Okay so first of all the service was horrible, took forever to get food, took forever to get a refill, and it seemed like the server was trying to get rid of us! The food didnt even make up for the bad service, it was almost just as bad. My chicken and waffles were drowned in some sort of hot sauce maple syrup concoction which was terrible. My boyfriend got French toast and it was soggy with wayyyyy too much nutmeg and the "hoe potatoes" were like chopped up pieces of potato and fried in a gallon of oil. Even the drink were bad...the lemonade tasted like crystal light powder and the coffee tasted like some awful form of instant coffee. NEVER going back!

Just had the chicken and waffles. Ive liked this dish before from both this place and the other location in Cincinnati but the presentation of this dish was absolutely terrible. Three of us at a bar (1 other with me and 1 from another group) all had complaints about the hot sauce to syrup ratio that the waffles seemed to have been dunked in. Referencing other chicken and waffles pictures from this local, it is not at all like what we were presented. Some of those dishes had the maple syrup on the side which I think we all would have agreed would have been the right thing to do. Lime watermelon mimosa was great otherwise.

The food was decent, the homefries were the highlight of the meal. Very loud place to eat breakfast though, the bar elements clash with the greasy spoon diner concept a bit. Surprised to see two biscuits with gravy at 8 dollars a plate but two eggs, potatoes and bacon costing less. Biscuits and gravy are super cheap to make and serve. Im confused why they only serve a single slice of bread for toast... The bread is high quality though but disappointing they focus on having above average bread then spreading crappy margarine on it instead of butter.

The waitresses here are always extremely nice and attentive. It can get pretty busy around lunch time, but showing up around 2 oclock means you should have no problem getting a table if you can make it a late-lunch. The food tends to be pretty solid, but at times Ive found it to be a little on the greasy side. Has a lovely little outdoor seating area that faces Neil Avenue and is a real treat when its warm outside. Specials rotate, I believe, on a quarterly basis (coinciding with the school year) and feature different items Mon-Fri and the weekend.

Oh WOW! Why have I not eaten here sooner?!?!? AMAZING food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. The menu has a slight Cuban flair to it, which threw me off with my first bite of their chicken-n-waffles, but once I realized the syrup had some kick, I quickly realized that I was eating the BEST chicken-n-waffles I have ever eaten. The portions are large, and the food is made fresh. They run daily specials, and oh, did I mention? They serve alcohol with your breakfast. My goal is to try every item on their menu by the end of the year.

Hangover Easy is freaking delightful. They recently remodeled, and took what was a quirky if slightly outmoded campus spot, to a gorgeous well lit brunch place. The food is the same, and the seasonal pancakes are always the best. Be aware of the limited business hours (theyre primarily a breakfast - early lunch place) and the crowd. HoE is very popular with the campus professional crowd, and youre almost guaranteed a wait if you visit after 10 am through about 2 pm or later in the week. I cannot recommend it enough. Check it out.

Be WARNED! My wife and both her brothers got incredibly sick with food poisoning after eating here a few weeks ago. They all had menu items with egg (French toast and omlet) so we suspect they didnt cook the eggs properly or served them with bad eggs. They were all sick for at least a week and nearly went to the ER. Im sure this restaurant is very good normally but how can the public trust a place that doesnt take the welfare of its customers seriously by serving bad food?

The place is amazing. Awesome staff. Great GREAT food thats really reasonable. Ive been there several times and I live in Michigan. The girls are always fun to talk to. Even the owner himself comes out to greet us every time I am there. Now I am not an OSU fan but this place is gold. If you stay later at night during football season they even have a small bar thats fully equipped with all the beer and liquor you want. Well done HOEs. Well done indeed.

The first time we tried to go to this place, We showed up at 7:55 and they wouldnt open the door and it was very cold out. We went this last Saturday and the service was very very very slow and the food was just so so. We thought it was a poor value. I have 2 eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast, is was $6.99. Got about 2.5 oz of potatoes, one slice of toast cut in half. Took us about 55 minutes to eat breakfast. Wont be back!!!

Amusingly refered to as "HOE" by the staff and menu, this place offers an exciting blend of classic breakfast and lunch choices as well as some new twists. The breakfast cocktails are pretty well done and the food has always been excellent. It gets crowded after about 9AM on the weekends but they get you in and out pretty quickly. I recommend trying the dirty sanchez (yeah, I know) or the breakfast quesadilla.

Love this place. The name says it all. After 3 days at Rock on the Range, this place got the job done! At 1 pm on a Monday, we needed some yummy breakfast food and a few good drinks. Started with the breakfast shot, delicious, and had the Dirty Sanchez, also delicious. With a few great suggestions from our great waitress, Haleigh, it was even better. Will definitely come back!

My second time there. Last year, during a visit to OSU, I was taken there for lunch and had the black bean burger. Delicious!! This year I made HOE a destination during my trip to OSU so that I could have the bean burger again. Far from disappointing, it exceeded my expectations. Maybe thats cuz this time I had curly fries and a local IPA as well. Ill be back

So I revisited the Hang Over again just to see if the 1st time was fluke. Sad to say I was right my chicken wasnt done and when I complained the management acted as if it was my fault. Not to mention I saw him serving food after putting his shoes back on from a relaxing break while it took 45 mins to get my food. The managers just simply do not care here.

The hostess told us wed have to wait 15 minutes for our table, but we ended up waiting 35. The food took 30 minutes to get to us after we ordered, and they still forgot one of our meals. The fries were undercooked for all of our meals. I wish I could say the food was worth waiting for, but you can get this type of food anywhere. Dont waste your time.

Cutest decor. Amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Parking can be an obstacle depending on the time, but the walk is well worth it! Great variety of Mimosas, and drinks for breakfast. If you visit Columbus, or especially The Ohio State University, you have to stop in for a great quick bite. Love the creative menu
