Ordered golden chicken tenders served with soup or salad, bread and butter, potato. I was expecting just that. I got mixed vegetables (peas and carrots) with it that was not list on the menu to come with the dish. The waitress ignored us when I asked for a menu to make sure I wasnt wrong which I would have apologized for. I had to take the menu from under her arm to check. I had to talk to another waitress to get replacement tenders that were soaked from the vegetables. Disgusting and the way the our waitress handled it wasnt good customer service. Offer to give me complimentary dessert, no sorries, no nothing for the mistake. Own up to the mistake and remake the dish and I would given a better tip. But she did not own up to it. No thanks or goodbyes like Georges, which very warm and welcoming, Bad customer service, wont be back.

This is THE place to eat in the Cleveland area. All the locals know canarys. The staff is so amazing and runs like such a well oiled machine that no one waits long (if at all!). Great food, great friendly staff, the owner even comes out on the floor to check on everyone when he isnt cooking himself in the kitchen. Were regulars and even when weve moved they still remember us! Its like a family here! BEST PLACE TO EAT IN CLEVELAND!! Dont forget to tip your waitresses well, the food is so inexpensive that it wont cost you much to leave a good tip (and they split them)

They won the dirty plate award and had over 30+ food inspection errors. The manager is a mean man and treats his employees like dirt in front of customers. Thats just the employees. He is mean to customers he doesnt like for petty reasons and will threaten to fire any employee who talks to customers he doesnt like. Canarys used to be a nice family restaurant where you can take your kids but over the years (and with the help of the manager) it has turned into a restaurant that lost its spark long ago. New management please.

We have been coming to this restaurant since first opened. Not only is the food good, but the prices are so reasonable. The waitresses treat you like family. They talk with you, joke with you and make you feel welcome. The Owner is a super nice man. He makes me laugh every time I see him. He jokes with his customers and we all love it. Very warm and friendly. You will feel part of a family. We also go to his other location in North Olmsted.

A very nice family restraint, breakfast is amazing, I had the Farmers Skillet, my girlfriend had the sausage gravy. Both were excellent, service was fast and responsive even as business picked up. A fantastic place, but cash only. If you dont have any cash the only ATM around is in a not so nice liquor store. Bring cash. Worth the hassel

FAST service with a cheap price. But dont think they are going to rush you out the door though. The service staff seems to genuinely care about there customer and enjoy the coffee warm-up smalltalk. The food is delicious and did I mention it comes out FAST. Great place for a 20 min lunch on your way back to the job site.

I walked in at 239 pm the first girl told me sit where ever I like another girl quickly walked up and said sorry but were closed. There were about 10 tables or so with people seated. I will never ever go again. If the owner knew about that Im quite sure that young lady would not be employed there any longer.

This was the first time ordering the sizzling steak,very impressed, ordered medium -rare and it arrived at our table exactly that way. Steak was very tender with excellent Flavor next time my wife and myself will order the same steak dinner!

Its a great place to eat. Family friendly. We had to wait for the rest of our party to get there and they didnt have a problem with it. The food was great, cooked very quickly, and very good prices.
