really delicious food, best Cuban Ive tried in the area. Only reason I dont give it five stars is the ordering system is a little weird and the restaurant isnt organized very well. Still the staff are friendly and justifiably proud of their food.

Food was not tasty...ordered yuca with cod fish "bacalao" and the taste was very mild. The oil was watery and the garlic taste, non existent. Flavor wasnt there for me.
