We go there all the time because we like the food there. However, if we order pick up during the day, the service is ALWAYS horrible!! Today I cant stand it anymore and need to tell anyone who is interested to go there: I called for ordering to go; a guy told me it took 30 minutes (it was around 1:10pm). After 35 minutes I got there, there was 1 table dine-in, and the very mean waitress told me to wait AT LEAST another 15 minutes. I was upset but what could I do (it seemed that i interrupted their lunch time so i deserved to wait 1 hour for my food!!) Then finally I got my food and after I got home and opened the pizza box, I couldnt believe what they did-- THERE WERE 12 SMALL PIECES OF CHICKEN ON THE LARGE (16 INCHES, 12 SLICES) PIZZA, AND THE PIZZA WAS EXTREMELY GREASY AND LOOKED GROSS!! So we can only have 1 piece of chicken on each slice, oh a disgusting slice!! WHAT A SERVICE, WHAT A FOOD, AND WHAT A EXPERIENCE!! WE WILL NEVER GO TO VERSO AGAIN, AND WE WILL TELL OUR FRIENDS NOT TO GO!!!

We just got back from dinner at Verso and were greatly dissatisfied. 1st they did not have the a/c on. Yes it might have only been 50 degrees outside but with the sun coming thru the windows we were baking in there and air was stagnant. 2nd we were not served any type of bread, not even when our salads were served. 3rd I ordered the chicken parm with a side of spaghetti and also a side of penne pasta with alfredo. I was charged for a dinner portion of penne with alfredo instead of a side. The chicken parmesan itself looked like the size of a chicken patty with little cheese drowning in sauce with not much flavor. My aunt and uncle who live on the east side always raved about their pizza was disappointed with the pizza tonight. They said the dough tastes differently and not as good as last time. They mentioned this to the waitress and she didnt seem to care they were disappointed with it and walked away. This visit reminded us why we dont go there to eat often.

Pizza was kind of pricey for what it was. Dont get me wrong, it was good, but for $16 for a large pizza in order to stay competitive with the likes of Marcos and other places, they would have to make it more affordable. The chicken parm was ok - they serve the chicken on a separate plate from the pasta and use a ton of sauce (which is ok by me because their red marinara sauce is super yummy). The chicken wasnt anything spectacular and the pasta was just boxed pasta but the sauce made it good. Wish that you could try different sauces before making a decision - they have a garlic alfredo sauce I might have wanted to try but the waitress told me that they make all their sauces to order so we couldnt try and I dont like to send stuff back. A little on the pricey side, but the food exceeds Olive Garden.

Good selection of pizzas, mine was actually quite good, my husband had the meatball sandwich, which he said was also good. The decor and layout of the restaurant was pleasing, and it seemed clean and inviting. The reason I didnt rate higher and why we almost walked out is that the hostess didnt give our table to a server so we had to wait over 15 just to get our drink order in. Once the servers realized no one had helped us and assumed then that whoever served us wouldnt get much of a tip, we saw each of them openly try not to be our server when discussing it amongst themselves. We left a decent tip, but nothing great, as the girl who finally served us wasnt friendly and didnt return for refills or to check in very often. Service sucked, food was good for a middle class place. Might try one more time.

Located in an average looking multi vendor strip mall building...we almost decided to move on to another location. Lucky for us, we did not. The candle lit atmosphere might have been slightly dark for menu reading, But, the food and service were wonderful. We had salads and pizza. The mixed greens salad was fresh crisp and delicious. The toppings on the pizza were fresh and not overcooked. This allowed for a crisp warm texture. The flavors of each ingredient stood alone as they melted wonderfully together in our mouths. We wished we lived close so we could dine in or order take out regularly. They do have nightly specials, call them for details. I rate Verso a “Must repeat” even though I live 6 hours away.

While out of town in Cleveland, I ordered food to our hotel. The delivery was earlier than expected and the delivery guy was very friendly. But as far as the food was concered, I was not impressed. It was pricey, $12.00 for pasta with marinara sauce, the food comes with a salad and a piece of "garlic bread". The marinara sauce tasted like a the ones you can buy at the supermarket, and the pasta was slightly overcooked and to oily. The salad was ok, but the "garlic bread" looked like a Pillsbury take and bake roll, that had been brushed with garlic butter, very dissapointing.

Customer service at the restaurant is rough at best. Weve never had an issue being seated. The wait between sitting down, the drink order and the order taking is very long. After the meal you wait and wait for someone to come over. Meanwhile the kitchen seems to be quite the conversation location during those times and throughout the meal. Food is decent but has been better. They may have a new chef in the back.

Really did not know this place existed, all I can say is I am so glad we found it! Amazing service, food is excellent, enjoyed the restaurant, but have also ordered for pickup, always ready and always excellent food. Have recommended it over and over, cant say enough good things! You just have to go and experience it for your self!

Outstanding!! Just passing through for a brief time from MN. but liked it so much we hit it twice. Cajun chicken pasta was out of this world. Pizzas are excellent too. Our server Becky was delightful. Quaint atmosphere, quiet. Strongly recommend!!!

Great food at a fair price. Between my wife and I weve tried quite a few things on the menu and everything has been good. Ive had great service every time Ive been here. Ill come here over the high priced Italian places any day if the week.

First time trying this place and was not impressed at all. Place was dead i ordered a meat pizza and boyfriend got chicken parm with soup. Everything lacked flavor and the sauce on the chicken parm was very watery. Will not be back again!

Really great hole-in-the wall restaurant serving a variety of salads, pasta dishes and pizzas. The specialty pizzas are interesting and delicious. The only downside is the atmosphere - the music is much louder than it needs to be.

Worst customer service ever. Gave me the wrong pizza and promised to credit my next purchase, then called me a lier next time I called, made my family wait for over an hour and still never delivered. pizza is way over priced.

Went for lunch and got the pepperoni rolls as an app and then the chicken marsala. Pepperoni rolls were awesome, dinner came with a salad and dinner rolls. Marsala was pretty good. Will definitely go again.
