I have to rate this place as just "meh". I hadnt been here in a few years and Im not sure if its me or them, but the experience just isnt the same as it used to be. The food was average, I felt no love in anything they cooked. Our plates came out medium warm if even that. I ordered the onion and potato hash. When I got it I barely detected any onion. For a dish that had the word onion in it I expect to be able to find or at least taste it. My husband had the killer cajun omelette and it had little flavor to it as well. I ordered hot tea and when he brought out the box of bags they all looked identical, had I not investigated further I would have missed that each bag had a different flavor despite them all being the same color packaging. A tip to the servers that they may want to point this out to their customers when bringing it out. Service was average and not anything above the expected basics. At check out the first host was very pleasant and offered to remove the hash from our bill, the second host however was defensive and tried to tell my husband that the dish wasnt supposed to have much onion in it and that it was just their normal side potatoes (I can confirm he was right). However I dont believe you should advertise a dish as different from the others if it isnt. I doubt we well be returning. If youre looking for fresh and healthy breakfast there are far better choices in town where the quality and the ingredients are higher. Youll most likely find us at North Star when going out for brunch without the kids.

I have to give a huge shout out to Ramon, general manager of First Watch. There were 6 of us who had stopped in for breakfast after participating in Dash for Donations 5K on Saturday. As we were being seated by Ramon, he took the time to ask us about the t-shirts we were wearing with Josies picture on it. We told him about our friends who had lost their beautiful 19 year old daughter Josie in a car accident and how over 100 people walked in support of her memory. He was so inspired and touched by her story he asked if he could buy our breakfast. He did not need to do that but his kindness has truly touched our hearts. It shows the dedication he gives to his restaurant and the care he has for his customers. I am a frequent customer of First Watch, love their food. I will make a point now to visit the Polaris location more frequently thanks to the kind staff. We received excellent customer service from our waitress who also shared her story with us. It was an overall great experience. I will be donating the cost of our breakfast to Josies scholarship fund on behalf of Ramon. Thank you

This place is NOT overpriced for the food you get. Reading through some of these reviews Im noticing many people saying how "overpriced" this place is. You get healthy food that tastes amazing, its worth $9 for a full course breakfast. This is not a waffle house competitor people, this is a Bob Evans type competitor. And in my opinion, First Watch tops Bobs. The coffee is easily the best Ive ever had, I cant help but to drink 4+ cups when I come here. The staff is great and the service is quite fast. Not the biggest establishment so sometimes theres a wait but Ive never ran into anything too long.

We go here almost every weekend for brunch. Used to be fantastic, recently though the portions seem to get smaller and smaller, and the recipes are changing. Used to love it, now just like it. Still a great option for bunch but on the weekend be sure to get there before 9am or you will be waiting a while. If you want to skip the wait and get in line before you get there, or just want to see how busy it is before you go, install the app "No Wait".

This place is very popular in the Columbus area but not really sure why. The breakfast extremely over priced and they always have a 35 plus min wait. They do use incredibly fresh ingredients and however they are trying to be too up-scale and should focus more on the classics. 40 bucks for breakfast 5 for one pancake thats not very good.... is quite steep. Good concept people seem to like it not for me though.

First Watch is a nice place that seems to be where a lot of people from local businesses frequent! Food is excellent, staff very polite and attentive with excellent prices. I haven’t tried the breakfast but it looked pretty good from what I saw others ordering.

Great for brunch! I love brunch, and First Watch is a great place to meet up with friends on the weekend to discuss life and current goings-on. The service is great, but there tends to be a bit of a wait for a table. The food and selection are wonderful.

All First Watch restaurants serve amazing food, and all have a wait because of it haha. This ones food was on point, the service was great, and the wait was quite short which led to an enjoyable experience

I had a yogurt & fruit parfait with seasonal fruit including watermelon and apple among other fruits but they sautéed and caramelized the apples. It was magnificent! Great variety of other eats too.

We went on a Saturday for brunch and had to wait more than thirty minutes for a table. The food came pretty quick and it was really good. Reasonable price and healthy options

Big fan of First Watch. Always using fresh ingredients and having unique menu items. I had the Wild Caught Alaskan Smoked Salmon on Cucumber toast and it was great.

Scrambled eggs and millionaire bacon were delicious! Our kids really enjoyed their choc chip pancakes and sausage. Service was good, but not always the friendliest.

The food is good, however the service has consistently been bad, and our order has been wrong on a few occasions as well.
