Train Stop is a very simple local bar located right on the Little Miami River and the bike trail on the old 3C. Place gets a bad rap from locals but folks inside are down to earth. The place could be so much more in that location! Large parking lot for the trail and a cement patio next to the river could be awesome in the summer with outdoor dining / drinks. Stairs down to the river could prompt kayakers and canoers to stop. Hoping an entrepeneur or restauranteur reads this and makes an offer and fixes the place up. Could be a steal. Location - location - location!

Really cool spot! Good taste of the local area, scenic outdoor seating, historic building. Open bar, not waited tables, which is a rarity in this are and a great change of place. Great spot to unwind with friends after work or stop in for a drink after biking the little Miami trail. The owner was there on a Friday not and stopped by our table to thank us for coming in. They dont currently serve food but plan to starting winter. In the meantime, they have food trucks outside on busy nights. I would highly recommend!

Thanks for all the comments, both good and bad. We will take them all in consideration. We are the new owners, Mark and Amy, and are committed to making this a great place for all. Our plan is to make this a family friendly restaurant/bar with great food, ice cold beer, friendly service and all around fun atmosphere. This is a work in progress so bear with us in the meantime. For now, well give it 3 stars, but will be 5! :)

My boyfriend and I ate there for lunch one afternoon and were thoroughly disgusted by the food, the service, and the rest of the patrons. After listening to a friend of the bartender talk to her baby about his booger in the loudest possible voice for five minutes (why she was in the bar with her infant, I dont know), neither of us were hungry. We paid the bill and left as quickly as possible without stopping.

Yes I used to drink here underage..they serve liquor to underage kids & even let them take it to go. This place is absolutely disgusting & nothing but DRAMA. The only reason I came here was to drink cause I knew the bartender (Melody DeCarlo) would serve my friends & I as long as we gave her good tips. I even saw a couple bartenders buying ganja from customers in the parking lot.

Horrible! the bar tender was The worst Ive ever seen, she was Rude, unfriendly and bitter. I was told last night that the place is under new management, if thats true, they need to get someone who likes money in there because the bar tender is running people away who like to spend money. Wont be coming back

Whosoever has a negative thing to say about the staff, hasnt spent any time here at all. They are genuine, kind-hearted and down to Earth. Id take them over the brats that serve beer at Applebees, Fridays or any other "Place of Clones." AND, they have the best BLT sandwich youll ever find.

This is not the original train stop. They changed to another chain bar. weak drinks, over priced, attracting rude self centered people , owner only cares only about your wallet. The only good is the view of the little Miami River.

Not for everyone but thats how they like it. If you have opiinions keep them to yourself no one cares. They dont allow underage drinking at all. Kids come in drunk and they get blamed!

Had the time of my life. DO NOT expect a fancy place, expect the best dive bar ever. Cheap drinks, Loud Music, and lots of fun, Did i mention drunk girls singing karaoke to county songs?
