We are long time patrons of Bob Evans restaurants and have visited multiple locations in various states with excellent service. We recently moved to Springboro, OH and this was our first visit to this location. We visited right around lunch time and the location was busy. We didnt mind the wait and were seated fairly quickly. Shortly after being seated our server, Angie, came to get our drink order and that was the end of the positive service from our waitress. She brought back drinks but did not bring the lemon I asked for with my water. I asked her again for the lemon but she seemed annoyed that I asked her for it. She did bring it right back and took our order. Another member of my party ordered a bacon cheeseburger without tomato or onion. When our food was delivered the bacon cheeseburger came with only tomato and onion, and no lettuce or pickles, and was also missing the cole slaw side. When our waitress finally came back to check in on us, we asked for the lettuce and pickles, and she again seemed annoyed. She brought back the lettuce, pickles and check. We did not get refills for the remainder of our meal. She did stop by one time, picked up my plated, and walked away with the plate and my fork. I still had some of my meal remaining and no fork to eat it with. I waited for her to come back so I could at least ask for a box, but she did not come back to our table. We waited for 20 minutes to get a box and I even went to pay the bill while my party waited for her to come back to the table. She had multiple tables around us and kept going to those tables but did not come near our table. I finally got the attention of another employee and they asked her if she would bring us a box for my leftover biscuit and sausage gravy. She stood at the table behind ours and held the box out for me to stand up and get from her. She also gave me a regular container instead of the container that would hold the gravy. We were very disappointed with the service we received today since we have always had such excellent service in the past. This incident has us questioning if we will return to this location or just drive further away to another location where we have received much better service in the past.

Not only did the waiter fail to enter and submit our breakfast order, and after 30+ minutes of not seeing the waiter near our table, we decided to ask what happened. At that time the Manager says that its human error and theyll get the food right out. Asks us if we want crackers for our 2 year old. Asks us if we want soup (hello, its breakfast time). After another 10 minutes we finally get our food, which in my opinion wasnt even warm. Seeing that the manager did not intend to compensate us for our time, I had to speak to ask for a discount. He told us that he thought a 5 dollar discount (for a 25+ dollar check) sounded fair. I dont know about you, but my time is more valuable than that. I thought 50% was fair (I wasnt just trying to get the meal for free) but ended up not fussing about what would have been like 5-7 dollars difference. Then the manager goes on to tell us that there are more important things going on the world (and specifically mentions Afghanistan) than waiting over 30 minutes for food. I found it very disrespectful!!!! The only thing he needs to worry about is putting a meal on every table within a reasonable time frame. You can shove worldly affairs up your a$$. There is no way that this Bob Evans will be able to re-gain our business.

For a first impression it wasnt very good. The wait time for our food was without a doubt unsatisfactory. 10+ minutes for a scoop of Ice cream and the time waiting to get a hold of the waitress. We were never asked how the food was, and the beef in my burger was definitely not worth $9. My waitress never asked me if I wanted to take the rest of my food home or how my dinner was. When we went to check out the woman at the cash register was clearly impatient with me when I ask her questions about why I couldnt do debit or how to use their machine to swipe my card. She even rolled her eyes at me when I asked if they took debit. I wont be coming back.

In this country, I have learned Americans are picky and highly hard to please. I have been down a difficult road but am not a victim. Everything happens for a reason. Like stopping at my first experience with Bob Evans restaurant in Springboro, Ohio. Customer service felt like having a healthy family reunion. Menu so long it takes a tame mind to not order one of everything. Great specials, amazing people, managers who treat their staff like gold and to all you reviewers that gave this place a poor rating, get over yourself and appreciate the good things and people Ohio has to offer. See the good, appreciate every day because life is short.

Worse ever. Ruined Fathers Day. Waited to be seated in a near empty restaurant. Waited for server to take our order. Others seated after us served. Told manager and when I walked towards the door, a sarcatic Have a happy fathers day came out of her mouth. Wow really. I looked around the place and of course we are the only minorities in the place. Factor or not... You can decide. Not the first time it has happened.... Bad service.. But will be the last... Bob Evans used to be my go to breakfast place .. Not anymore and definitely not this one.... This is the Boro....

There were 3 in our party and we asked for a booth after waiting about 10 minutes to be seated, at which point they began giving rude looks and talking about how requesting a booth messes up their entire process. By the way they were NOT busy! The manager was standing by our table complaining! After waiting 20 minutes we still did not receive our starter bread. THANK GOODNESS we were only visiting the area as we will not be back to this Bob Evans! I just wanted a Farm house salad

My wife and I ate there on 4/30/15 at approximately 7:30AM. My coffee was too strong and my wife order a Belgium waffle. She notice the cook getting the waffle out and putting it into the plate with his bare hands. We told the assistant manger that was on duty and he seemed like he didnt care. I dont appreciate anyone who around food to handle it with their bare hands. My wife and I will never go in the Springboro Bob Evans again.

The server was great, but the food took too long to come out for what we ordered. It looked like they were short staffed. Tables and chairs around were never bused, our party switched chairs with another table to get a clean on.

When I ate their food, it caused me to have excessive flatulence, which in turn ended up with diarrhea, which caused me to shart. I ended up with a bad case of the sharts from the food. Sharts. SHARTS !!!!
