Not even busy on Saturday night, yet the very worst service of my life, the waitress had no clue of what was what on the menu, and then we had to sit and wait for more chips and salsa forever .. waitress did not even acknowledge us once as she walked past us over and over again. Once we received the food we sat for about 10 minutes waiting for silverware that should of been on the table in the first place. So disappointed that I tried to cancel the desert that my daughter ordered, and the worthless waitress simply said "sorry its already in the computer, I cant change it". Skip this hole and go to taco bell across the street for your Mexican food fix. For everything I complained about here I had to flag down bus boys to resolve because the waitress was too busy hiding/dodging work. Food was not even exciting, if it were we could of overlooked the incompetent waitress Seriously the very worst restaurant experience of my life. ZERO TIP for this waitress, and too bad, I tip very well! 9:30 June 27th 2015

Honestly, Viva Tequila was the worst possible service that I have ever received. Not only did I wait 15 minutes to even be seated, my friends and I waited 45 minutes for our food alone. Upon arrival, we noticed several people leaving due to the length of waiting time for simple services. When we received our food, it was cold and unpleasant. One friend ordered Sprite, only to receive carbonated water. We had several waiters stop by our table within the 25 minute period that passed while she waited for a new beverage. We barely touched our food, and decided to speak to the manager. When confronted, the manager simply told us that he did not know what we wanted him to do about the poor service. If youre looking for good service and quality food, I assure you that Viva Tequila is (at best) a far, far cry..

We had dinner in the bar last night (Feb 1, 2014) in the bar. After we were seated they seated a family of six next to us with a 2 year old and a crying baby. For the entire time (IN THE BAR), the kid ran around and cried and the baby cried. We finally called the manager over and said isnt this the bar? Why do you have crying children in here? They have a full restaurant where families with children should be seated. Nothing was done. We left as fast as we could after eating our food. Might as well have been locked in the back row of an airplane with screaming kids. What a way to ruin a Saturday night.

If I could take the star away I would. Got there and stood at hostess stand for 10 minutes before getting seated. When finally got seated it took another 15 minutes to get chips and drinks. After waiting an hour for food it finally came and we still did not have any silverware to eat with and no refills. The cheese was rancid and the food was cold and not worth the money. We waited to get our check and it never came. We got up to speak to the manager who never showed to speak with us. When we talked to the waiter about the service and food he said he would give discount and only took off $10

The food was decent but the service was poor. The server initially would not put tomatos on the side for my daughter and her friend for a shared plate and would not take a drink order when taking a food order at the same time. I tipped him ten percent ( its hard to earn less than 20 percent with me) and he followed me out to the car to ask " what is this" I had written him a note that his service was lacking in English and Spanish . Granted he did give us back a baby cup that we had forgotten but all in all it was a poor experience.

We go here quite often and love it. There used to be a time or two that service would lack (with years ago) but thats very rare now. There might be a bad night in every 8 times we visit, but it doesnt keep us away. Chips and salsa are the best weve ever had. Salsa is made with a little jalapeño kick and is chunky. Queso is delicious. We get the Chimichangas, but anyone I take there finds their meal delicious. The margaritas are delicious too.

The salsa tasted fresh and flavorful. We ordered burritos, chimichanga and quesadilla. The ingredients were fresh, tasted very flavorful and did not feel fattening at all. The server was very attentive, we finished chips because the salsa was great, he brought more chips and salsa without asking. Totally felt at home. The prices were very reasonable and consistent with what you expect in the market.

I will not even stop to eat here after reading the other reviews. Kids in the bar? Who is that rude to sit or have someone seat a family with kids in a bar? That is why the rest of us sit in a bar to eat, so we can eat in piece and quiet away from little children. If that is the policy here to disrespect people spending good money for an adult environment, forget this place.

Very attentive and friendly, great menu and tasty margs. Fed a family of four for less than 50 bucks! Chile Verde was delicious and very filling. Taquitos were crisp. Kids quesadilla was a hit as was the kids taco (#1). If youre staying at great wolf lodge, make the 2 minute drive to eat better and save money!

Best Mexican restaurant I have ever been too. Its telling that all the low reviews are complaining about the drinks and bar, nothing about the food. Bottom line is the food is absolutely fantastic. If you want to get drunk, pick up a 6 pack at the gas station next door and stop low-staring this great place.

We have lived in the area for 3 years and tried most of the local Mexican joints. This is by far our favorite. They serve a orange Ranchero sauce with the chips and salsa that is pretty great. My kids tend to suck it down quickly. I always get the number 149 under burritos and its easily became a favorite.

I would give it no stars if I could. Showed up at 1300. Waited at the hostess stand for 10 minutes and no one came to seat us. 3 waiters say us during this time but none could be bothered to come and say hi. It would be different if the place was busy but there were 4 tables max that had people seated.

Service was bad, he didnt know the menu. When we finally got our chips they were stale. Mine and one of my kids food was gross. They wouldnt get us something else or take it off our ticket. We had to stop somewhere for us to eat. Will never come back when Im on vacation.

Food is less than ok, poor quality. It is tasteless, if you dont add any hot sauce. The price is higher than avarage and this makes the place a pòor value. Not worth it. But, the service is fast and good. Food much better at the Chipotle.
