Stopped in for a bite to eat and do a little work, wow! Was greeted immediately by two employees. Quickly they gave me good recommendations, I ordered pulled pork sandwich, beans, and cornbread. Food was amazing night, puts Elis (local barbecue hotspot) to shame! By far best bbq in Cincinnati without question. Inside was very clean and unique, bathrooms were spotless! Chatted with the manager for a few minutes about the business and he was very polite and appreciates my business. If your considering Depot bbq go now, you will not be disappointed! Also have live music on the weekends, great date place, or for quick lunch

The atmosphere is super welcoming, and the staff is very friendly. The BBQ is fair. I personally have not liked any of the sides, as I dont like onions and everything seems to have them in it, even the mac and cheese. I do love that they serve adult beverages. They were out of ribs tonight, which is what my (raised in the south) husband wanted to try. Not a big deal though, as the burnt ends were fairly good in his opinion. Its average. Id go again, but its not at the top of my list.

Disappointed for the 2nd time. Wont try a 3rd. Ordered burnt ends both times. Someone needs to teach them what burnt ends are. First time, All fat, hardly any meat, no actual burnt bark. too expensive. 2nd time, meaty but chewy & underdone and NO BARK to speak of. still fatty. Probably lacking because they dont actually smoke the meat there, but get from another location. Shocked at all the other positive reviews.

What can I say. For a place that has barbecue in its name you would think they would make their own. No! The proudly announce that they bring it in from other establishments. The should have called the the poor service with a grown sandwich shop instead. Find somewhere else to spend your money.

The building itself is awesome, and I like the décor, but the food itself, was less than stellar. I ordered the brisket and an order of burnt ends, both were very tough and lacked any real flavor. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for really good BBQ.

Not bad brisket coming from a Texan. Decent pulled pork. They serve Lone Star beer which is a plus. Mac and cheese isnt the best but great baked beans . Friendly staff.

They offer standard BBQ choices. I had the beef brisket with potato salad that was good. This is in a renovated train depot and is quite nice.
