I travel for work and it takes me to all these interesting places. I try to avoid the big name restaurants. I like to find the one of a kinds. This place is definitely a one of a kind. I had ordered the smoked pork chop with mac and cheese and beans. The pork chop was hand down amazing. The favor was right, was moist and juicy, and the size was fantastic. In all my travels I have never come across a smoked pork chop that was this good. Ive tried at a few others along my path of life and they have always been dry. This one holds the bar high. Thank you Firehouse

Excellent BBQ, Excellent service, and Great music!! This was my third time here. I brought my family all the way from Muncie, and we had a great time. The owners are super nice, and are still full time firefighters. Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. Ive tried ALMOST everything on the menu, and the Ribs are better than any in the MidWest. Fall off the bone, perfectly seasoned. The rest of the family had the pulled pork and brisket, and the "Smokin Hog". Everyone loved their food. We will be back for sure, they have live music on the weekends.

Pretty good barbecue. Had a little trouble tasting the smoke on the meat without any sauce. Reasonable drink prices, and they have blues/live bands regularly. One night we went to watch the music but there was a $3 cover, which is odd for such a small town, small venue. The greeter told us theres no cover to sit in the bar, and we could hear the music without being directly in line for full volume.

What a fun little discovery. The place is well decorated and welcoming. Service was quick to seat us and take our order. The food was fantastic. I enjoyed a stuffed baked potato with brisket. Sides included baked beans and jalapeno cornbread. The entire family was pleased and we will definitely be back for a round 2.

Love love love the food here! Even though this place is well known for its BBQ, theres still a whole menu section of AMAZING food that caters to vegetarians! My favorite are the wraps. Never have had a bad experience here. Good cost for a good portion of quality food.

Best pulled pork I have had. The bartender Tim makes the best cherry Coke EVER.. Fast and friendly. Its a must when you are in Richmond Indiana. The peanut butter pie is to die for. You cant stop eating once you start.

Excellent food good service great atmosphere, would give it four and a half stars but the system doesnt let me. they need to learn how to make sweet tea and clean the beer tap otherwise perfect. Note excellent chili.

Great place to sit and enjoy family and friends, a cold beer, and some conversation. Like that it used to be a firehouse and they kept the pole. Thanks for the history of blues artists that recorded at Gennett Studio

Our family drives about an hour to eat here. We have never had a bad item 1. The BBQ is better than the "Nationally recognized" place across the street from our home. Give this place a try. You wont be disappointed.

I got the Sparky and Brunswick Stew. Wife had a pork wrap w/ cheesy potatoes. I thought mine were pretty good. Wife was not feeling her food. Staff was nice and helpful. Building was pretty cool.

A great place to eat with great food. Not a place to go to for a nice chat as it can be quite loud. Try the jalapeno cornbread muffins and the Brunswick stew, that are especially good mixed together.

If the food were as flavorful as the atmosphere , Id be inclined to give a give star rating. However truth be told the stuffed peppers were overcooked and overpriced , the food is simply okay.

Great BBQ! Great wait staff! Great place to meet-up with friends! It is an old fire station converted to a restaurant, with outdoor seating. Historic district in Richmond, IN. Always fun!

Amazing how a smokehouse, did not serve smoked meat. My brisket tasted like it was a beef roast cooked in a crock pot. Nope, as a foodie, you couldnt fool me.

Terrible..sign said to seat yourself, which I did and no one even acknowledge me and said they would be right with me. I waited 10 min. Finally walked out

Called at 11 and they said the kitchen was closed when they close at 12. Last time I went, it was pretty underwhelming. Give it a try but beware.

My bbq wrap was excellent and so was the pulled pork. The coleslaw and potato salad needed some help. Cool funky place with overall great food.

Worst barbecue I have ever had, and I have had quite a bit. Whoever is the cook here should re-think their profession.
