The service was professional while giving a family feel. I placed a carry-out order totaling 17.00. I had a Perch dinner which comes with two sides. I added a drink (Peach Iced Tea) and an extra side. My sides where Mac&Cheese Cabbage and Sweet Potato Souffle. The fish was cooked to order nice and hot. A bit saltier than I like however, still good. The cabbage was just right in terms of consistency. The souffle and mac&cheese where a bit sweet for my taste. The tea reminded me of Peach kool-aid which was pretty sweet as well. All and all the food has a nice soul food/ home cooked feel. I would recommend Family Affair Cafe and Catering to others. Looking for a taste of home.

I have been to Family Affair on 4 different occasions and every time the staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. The were efficient, paid attention to detail and stayed aware. The food was nothing short of extraordinary! The servings were very large, hot and just the right amount of seasoning. Family Affair is an establishment you can easily go alone and feel comfortable or attend with a group. The ambiance is one of "Family" and you feel like you are part of the cafe. I would easily recommend Family Affair for any and all events or venues!!!

Emailed and called the restaurant numerous of times pertaining to catering an event I even went out of my way to the location and filled out a catering form for my event I never received a call or email back Im truly disappointed because this resturant was recommended to me by a company that spends good money with them Ill be sure to NEVER suggest this place to anyone absoutly the most unprofessional experience Ive ever had if I could give zero stars I for sure would

My family and I ordered the half of a slab rib dinner. We asked if the ribs were completely cooked on the grill and were told yes. They werent... They were boiled. We ordered Man and Cheese and green beans as our sides. The mac was made with SUGAR! since when does mac and cheese call for SUGAR. The green beans tasted like canned green beans with a little salt. No ham and onions or meat whatsoever involved. Not happy with my experience.

Went to Family Affair Catering restaurant with my family for the 2nd time and they did not disappoint! Everything that each of us ordered was delicious! We had pork chops, baked chicken, jumbo chicken wings, and perch fish as meats and we ordered mac-n-cheese, mixed greens, cabbage, & candied yam soufflé as our side dishes and it tasted superb! So very glad that Columbus has a great soul food/comfort food spot.

The service was good, it was clean nice environment. I took my 3 children and we had beef ribs they were delicious very tender, Oxtails also delicious, and BBQ chicken. The sides were ok greens and cabbage could have used more seasoning. The famous peach tea super sweet and sour it was good though couldnt tell it was peach nor tea. The prices are reasonable. Definitely would recommend definitely would come back

Extremely friendly, greet you with a kind word and smile when you come in the door. They know I love pepper sauce and Texas Pete and they have it ready for when I visit. The southern style food reminds me of stick-to-your-bones, good home cooking ... very delicious and satisfying. The portions are always more than enough. Good place to meet with family and friends over a home cooked style meal.

Good home cooking, large servings (always need a doggie bag), friendly staff, price point within reason, clean well decorated dining area makes you feel comfortable, free parking. Nice location off Hamilton Rd & Winchester Pike in the Giant Eagle shopping center. Dont forget to ask what the daily specials are. I think youll be glad you stopped in for a meal.

The food and service was great. The only complaint I have is that the owners grandkids kids were running around the whole restaurant screaming and playing hide and go-seek shoving each other in the drwars. Other than that, the food was really enjoyable I had the catfish nugget dinner with two sides of fries and sweet potatoes. Very good!!

Food is wack If you guys going to call your selves "southern" please mean by it Im from North Carolina visiting Ohio, and whatever yall call southern is NOT how it taste back home. The seasoning on the chicken is terrible chicken taste old you guys need better seasoning. Rude customer service like is this a joke of southern food?

I used to go to Family Affair Café often when I lived on Hamilton rd. I am not a fan of the sweet mac n cheese, but I love their fried chicken and ribs (tips and slabs). The greens are my fav. My first time ever coming to F.A.C, the owner took my order and seemed genuinely welcoming and caring. Reminded me of my own grandmamma :)

Greeted at the door by the sweetest woman, and promptly seated by a very knowledgeable waitress! Wait time met expectations. Food was everything we had hoped for, and more! Definitely will be returning, and giving a high recommendation to everyone we talk too! Thank you FACC for some amazing food, good music and a great evening.

I love the atmosphere and music. The owner is one of the friendliest business owners Ive ever met. She alone makes me want to patronize the business more often to help ensure their success. Columbus & surrounding suburbs surely have enough soul food lovers to help keep A Family Affair around for generations to come.

I was pleasantly surprised with my first experience here. It was a takeout order because it was NFL Sunday. The food was prepared to perfection. I am new to the east side of Columbus but I have found my "go to" food spot. Bye the way I had the smothered pork chops, candied yams and mixed greens. Absolutely superb !!!

They have the best soul food in Columbus Ohio they were formally across the street from Eastland shopping center and have moved into a much larger building with ample seating they are wheelchair accessible and the staff is very friendly and attentive to my needs the Perch dinner with the candied yams are a must try
