I havent been here for about 2.5 years at my birthday family dinner. Staff were not friendly, food was only so-so and management were not accommodating, so I havent been back in around 2.5 years. I knew that the only thing my kids would eat were the steak fajitas, but I wanted to go home and eat, so we placed a carry-out order. When I got home I noticed that the tortillas and cheese was missing for the fajitas. Its a good thing that I also ordered a cheese quesadilla, or I would have some unhappy, screaming kids on my hands. So I call them about it. Sergio said that fajitas dont come with cheese, but he would give me a $4 credit on my next order for the missing tortillas because thats how much they cost = $1 each. I said that I didnt know when I would go there again to get the credit. And I just sat there in silence waiting for him to actually make it right....but nothing. Sergio said that I could come back and get the tortillas. I told him that it is extremely inconvenient for me to have to go back to get the tortillas with the kids and all. Then he got defensive and said, "cheese doesnt come with fajitas." What conversation was he having? I explained to him that I heard him the first time and that I didnt say anything more about the cheese. So I asked him if he could deliver the missing tortillas (eventhough the kids and I were already done eating). He said okay. Again, I sat there in silence for a little while.....but nothing. Then he says, "This is an inconvenience for me to leave my business." What nerve! This Sergio jerk thinks that his time worth more than my time? And then more silence. And Sergio asks, "What?" Like he knew that I was waiting on him to actually offer something for my inconvenience and their mistake and make things right because giving me $4 off my next order or delivering 4 tortillas to me after Im done eating only makes my order complete, but it doesnt make up for any inconvenience and me having to hear the kids complaining because the Cazadores staff couldnt do their job correctly. But nothing. Sergio doesnt offer me anything. So I ask, "Since we are finished eating, could you deliver some fried ice cream instead? He said yes, but then I imaged him spitting into the ice cream, so I said nevermind and just give me the credit. So now I have a whopping $4 credit off my next order. Wow! Thats so much money I dont know what to do with myself. I think I might be above the poverty line now. Thats how friendly and courteous their great management is. Two BIG THUMBS DOWN.

My boyfriend and I went 2 times in one week there. Im only giving it 2 stars because the food was actually pretty good. But the service was horrible. The first night we had a waitress named Amanda. She took our drink orders, and we didnt see her for another 15 minutes. When she finally came back over ,she said "sorry, we were talking about monster high dolls." So you made us sit for 15 minutes so you can talk to your coworkers about dolls? Anyways, she took our order and about 10 minutes later some guy brings out our food. Our waitress didnt check on us for another 15 minutes. By this time, we are out of drinks and just ready to go. We ask for a to go box and our check. Wouldnt you know it, it took almost 20 minutes just to get that. And BTW, no they werent busy at all. Maybe 4 other customers there, but multiple waitresses. The second time we came, Matt was our waiter. He was too busy attending to the booth behind us because he completely screwed up their order. So he didnt care too much about us. Much like the time before, we had long wait times. But this guy must not know anything about being polite. When he brought over food, drinks, ect, he would sit it down and walk away. I said thank you multiple times and he wouldnt even look our way or even simply say youre welcome. Although the food is pretty good, the service is horrible and we wont be back.

The food itself was adequate, Ill say that upfront. I was hoping for authentic Mexican, and it was close enough to be fine. But… when they seated us, and brought the standard tortilla chips and salsa, in a cute little arrangement like a plastic wine bottle that could be poured into a bowl, I was taken aback. I mean, salsa fresca is perhaps too much to ask of a mid-range restaurant. But this poured like liquid. We tasted it, and I asked the waiter what it was. He looks at me like Im crazy and tells me "Salsa" Um, not, really. "Made with tomato sauce" he insists. Ah… that explains the very odd flavor. It was exactly like eating cold tomato sauce out of the can. YUCK! there were flecks of cilantro, and possibly onion, but they had been added recently enough, and cold, to give the tomato sauce no flavor. We decided on the spot we would not be back. To add insult to injury, when I handed the woman at the register my card, she charged it for 79.96… for a lunch for two. It took them about ten minutes to find someone who knew how to fix the problem and get it taken care of. So if you do venture into Cazadores, make sure you check your charge slip, and for heavens sake, dont eat the Salsa!

I would like to preface this review be saying I am only putting a 1 star because some rating was required to post a review.... With that being said my coworkers and I just had lunch there and were not impressed. I ordered the no.148, my friend ordered 3 chicken tacos, and my other co worker ordered no.142. First off only two of the three dishes were served. So my friend had to wait to eat while my co worker and I started on our food. The chicken in both dishes were ice cold. When the waiter asked how everything was, I told him. The only solution he could offer is to remove my chicken from the dish and microwave it. I declined for obvious reasons. He offered no solution to the other chicken dish. Our food was removed then the third dish was finally served. The manager finally came over. She offered zero solutions. We were never even offered to be made a fresh meal... Instead she just made excuses about how the staff makes it good, and it must have sat under the heating lamp to long... I honestly felt like I was on a episode of Kitchen Nightmares.....I will not be back. If it were up to me I would be giving a zero star rating..

Triple Whammy! Lets start with the service. The waiter was slow, but also added in rudeness for our dining pleasure. Next the hard shell tacos were practically devoid of the things that make a taco... you know minor stuff like meat, lettuce and cheese. And when it came time to escape... after 10 minutes the waiter finally came and cleared our table... asked if we wanted our check... then he took orders from two other tables... then he asked what was it exactly that we had ordered... well... after another 10 minutes of this nonsense and after I noticed he was filling drink orders for who knows who... I asked the "manager" if he could track down our check. Told him about the tacos and he said "Ill take care of you on your next visit". In other words "Pay me now for something you didnt receive today and Ill make a vague promise about fixing something the next time you want to risk an unpleasant dining experience with us"! This was our 3rd visit, each time a service or food issue came up. Try El Rancho Grande, better food, better service... better everything!
